  Cocoa is falling everywhere today for Chocolate Day!    Some have even fallen into the Atquati Shrine and turned it into a Chocolate Fountain! Palora and the citizens of Rescreatu have shown such delight in the fountain that she has decided to leave it that way for the next 14 days for everyone to enjoy. You might even find some chocolate items around the site, or a Chocolate Cache! Compete in a chocolatey Leaderboard! The top 50 players on the leaderboard will receive a Chocolate Splatter. The competition ends when the Summer Event closes, July 21st.   Cocoa beans and Cocoa Powder can be found in Explore and Random Events! (Dippable items that can be bought in NPC Shops are being limited to one purchase at a time for the duration of the event.)  Yooo! What did I say? Let's get this gnarly party started!! Thank you to all who have been helping. Why don't you kick back a little and enjoy some of this good grub? This is for anyone who pitches in to the Luau!!  Congratulations to those who made it on the Top 50 Leaderboard competition! That was incredible!! iooni inched into 1st with 20,310 points; OYA7200 landed in 2nd with an even 20,000 points; As well as Riley in 3rd with a tidy 17,000 points. Nice! All prizes have now been handed out. As for Your Choice of tu or Relking Coins: Please Rmail crowflux to tell them your choice! They'll send it asap.  I'm also hosting my annual Seashell Scavenger Hunts!  There are two scavenger hunts total. Find all the fancy seashells that I've hidden, and I'll make you a radical necklace & give you some Palekaiko clothes to wear at the luau. There's multiple prizes to choose from. Yo, my dudes and dudettes! Gotta say, you've been doing a radical job of helping us out this year - thank you! Heads up: The Gnarly Luau Leaderboard competition will be closing at end-of-day today, Wednesday, July 6th @ 11:59pm (Rescreatu time).
The top 50 players on the leaderboard will be awarded prizes for their efforts, which will be announced in a news update.
Remember, you can still keep bringing all the summer treats you can for points in my Luau Prizeshop, even after the leaderboard competition ends! |

 Hey, dudes. It's, uh, it's not great news yet - Kai still hasn't turned up. Not gonna lie, it's hard to keep on smiling when my best pal's not here to enjoy the fun with me. She means a whole lot to me, you know? I'm never gonna give up on my buddy!  Meet me at the Enchanted Springs and we'll start our official search there. Say, have you guys got a set of that sweet dive gear? I'm a lot more used to surfing on the waves, but if history repeats itself, I have a feeling we're gonna have to search under them for Kai again!  If you don't have any scuba gear I know they're being sold in the Fashion Galore. They've even been found while Exploring too. There are four pieces to collect, so no time to waste!     Kelp, Tiny Clam Shell, Tomato, Clam Meat can be found in Daily Rewards and Explore! Tomato and Clam Meat in NPC shops are being limited to one purchase at a time for the duration of the event.      So, listen fellas, stop me if y'all'd've heard this one before--but turns out that someone just dropped off a huge load o' scuba gear again! If yer willin' to help out gettin' me some new clothes, I'd be glad to get rid of some of it! Whaddya say? For the rest of the event, Cassie will award scuba gear items to those who help out with her Clothing Quest!  The Fashion Galore is stocking a new permanent line of trendy summer wearables!             Get an awesome MP3 player so you can always listen to music on the move, and with these vivid Varsity Jackets you'll look great doing it! There are even new freckles for those of you that may have spent a little too much time in the sun.         That's not all though! See if you can get your hands on normal & colored Leis and Grass Skirts- Stocking for a limited time in Fashion Galore. You can even make funky dyed versions! Head over to the Gnarly Luau Prizeshop to get the recipe for them if that tickles your fancy. Will you manage to collect all the colors?      Warren got another accidental shipment of chips this summer! So he's decided to hand that inventory to Kamea at the Sweet Shop! Chips will be stocked for a limited time in the Sweet Shop. Eating them will earn you a forum avatar each. A quick reminder to everyone: Please do not share solutions to the Summer Event in public spaces onsite, including locations of NPC exchanges and clues. Public spaces include the Shoutbox, forums, news comments, and blogs. You may Rmail a friend or Moderator for help. There is also an Official Summer Event Thread where discussions that include spoilers may take place alongside chatter, questions, help, advertising, and collaborating. | June 28, 2022 - Kai is Missing Again! |

Hey there! Uh, sorry if I'm not as pumped up as usual, dudes. Gotta be honest, I'm pretty bummed over here. My little buddy's gone missing again!! Kai went missing once before and, man... I swore I wouldn't let this happen to her again! She's my pal, I shouldn't have turned my back. What if she's lost somewhere? What if she's in trouble? Poor Kai can't miss out on the luau. She loves it just as much as I do... Do you think you could help me look for signs of her?     I know Kai had these with her before she disappeared: Her favorite biscuits, her toy turtle, and that shiny marble she loves so much. She also soaks in the Enchanted Springs to keep hydrated when she's up and about. So we should find slimy puddles of water wherever she has been. If we keep an eye out for these things I'm sure we'll be able to track her down. Keep gathering clues for now, and I'll give you the next steps very soon in a news update. Please, dudes, I really need your help finding my little surfing sidekick! |
