Sitting there amazed at the kiss, he sprinted after Amy, blowing a kiss as he unlocked his own door, walked into his bedroom, stripped down to his boxers, and fell asleep. The next morning Jax woke late, alarm showing 8:00 AM. Sitting straight up, he relaxed as he realized that the school schedule had changed, classes now started at 8:30. Hopping out of bed thinking of Amy, he changed his boxers, took a quick shower, then threw on clothes, a pair of black basketball shorts and a light grey athletic shirt that was loose but showed his muscles underneath. Walking into the common room, he checked his phone: 8:17. He still had time, and he turned to the door to open it when the door opened and Jesse and Owen stepped in. "Jesse!" Jax cried, and embraced his friend in a short, tight hug during which they tried to squeeze the air out of each other's lungs. "Dude!" Jesse said as he stepped away, "There's a party tonight in the woods. Kayla's hosting, and they say it'll be totally wild! Do you want to come?" "Of course!" Jax exclaimed back, "Let me ask Amy, Kyle and Erich." He jogged over to Amy's house, knocking, and when she answered, he introduced her and Kylie to Jesse. "Hey, ummm, there's a party tonight in the woods. Would you two and Erich like to come?" he asked, kissing Amy on the cheek.

Amy awoke at 7:00 AM. She showered and got dressed into a vest, shorts and some pumps. She applied some mascara, smokey gray eyeliner, smokey grey eye shadow. Then she put on clear lig gloss. She tossed her make-up into her bag and stepped out her room. She packed her school bag and heard a knock on the door. Kylie came and she looked pretty. She was wearing a black vest with a pink cardigan, shorts with fishnet stockings and her boots that Amy envied. They both answered the door and smiled at Jesse. Amy looked at Kylie, "I can't make it, but Kylie can." Amy hurried back inside and grabbed her bag and walked out taking her keys with. She started walking towards wondering if Jax would walk with her.

Looking disappointed, but still happy that she was cheerful, he followed her to class, holding her hand on the way. English was first, and they walked in together, sitting in their seats. The English class was organized into desks, and Jax sat between Amy and Jesse, Owen on Jesse's other side and Kylie on Amy's other side. Grinning as he set his backpack down, he turned to face the teacher, and older deer anthro, but was soon lost in thoughts and barely heard a word the teacher was saying. "Mr. Mason, what was the answer to the question I've been asking you for the last five minutes?" Snapping out of his daydreams, he asked if she would repeat the question. Frowning, she obliged, "What was the point of writing a narrative in different styles?" "Ummm, to show different ways of focusing on each topic?" he asked. Sighing, she nodded, and continued rambling about something or other. Jax let out a breath he didn't know he'd been holding, and grinned at Amy, raising an eyebrow and whispering into her ear, "That was close," before taking her hand in his under the table.

Nodding, he let go, turning back to the teacher. Whispering Jesse for his notes, he saw that the panther anthro didn't have any either. Owen was typing away notes on his laptop, and Jax grinned. This was how their deal went: Owen would type up notes, since he was generally the one paying the most attention. Then, after school, they would print three copies of the notes out and each study them. The deal worked well, and since there was little homework except projects and studying, the three spent a half hour or so each day after school studying, either alone or in a group. "Why can't you make it to the party tonight?" Jax whispered to Amy.

Amy shook her head, "Erich and I are studying for a test, in film class and Kylie doesn't need to study. Okay? Now, I would like to concentrate please!" she whispered to him.

Nodding understandingly, he focused back on his paper, a rough sketch of a dragon coiled around a beating heart taking shape. Adding shading and more detail, he finally finished, passing the drawing down to Jesse and Owen so they could see. Passing it back, the bell rang, and all he students got up and headed to their next class. Entering the well lit room of his Mythology class, he sat on top of the table. Mr. Aeoleos was a relaxed teacher who thought that children learned better in a relaxed, casual place, so all the students could sit wherever they want, whether it was the small couch in the back, the table, the top of the closet, or the felled imitation Greek column, made of actual marble from last year's class. Handing out different Greek mythology books out to everyone, he asked them simply to focus on the myth of Jason and the Argonauts. They could choose to interpret this however they wanted, whether it was comparing the same legend in two different books, trying to figure out why and what time the legend was written, and what was going on at that time, or any way else they could think of. Jax loved this class, and climbed up on top of the closet to read, sketching out each scene of the story on a piece of paper. The bell rang, and he slid down, stuffed the papers in his backpack, and headed to Lunch, his next period. "Hey," he said to Amy as he met her walking out of the class building and walking towards their houses. He took her hand, and, giving it a gentle squeeze, asked, "Would you like to come over for lunch? Kylie and Erich could come as well, if you would like."

