Annabeth smiled hesitantly as she saw the look in Liam's eyes. He looked so worried and concerned... Did he really care tat much about her? He'd only met her the day before. ''Uh... Dizzy.'' Annabeth replied, looking down giving a small laugh. ''What... happened?'' She asked, gazing back up at Liam's eyes.

"Well, you had this crazy notion to go cliff diving, then you were drowning, and I thought it would be nice of me to save you and all." Again. Liam thought. He was trying to sound calm, but his voice shook a little bit, "since I'm already going to be charged with kidnapping you, I might as well have you alive, so I can hold you for ransom." he forced a quick smile.

Annabeth gave a small laugh, smiling up at him. ''Yeah... I should probably thank you for that.'' She said, a spark of life coming back to her eyes. ''Pfft. Like my parents would pay it, even if you did.'' She planted her hands on the ground and pushed herself up, shakily getting to her feet. She was, by then, getting pretty cold, so started walking- or, rather, stumbling- in the direction she guessed his truck was in. She was actually walking in the wrong direction, but it wasn't like she knew that. ''Well, I'm dead if my mum ever finds out about this...'' She mumbled to herself. ''I guess I'll just have to make sure she doesn't find out.''

Liam sighed, "When will the madness end?" he teased, shaking his head, "Alright then, if you're feeling better, lets get a move on." He glanced up at the sky for a second, guestimating how much time until sundown. He turned his attention back to Annabeth and offered her his hand to help her up off the ground.

Annabeth took his hand gratefully, staggering to her feet. She didn't release his hand after she was stood up straight, though, instead glancing around as if she didn't realize she was still holding it. Which, of course, she did. ''The madness will end when everyone admits I'm the normal one and it's everyone else that is weird.'' She said, grinning.

Liam laughed, "well at least we aren't pretending I'm the normal one." he thought about pulling his hand away, but decided against it, instead starting to walk in the direction of his truck, a small smile on his face.

"A potted plant huh?" Liam scoffed, "I'd like to think I'm smarter than your average Bonzai Tree." he said with a laugh, "and I'd rather be smarter than more normal." He was somewhat glad that the truck was closer to the beach than the cliff they had jumped off of, the cold was starting to get to him.

Annabeth shivered slightly, instinctively stepping closer to Liam as she walked. ''Oh, I never claimed you were smart. Besides, potted plants might be smarter than people think. Some scientists think certain types of plants have a sense we don't have; they can, like, sense the energy waves of other life forms in the air or something.''

"Know what I'd like to think?" Liam asked, "I'd like to think that plants can hear us, so when you're talking to youself, you're really not, you know?" he realised he was probably making himself seem like a food, but he just kept talking, "like, plants are part of the earth, which is a living thing in itself. It may not seem logical, but I feel like everything is conected, like we are all part of one big organism." he finished wiht a laugh.

Annabeth laughed, closing her eyes for a moment to feel the cool breeze on her face. ''I getcha. Kinda like an Avatar type thing, yeah? I always thought that film was pretty cool. That there was some truth in there somewhere.'' She smiled, opening her eyes and looking at Liam. ''Besides, I think plants are the biggest evestroppers in the history of the planet then.'' She chuckled again, shaking her head in amusement.

Like, dogs born and raised in a Russian-speaking country respond to only Russian words, just like a dog born in an English-speaking country respond to English words. Or sometimes not even a country, just a household's language will influence it.'' Annabeth replied, stepping closer to Liam yet again. [[Lawls, there's this dog on my estate who's owners are these kids that speak Russian and English, and the dog only listens to Russian. xD]]

Liam laughed, "The dog doesn't 'Speak' any language, it learns. It associates words that its master says with what's expected of it." Liam was aware when she moved closer, and felt a fain smile play across his lips.
((LOL my friend Maria has two birds, one only picked up on spanish words, and the other only learned english, and you get these two parrots arguing back and forth in different languages XD its awesome))

"But humans learn their first language, but most speak a second, like I speak German, and they also learn the body language of every domesticated animal they come in contact with, and some know the body language of wild animals, and our means of communication is much more complicate." Liam argued back. They were only a few yard from the truck now and Liam released her hand, allowing her to let herself into the truck for once.
