Jax woke up early, slamming his fist on the table and breaking is alarm clock. Cursing, he went back to sleep. He woke up to the smell of pancakes, stumbled into the kitchen, and smiled as he saw Jesse making his special pancakes. When he wasn't asleep, partying, or drunk, Jesse was an excellent cook. Gobbling down four, Jax slumped uncomfortably at the table. Noticing his mood, Jesse sat beside him, running his claws through Jax's fur comfortingly. Jax sighed. "Girl?" Jesse asked, though he knew the answer. Jax nodded. Hearing his phone ring, he got up, and, seeing that his caller was Amy, picked up immediately. Hearing her voice, he rushed over, opening the door and hugging her close. Seeing her sister, he smiled and held out a hand. "Hi, I'm Jax. Who are you?"

Amy pushed Jax away, "Snake!" Pulling her sister, Dina, into her room while Jax sorted the snake out. "Yell when you are done!" Amy shouted. Dina walked into Amy's room and winked at Jax over her shoulder.

Raising an eyebrow at the Goth girl, Jax turned to face the snake. Sighing when he realized it was only a corn snake, he nabbed it by it's neck lightly, letting it's scaly smooth body coil around his arm. He released the snake's head, letting it explore him and coil silkily around his shoulders. It was relatively small for a corn snake, still a baby, and a beautiful orange and white color. "Amy," he called, still holding the snake. "You can come out."

Dina and Amy walked out, "Eek!" Amy said. "Could you put it outside or do whatever you want with it. Just get it out!" Amy said. Dina sighed at the snake. 

Jax nodded, walking outside. Instead of setting the snake outside, Jax brought it into his own house. "Owen?" he called out. The badger poked his head out of his room. Seeing the snake, Owen's face brightened, and he took the snake from Jax. "I have an old cage we can put her in." Nodding, CJax said, "But she'll have to stay in your room. Amy's scared to death of her." Seeing Owen nod, Jax left, walking back into Amy's house. "All clear." he smiled.

"Okay thanks!" Amy said. "You know your way out!" Amy said, showing she didn't want his presence. When he left Dina spoke, "Your are rough!" Amy smiled sadly, telling her the story she smiled. "It's okay! Guess what! I decided to change!" Amy smiled weakly, "So nor more goth?" she asked. She shook her head, "I am taking you shopping tomorrow!" Dina smiled gratefully. "Sleep over?" Amy asked. She nodded her head. Kylie came later with pizza and they all ate. Kylie went to bed and so did Amy and Dina.

Nodding, Jax left. Coming into the living room, he sat down next to Jesse and Owen on the couch and watched soccer with them. He fell asleep on the couch, dreaming that Amy was a silvery white wolf that kept evading him, now matter how hard he tried to reach and stroke the white fur.

Amy woke up and showered. Changing into some American flag leggings, a pink t-shirt and a red top to go over that. She grabbed her phone and walked into the kitchen. Pulling on her sneakers, she texted Dina. Dina strolled in happily, grabbing her stuff they grabbed their keys and left. Kylie had gone and met Nick again, a hot blonde hair and blue eye boy. Amy and Dina went to the local mall and shopped. Dina got a whole lot of new clothes and so did Amy. Some cute dresses and some new high heels. Going home, Dina changed and left. Amy un-packed her bag, clothes went into the wash and new make-up went into the make-up bag. Dumping the new clothes in the wash, she phoned Erich. Amy heard him walking down the path opening the door, Erich shouted "Amy, babe! You look so hot!" Amy shot him a death glare and Erich shot her a play along look, "Thank you! I must say, you are looking very handsome!" Amy shouted back. Erich smiled and strolled inside, "Do you think Jax heard?" Amy grinned, "I hope so! He deserves it!" Amy told the quick story, Erich nodded. Telling her news, Erich grinned. "Can I meet your hot sister?" Amy laughed, "Of course!" Erich laughed, "Good! Also, I can't wait to see you in your dress tomorrow!" Winking at the end. "Good! I am hoping it impresses Jax." Amy replied. They talked a little bit later until Erich left. Tomorrow was school, so Amy wen to bed. Kylie was staying at a friend, so Amy was happy. Setting her alarm clock, she fell asleep quickly.

Amy sighed, "Okay, I understand. But I want you to understand that, Erich is my best friend. If you heard us shouting over looks then that was a joke. If you saw it, you would have seen my death glare. We were just playing around. Your true colors are coming out now, and I don't like this in a guy. To me, you are a quiter." she sighed again. Tears fell down, "Goodbye Jax. I always loved you." with that she closed the door and sighed. It was school today but Amy didn't go, Kylie was staying at a friend for the rest of they week. She was alone, alone just when she needed someone.