Amy shook her head. "Busy." she said. Amy walked off to go and meet Erich outside. She walked up to him and hugged him, kissing him on the check she pulled out her lunch. Erich did the same and they just chatted and joked around. When the bell rang, Erich walked Amy to the class. Amy smiled at him when he left. Kylie wasn't there, neither was Owen, Jesse and Jax. The was a desk between two friends of Amy and Kylie. She sat down in between and smiled at them. Kylie walked in and Amy called her over. "Aren't we sitting with the boys?" she asked. Amy shook her head, "Not all the time, Kyles." Amy said. When they did walk in, Amy smiled and waved at Jax.

Heading back towards the dorms, Jax turned when he heard laughter and saw Jesse and Owen joking around behind him. Waiting for them to catch up, he talked with them, laughing when Owen teased him about Amy before firing off a quick retort about his own love life with Kylie. Still laughing, they entered the house, heading into the kitchen and making sandwiches which they quickly wolfed down. Jogging back to class, Jax saw that Amy was sitting with her other friends, and smiled at her, taking a seat on the other side of the room with Jesse and Owen on his left desk. The right side of his desk was empty until a skinny cheetah anthro took the seat, purring and batting her eyelashes at him. Jax rolled his eyes as he glanced towards Amy, then Jesse and Owen.

Amy just let it roll, rolling her eyes that the "thing" she pulled out some notes and just read through them.

Pulling out his earlier sketch of the dragon coiled around the heart, he took out a pencil and began darkening the lines until he was satisfied with the result, adding in flames burning the heart. The cheetah beside him edged closer, leaning into him as she gazed at his drawing. "So does someone own your heart?" she asked brushing her nails along his leg under the table. Edging away, he stared at her defiantly, "Yes, I have a girlfriend. Now stop bothering me," he said, uncomfortable at the close proximity of her body to his. "Well of course you would, handsome," she purred, raising her hand to his jawline. Pushing it away, he made eye contact with Amy, raising his eyebrows in a frantic SOS. She was now half on his chair, and he grabbed his drawing, got up, slipped it into his backpack, and motioned to Jesse to switch seats with him. Grinning, Jesse took Jax's seat, settling an arm around the cheetah casually. At the end of class, Jax went to talk to Amy, and couldn't help but notice Jesse and the cheetah, who was apparently named Brittney, making out in the hallway.

Amy rolled her eyes at the cheetah, she thought of some words but decided not to say anything. When Jax came up to her she just shook her head, "I saw it and I don't care. I'm gonna be late." Amy said. Meeting up with Erich they walked to Maths. Sitting down next to Erich, Amy just talked to him. Laughing softly, she rolled her eyes. That thing was there. Oh well, she thought to herself. She carried on talking to Erich.

Surprised by her sharp words, Jax walked away, leaving her with Erich. Erich. Did Amy like him? In a relationship sort of way? Jax, puzzled, decided to ask her in the next class, Math. Walking into the classroom, he sat on Amy's other side, Owen on his other side and Kylie next to Owen. "Hey, can I ask you something? Do you like Erich? Like him like a crush?" he blurted out to her, putting a paw on her shoulder. (Hey, sorry about such short notice, but I will be going away for three weeks starting tomorrow. Hopefully this roleplay can continue when I get back, and I am so sorry for the inconvenience)

As it was now lunch, Amy gathered her things and ran out the class. Not waiting for Jax, as Amy had no concern for him right now. Amy decided a walk outside sounded nice, so she stepped out the door and had a walk. 5 minutes before class, Amy started wondering across campus arriving in class as the bell rang she sat with her friends at the back of the class. She sat back and closed her eyes, she awoke when the bell rang. Startled, she grabbed her things. Computers were next and Amy decided to skip class. She skipped out of the building and ran to the dorms. Unlocking her dorm, she went in. as her sport was running she removed her make-up and changed. Grey shorts. green t-shirt and her grey, blue, white and orange shoes. Tying her hair into a ponytail she wondered into the kitchen, she ate a apple and packed her bag. Kyle's clothes, 4 bottles of water and some fruit. I texted Kylie, "Skipping class, cover 4 me? Got your clothes! <3" She heard phone and reached for "Will do thanks! Meet U @ bathroom after class! <3"

