Shadow awoke with a yawn,but stayed laying down on a thick branch in a tree. She sat up and leaned against the tree trunk as she listened to the noises that earth creatures made in the mornings.

Shadow picked up the sound of foot steps and matched them to Edgar's. She flew out of the tree and landed of the ground near it's trunk. She leaned against it to support her and said,"Good morning." Noticing his eyes her face took on a confused look and she asked,"Umm... Your eyes... What's wrong with them?"

"They aren't brown. They are a pupilless glowing blue color.",Shadow replied and then remembered that she forgot to cover herself with her wings. She quickly wrapped her wings around her and looked,slightly,embarrassed.
