(Oh.)

Jax opened the door and stared at Amy. "Wow... You, uhh, look great," he said, eying her. She was definitely pretty, with a lithe body and great personality, and he blushed thinking about it. Owen was smiling at Kylie as well, and there was an awkward silence before Owen said, "Dudes, we should go down to the stables." Jax snapped out of his trance and nodded absentmindedly, still thinking about Amy. But when Owen yelled "Race you!" his head cleared as he sprinted down the road. The stables were only a couple hundred feet down the road in the opposite direction from the buildings that the classes were held in, and Jax won easily, before turning back to Amy and Kylie. Walking back to them, he blushed and grinned.

 "Hurry, we need to go down to the stables. Today's the first day you can sign up for a horse, and it's lucky we got here first. See, look at all the people coming," he pointed behind them. About 30 people were walking slowly over to the stables, laughing and talking. Jake pulled Kylie forward and they jogged to the stables, which were by then only a few yards away. Scanning the horses, Jax held his hand out to a bay mare. It pulled away, afraid, and Jax shook his head and moved to the next stable. Repeating the gesture to the white stallion inside, he petted it's nose, but realizing that it only had a single eye, he sadly moved on. Finally, he stuck his hand into a cage with a large black horse. The only white on it was a star on his forehead, and it came swiftly over and whuffled and nuzzled his hand. Grinning, Jax looked at the card hanging on the pen. It held the horses information. Jax looked up into the horses wide grey eyes. "So, your name is Midnight, you're a three year old stallion, very spirited but friendly and will cooperate with a rider with a strong hand, and you are a Morgan/Arabian hybrid. Sounds good to me." And with that, he picked up the card and brought it over to the riding master,   Mr. Thompson who took it and scanned the information.

 Looking into Jax's eyes, he asked, "Do you think you can handle him? He needs a strong hand to guide him, and he will try to test you, but once you establish that you have a strong arm, he's a great horse." Jax nodded, and Mr. Thompson marked him down. "Go get the blue saddle blanket and saddle number 13, then hook him up, as I'm sure you know how to from last year, and he's yours." Jake nodded and found the blue blanket and saddle number 13, a dark leather one that was worn in all the right places. Meeting Owen, who had chosen a bay mare that Jax had overlooked, he brought the supplies into Midnight's stable and hooked him up, reins, saddle, blanket, and all. Leading him out of the stables so as not to get in the way, He and Owen waited for the girls to choose their horses and meet them outside the stables.

Riding Midnight through the gates of the school, Jax turned to Amy and smiled, blushing a little. Not far behind, Kylie and Owen rode on Hobbit and Sami, Owen's horse. He looked at her, started to mumble something, then decided to stay quiet. Rounding the top of the last hill, they saw the bustling town. Urging Midnight to a gallop, Jake and Amy rode ahead to the little Chinese place on the outskirts of the village. Stabling their horses in the small local stable for students, the pair entered, followed closely by Owen and Kylie.

 The restaurant was small and beautiful, with the tables lit by candlelight and red and gold tapestries of dragons hanging everywhere. Seeing the four of us, the host frowned. "I'm sorry, but we only have tables for two left, and they are in such places that they cannot be moved together," he said through a thick Chinese accent. looking back at his friends, Jax shrugged. "Oh well, it's too late to find another place, so I guess these will have to do." Turning to the man, he said that that would be ok, and the group split up, Kylie and Owen going to one table and Jax and Amy going to the other.

Amy was glad to be alone with Jax, sorry Kyles. She liked him and he was cute when he blushed. She followed the peson to the table and sat down. She hung her bag over the chair and picking up the menu choose her meal. NODDLES! Spicy noddles with chicken bits and cashews. (IS THIS OKAY?) She looked at Jax while choosing his meal and sighed, mega cute alert! She blushed slightly when he caught her staring. Uh oh!

( I suggest we each control Jax and Amy, and both control Owen and Kylie. Also, noodles! Yumm... Perfect...)

Jax took the menu from the waiter and decided quickly. Looking up from it to give him his order, he caught Amy staring and smirked a little bit, raising his eyebrows at her teasingly. Turning to the waiter, he stated his order, "May I have the Beef and Broccoli, with a side order of dumplings?" "Certainly, pork, chicken, or vegetable dumplings?" the waiter asked, scribbling down his order. glancing back at Amy, he said with a silly grin and a spark of mischief in his eyes, "Since I can't eat this all, your going to have to help me on the dumplings. Which do you prefer?" Waiting for her to decide, Jax turned back to the waiter. "Can I also have a beer? A Moor Double Dark Alliance?" Nodding, the waiter requested his ID and he handed it over, proving he was over 16 (Let's make this the drinking age, k?) And the waiter marked it down before turning back to Amy so she could finish ordering the dumplings.

Taking his paw back quickly after seeing her flinch backwards slightly, he nodded sympathetically at Amy's story. Seeing the food, he beqan to eat. Grinning after wolfing down all of his food, he reached for a dumpling. There were 6 on the plate, and he nabbed one to pop into his mouth, eyes twinkling and never breaking contact with Amy's eyes as he did so.

Jax groaned as he felt a heavy weight press down on top of him, and he shifted so he could push Owen off. "I'm going out with Kylie," he said with a smile and a blush, and Jax nodded approvingly at his best friend. Owen left the room and left the house, and Jax stripped out of the clothes from the night before and pulled on a pair of boxers. Stretching out in front of the mirror, he grabbed a pair of black athletic shorts, then heard his phone buzz. Picking it up, he read the text from Amy with a smile, added her number to his phone, and sent back: Sure, i will c u there. might b a bit late though. Pulling the shorts off, because he wanted to look relatively nice, he opted for a pair of straight legged dark denim jeans and a light grey t-shirt, pulling them on with ease. The shirt was just tight enough to show off some of his abs, and he grinned and ran a finger over them.

Looking down at  his watch, he realized it was 8:50 and ran down to the stables, quickly saddling Midnight and leaping on. The spirited stallion bucked slightly as they exited the stables, but Jax kept a steady hand on the reins and drove his into a gallop. Midnight loved to run, he could tell, and was pretty fast as well. He might just be able to make his date on time. Saddling him quickly in the stables, he ran into a small flower shop, grabbing a small bouquet of daisies and sunflowers. Paying for it quickly, he ran out and into the Starbucks next door.

Amy was there, her back turned to him, and he suddenly felt nervous, blushing and thinking only about how pretty she was. Taking a deep breath, he walked behind her and wrapped his arms around her from behind in a gentle hug.

Poking her lightly on the belly where her top had pulled up, he said, "I'm going to get a mocha. Would you like to split something as well? Like a plate of cookies or a croissant?" Jax grinned, and followed her to the counter where they ordered.