The rest of the day went by in a blur for Jax. He changed for his sport, Rugby, practiced with the team, and then went back to his dorm. He hadn't seen Amy since Homeroom, and he wondered about her, but decided that she might just need some space. Jax unlocked his dorm and stepped inside with Owen and Jesse, who were also just getting back from Rugby. They all changed, by this time it was 7:00 and the party must have just started. Jax pulled off his uniform, showered down quickly, and spiked up his fur slightly. Putting on a black top with a skull and dark jeans, he walked out of the dorm, into the forest and into the party. Everyone greeted him. The party never really started before Jax walked in. Someone leaned in to kiss him, and he turned so they met his cheek and not lips. He wouldn't cheat on Amy. Making his way to the makeshift bar, he grabbed a beer and chugged it, stepping out onto the dance floor and dancing to the heavy beat. 9 hours and 7 drinks later, not including some shots, Jax found himself shaken awake by Kylie. Sitting up, he groaned at the splitting headache that pounded his skull from the hangover, he realized that he didn't have a shirt or pants on, and was sprawled out a little ways away from the clearing in his boxers. Blushing slightly, he stumbled around, finding his pants but no shirt, and putting those on. "What happened last night?" he asked Kylie.

Amy helped get Kylie ready for the party. She set off and Amy wanted to go with. Amy just watched TV, Erich never came. Amy doesn't go to parties. She went to sleep concerned about Kylie. Waking up and getting dress, she peeked in Kylie's room. She wasn't there. Amy walked to where the party was. Kylie was making out with Jax. "Amy?" Kylie shouted. Amy shook her head, tears streaming as she ran away. She ran into her room, shutting the door into someone's face. Locking the door, she sat up in a huddled ball. Texting Erich to come over, she just sat there.
Kylie watched Jax pull on his clothes, cute. "I don't know but I'm going." she said. Before she knew what she was doing, she kissed Jax on the lips. Seeing Amy, she pulled away. "Amy?" she shouted. Starting to run after her, she suddenly knew what she did was wrong.

Shocked by the kiss, Jax reeled backwards, tripping over a log and watching as Amy ran, Kylie trying in vain to catch up with her. He sat there for an hour or so, watching the sun rise over the trees and pondering the kiss. Finally he got up and ambled through the forest back onto campus. His head seemed about to split, and as he got home he cursed himself for drinking so much the night before. Stepping into the shower still wearing his jeans, he rubbed his hand over his sore muscles over his stomach, wincing as they knotted even more. Slipping out of his pants and boxers, he shut off the shower, hung his soaked clothes on the shower spout, and wrapped a towel around his body. Stepping out of the bathroom, he peeked in on Jesse. The white lion Anthro was sleeping soundly, probably the cause of drinking too much, and lay still on his bed. Smiling grimly, he stepped out and checked on Owen. The badger Anthro was up, putting on shoes and grinned sleepily at Jax as he poked his head in. Jax's stomach knotted more as he realized Kylie and Owen were dating. Feeling awful, he nodded to Owen's monosyllabic question of, "Hangover?" and slipped into his own room, falling asleep immediately as he lay down.

Kylie was banging on the door, but the the sound of Erich filled her ears. Opening the door, she let Erich come in. Pushing Kylie away she shut the door in her face. "That was harsh, Amy." Erich said. "She deserved it." Amy said. She told the whole story, sobbing away. "Don't let a boy make you upset." Erich whispered. He was right. Getting up and sniffing one last time, she went to shower. "That's my girl." Erich said. Amy stripped and showered, using her Rain products. Jumping out, she walked into her closet from her bathroom and changed. Black skinny jeans, a pink vest under a see through pink cardigan. Putting on her blue uggs, she walked out. Erich smiled at her, "Come on, let's go eat." he announced. Amy smiled and walked out, grabbing her purse she walked out. Erich and Amy walked to the stables, Erich held her hand the whole way. "Shall we go on a date?" he whispered. Seeing Amy's shocked face, he whispered "Not a date, date silly! A friendly one." Laughing, Amy nodded her head. Jumping on their horses, they set off. Turning the corner, they saw a figure. Going closer, they saw who it really was.