"Look, I only said this because I thought you and Erich were-" The door closed in his face. Shocked, Jax pounded on the door. "Please! Amy! I... I thought, well, it doesn't matter what I thought. I need someone to talk to, someone like you, in my life, and I just made the worst mistake I've ever made. I am so sorry, and," he paused to wipe tears out of his eyes, "Please believe me when I say that I am not a quitter, and that I will always love you." He sat on the ground in front of her house and cried, silently rocking back and forth and biting his knuckles until they bled to stifle screams.

Amy shouted through the door, "Well find someone else! It clearly isn't me!" Amy shook her head and watched some TV. She wasn't taking this badly. The next morning she woke early and went for a jog, then returning and showering she applied make-up. Eyeshadow, black eye liner, black mascara, some blush and some red lipstick. She smiled at herself, her eyes popped out against her pale face. She walked into her dark room and turned on the lights. The lights flickered on and Amy walked into her wadrobe. she couldn't decide so she went with a sight body hugging sundress that went to mid-thigh. She looked at herself in the mirror and smiled. She grabbed her bag and pulled on some heels. Walking out ad locking her door, she walked to the school. She walked along the hall ways and reached her lockers. She put her books in and a arm came around her waist. She turned to face Erich, "It's over Erich. We broke up." Amy said. Removing his arm, she turned back. "Aww, baba! I'm sorry, I didn't know. how are you taking " he asked carfully. Amy shrugged her shoulders, "Pretty well actually! I am already looking at some guys!" she paused, "Of course I miss him, but I know we aren't right for each other." Erich sighed, "Amy, if I know any better what your type?" he asked. Amy sighed and looked around, a boy walked down the hall ad winked. "I like that guy, always really have had a crush on him!" Amy admitted. "Alright!" Erich said. He strolled to the boy, damn it Erich! Amy smiled when the boy looked at her. He nodded his head and flicked his hair out of his face, he was cute. Blonde hair, blue eyes, tanned and muscular. Perfect. Erich came back, "You owe me a date with your hot sister! Because I just got you a hot date!" Erich and laughing, he winked as he handed over his number. Amy started a text, Hey, I am Amy AKA the girl you winked at! ;) What you doing on Saturday? We could hang out! Amy sent the text and he replied quickly. Hey Amy, my name is Niall. Free on Saturday, but not soon enough! ;) We could d homeowrk together after school! Meet you after shool at the fountain! ~Niall! Amy sighed and read the text aloud. The bell rang and Amy hurried over to class.

Jax was hurt deeply by her words, and ran, simply ran, as far into the forest as he could. Sitting on a rock, he realized he was lost, then smiled grimly when he realized that that had been exactly what he wanted. Knocking his head against the rock, Jax let his tears flow freely. They wet the stone and it glistened cruelly in the fiery light of the setting sun. Jax took a deep breath and tried to calm down as the sun gathered up it's last winking rays and plunged the world into darkness. He lay on the rock, looking at the stars come out, and as they shimmered into existence, he felt his sobs cease and a strange feeling of calm ease over him. The knot in his stomach untangled, and he realized he hadn't eaten since breakfast, and his muscles relaxed, leaving him limp and at peace on the rock under the night sky.

Amy sighed as she went through the school day.

A while later, Jax woke to the dawn light streaming over the trees. His back hurt from sleeping on the rock, but he cracked it and soon it felt better. Wandering back, he decided to skip school again, and wondered where Kylie was. Wandering past Lily, he stopped and asked her if she knew where Kylie was, since she usually knew everyone. Telling him, he thanked her, and walked back to Kylie and Amy's dorm, waiting for one of them to get home.

Amy wandered over to the fountain after school and saw Niall already waiting. "Where do you want to sit, Amy?" Niall asked. Amy loved his Irish accent and the way he said her name. She shrugged her shoulders and sat underneath a tree. Niall sat next to her and they began. Two hours later they had so much fun. They talk and laughed and said goodbye. Amy walked to her dorm with a smile on her face, nothing could make it leave. She saw Jax and paused for a bit. Her smile kept on and she walked past, un-locked the door walked in and shut it. She threw her bag on the table and flopped on her bed.

Fair enough. If you want to come with them, though, it's at the same place as last time, same time as well. He texted back. Then, after a moments hesitation, he texted, I'd like to see you. He got up from Amy and Kylie's doorstep, walked to his place, and changed into a pair of black jeans, dark gray shirt, and black leather jacket. Spiking his hair up a little more than usual, he made his way to the party, which was by now just starting.
