Jax stumbled along the pathway. After waking, he had put on clothes and ambled out of the house, feeling terrible. He needed to talk with Amy, but thought that a walk would clear his head a bit. Hearing hoofbeats, he turned and saw Amy and Erich riding towards him. "Amy!" he cried out, "Wait. Can I talk to you for a minute?"

Amy just galloped past him, not looking back she galloped all the way to the town. Erich came five minutes later. "You went pretty fast." He said. Amy just smiled and walked into a nearby cafe.

Upset, Jax shook his head and willed the tears to stop welling up in his eyes. Walking back to the house briefly to get a notebook and a pen, Jax made his way into the forest. Stopping at a large sunlit boulder, he sat down and began to write. Dear Amy, he began, I... I don't know what to do. I never asked for Kylie to kiss me, and I feel as bad about it as you do, because it means she was cheating on Owen. I don't know whether to tell him and break his heart or let him be ignorant and happy. I wish the kiss had never happened and I just want to say I'm sorry for what it did to you. I love you, more than I've ever loved a girl before, and I want you to be the happiest you can be. If there is anything I can do, please tell me. I'll have a talk with Kylie, but I really need to talk to you. Please. Don't shut me out. I love you. Jax With that, Jax stood, walked back home, and got an envelope. He sealed the letter inside and wrote Amy's name in simple writing on the side, then slipped it under her door. He knew she probably wouldn't be back yet, so he went back home, locked himself in his room, and began to cry a bit.

When Amy finally got home, Kylie was out. Thank god, she thought. Inviting Erich in, she started making food when Erich walked in with a envelope. Not recognizing the handwriting, she ripped the envelope open. Reading Dear Amy, she was interrupted by "Oh my god, Amy! The food!" Erich shouted. Amy turned around seeing she had set the food on fire. Quickly rushing over and dropping the letter, it burnt. Amy covered her face with shock and screamed. Erich got the fire out and turned around. Amy hugged Erich, which was returned. "Why don't we just order pizza?" He asked. Laughing, Amy nodded.

Hearing a scream from the other house, Jax jolted up. He had taken his shirt off and fallen asleep, but the noise had woken him. He raced out of the house, still shirtless, and rushed into Amy's house. Seeing smoke and Amy and Erich laughing, he began to feel foolish. "Did you get my letter, Amy?" he asked.

"What letter?" she asked. Turning her head back towards the TV, she motioned for him to come and sit down one the other cough.

"Oh... I sent you a letter? Slipped it under your door?" Jax replied, puzzled. "And what happened with the fire? Are you ok?" He asked, sitting on the other couch and setting a hand on hers.

Moving her hand away, she said. "I got a letter, but I dropped it in the fire by accident. The fire just burnt the meal I was burning." she said smiling sheepishly. She heard her phone go and went to look for it. New text from: Erich;) Why you being so nice? I thought you were upset?? <3 Amy closed the message and stepped out. "It's getting late, I am off to bed." Amy announced. "I'm sure you know your way out." Amy said again. Erich nodded and got up, walking out behind Jax. As he closed the door, Erich gave a smirk and thrower a wink at her. Amy took out her phone and texted Erich. Come back in 1/2 and hour? I didn't want that "guy" hanging around. Making popcorn in half an hour, Erich walked in. Settling down again, they began to watch their movie.
(Amy doesn't like Jax, right now. I have a nice, evil plan!! It will be a nice surprise...)

Feeling hurt and confused, Jax walked home, burying his face in his pillow. Owen came in, sitting on the bed beside him. "Things are going rough with Kylie?" he asked, setting a hand on Jax's back and rubbing it slightly. Nodding, Jax mumbled, "I don't even know if she likes me anymore. I don't know what's going to happen to us." The two sat together, late into the night. Jax still hadn't told Owen about the kiss. The two fell asleep in Jax's bed.

When the movie had finished, Erich looked at Amy. "I think I might have a plan." he said. "Oh really, what should this plan be?" Amy replied. "We could make Jax jealous, like you and I fake date?" he asked. "I don't know..." Amy started. "Oh come on! It will be fun!" Erich said shoving her. "Okay." she replied. Amy got up and pushed Erich out the door. "Goodnight!" Amy said. "Goodnight, me lady!" Erich said, blowing a kiss. Amy just shook her head and laughed. Going inside, she fell asleep before Kylie came back.

