I watched every move she made, intriguingly. Was it wrong to be so in awe just by the movement of a woman?
My brown eyes searched her green ones as she looked at me. She was going to say something, and everything in my being was dieing to know what it was.
Finally, realizing she had quieted, I lifted myself up and kept my eyes on her.
“So…”
I said quietly.
“You know, when we came to the fountain, I told you a little about myself. I think it’s your turn to tell me about you.”
This would most likely be my favorite subject to talk about.

She wasn't sad to be here, but she missed her home, her family, and her old life. Everything here was strange and new--everything there was old and familiar. She turned back to Andrew, searching for a way to start. Her legs suddenly felt weak, her heart hammering. Was she well and truly ready to talk about the life she had left behind? Did he really want to hear? Or was he just filling the silence? She settled for a question of her own. A wash of guilt came over her at sidestepping the topic, but her words were honest. "Perhaps we could retire to my rooms first? We can have a cup of tea and sit down. Then I'll tell you." She turned her gaze away from him. She realized that she wanted to tell him--wanted him to know her, and where she had come from. But it wouldn't be easy. An image of her father surfaced from her memories. His sad face and lines forehead, begging her not to go in her stead. Her sisters, their faces sad but not heartbroken, for the money that was left over from her departure could fund a small party of some sort, or a pair of new gowns. She missed them terribly. But Sage didn't want him to know that. She needed time to think. Time to figure out a way to tell him about the life she came from, without hurting herself in the process.

[[I'm really sorry about making you wait on the super power roleplay and this one. My siggy says why, but I guess it's also because for our newest one, I kinda have that 'writers block' thing. I never know how to start a roleplay. So, to tell you the truth, I am completely avoiding it D: I promise, right after I do this thing for the blogs category and reply to the 'easier post' roleplays, I will post on both of these.
