Ariana teased, her and her friends were always sneaking stuff about, and getting into trouble

"Angel....do you smell that too?"

she said slowing down, trying to figure out what the smell was

I nodded slowly, and slowed down to keep better pace with Ariana. It smelt like a mixture of fire, melted metal, and something else.

Ariana said, not meaning to say it so loud, but she couldn't help it, she had heard tales of the humans and machine pokemon, she had only seen them once, but she was very young then. She shook her head trying to get the memories out and looked back at Angel

"Come on, we need to go make sure Akkou and Cartney are ok, then we need to go to Leader Martove"

she said breaking into a run

I ran after Ariana. I couldn't believe how much easier it was to run with them. To me they seemed slower, but I promised myself I would always take a run so I wouldn't have to lose speed.

Ariana kept running till she found Akkou and Cartney, sitting breathing hard

"What were you guys thinking!? running off like that and scaring me half to death"

she growled while walking up to them

"I couldn't help it, I smelled something weird, and I saw something that sparked my interest!"

Cartney said defensively, getting up and cleaning her fur up a bit

"Well you should keep your interest at bay, we were running forever, don't you ever run out of energy?"

Akkou said growling as well

"Guys, come on, were going to go see either Leader Martove, or one of the generals"

Ariana said starting to walk off

"What about?"

Cartney said a little hurt

"Angel and I smelled something and we need to tell Leader Martove, now come on guys"

Ariana said tail twitching with annoyance

"Everyone..."  It was clear he was exhausted.  "Please return to your homes for the time being.  No one is allowed to leave this village under any circumstances.  The dangers out there are growing.  Until this situation is resolved, this rule shall remain in place."  He flew deep into the cave where the deep fresh water spring was.    That is where he slept, deep beneath the waters, out of sight.

Cartney snarled defensively

Akkou said walking up to his sister

"Stop teasing me!"

Cartney said running off again

"She doesn't usually do this"

Akkou and Ariana said at the same time, both turning towards Angel

Tsuki bowed to Dosco then left the cave

"He looks very tired"

she said turning to Kitch

"We should get back over to Rayko...he's probably getting worried, plus we need to tell him the news"

she said turning and walking towards Rayko's house

"Ariana," i said not sure what to do with my voice. "I think it is me. I'm going to go now. Maybe i'll see you around." I half smiled and darted off. I knew they couldn't keep up with me and this would be good to hide again. I hated being so out in the open.