(yeah, sorry. Ill edit it.) Jax woke to the sound of rain. Sitting, he rubbed the sleep from his eyes and looked out the window. Rain trailed down the pane, puddling on the ground and soaking the whole campus. Jax got dressed in a pair of jeans and a red hoodie, slipping out the door before Jesse or Owen could awaken. Hurrying to the stables, he untied Midnight, saddling the horse and bringing him to a gallop once they reached the school gates.

Amy woke up and showered quickly. Walking into her cupboard she selected her clothes. Pulling on some dark skinny jeans, boots with a heal and a vest. She blow dried her hair. After that was done, she applied make-up and put on a red hoodie. Satisfied with herself, she walked around the house. Walking into Kylie's room, she saw a note. Out of town, will be moving dorms on Sunday.. Kylie. Amy chucked the note into the bin. Realizing she would now be alone, in the dorm. She shrieked as a loud lightning struck above, the power went out. A storm was passing and Amy grabbed her bag. She hated storms and didn't want to be alone, epically when the power was out. She called Jax, no answer. She left a voice note: "Um... Hey Jax, just wondering if you wanted to come over? Talk things out maybe... Umm, call me later maybe? Or even text, I don't mind... Um okay, by the way" Amy didn't finished as another loud flash went, screaming again she saw her phone was dead. Throwing her phone on the floor in frustration, it smashed into millions of pieces. Swearing away, she then noticed she was not alone in the room.

The rain was pouring down in buckets, drenching Jax and causing him to turn back towards the stables. He felt his phone ring, but couldn't get to it in time, he was so busy trying to dismount and tie Midnight up. When he looked, it showed the call was from Amy, and he cursed not answering it. He listened to the message and called back, but no one answered. Her phone must be dead. Pulling his hoodie up over his ears, he raced back. Pausing outside of Amy's house, he opened the door without knocking in his haste. Jax stood, the lightning illuminating his from behind, he watched Amy throw her phone. "Hey Amy. I'm here. Do you want to walk with me to my place? Owen set up an emergency generator, so we should still have power."

Amy jumped up, "You gave me a heart attack! I will come over, sure." Grabbing her smashed phone and walking out she mumbled as she passed Jax, "Don't people know how to knock these days?" loud enough for him to hear.

Blushing, he grinned as he followed her out, "Sorry." The rain had slowed somewhat, but still cascaded down, and lightning still danced across the clouds. Hurrying her over, Jax led her in. "Here, you can sit on my bed while I get the generator started," he motioned to him slightly messy but still made bed. Taking a screwdriver, he unhinged the vent and reached in, flicking the switch to start up the power. setting the tools down beside it, he sat next to Amy as the lights flickered on, one by one. "Do you need to charge your phone?" Jax asked, pointing to a charger plugged in on his desk.

Amy walked in and sat on Jax's bed. Showing him her 'phone' she looked into his eyes and spoke, "I don't think any charger will save it now!" Amy giggled. "Well, I guess I need to go shopping for a new one! Want to come?" Amy asked. Taking out the sim card and slipping it into her wallet she started playing wih her bracelet.

"Of course!" Jax said, taking her hand and leading her out the door. They rode on the horses to the store in town, and Jax left Amy to pick out a phone while he bought some groceries. Coming back into the store, he held out a small bouquet of roses. "Here," Jax said, grinning and blushing as he handed them to her. "Have you picked one out yet?"

Amy smiled at the bouquet and thanked him. Nodding her head, she took the type of phone she had previously. Paying for it and wondering back to the horses, they rode back to school.

As they dismounted and headed back to Jax's house, Jax pulled out his phone and typed in the password. Handing it to Amy, he said, "Here. You can look at my contacts if you need people's numbers. Including mine," he added, raising an eyebrow devilishly before breaking out laughing at her ex
pression. He unlocked the door and led her in, sitting on his bed.
