January 20, 2019 - Ice Tunnels and Divuin!

The Ice Tunnels are once again safe to enter!
Make sure to bundle up when you do it's a bit chilly in there!

Two new glyphs have been uncovered in the tunnels and some truly astounding effects have been witnessed! If your Eleodon or Tesuri companions are brave enough to travel into the heart of the caves with you, they can now obtain the frostlight effect!
     
Remember that you can only explore the tunnels with adult Creatu, and that only five Creatu per user can enter daily. The ice tunnels are stable, but we don't want too much traffic, just in case. Each Creatu has only five turns per day, but you can feed them ice apples for an extra turn. I hope you've been visiting the apple tree! Now I know you've been waiting for this, so get out there and have some fun exploring!
The Ice Tunnels will close February 3rd at 11:59 PM Res time!

The Divuin Egg Hunt is now open!
Once you start your hunt you will have 48 hours to search for eggs!
Make sure you click, "Begin Hunt." Otherwise you won't find any eggs.
Also make sure you click, "Explore Onward." Refreshing the page will help you find nothing.
The egg hunt will end on February 3rd at 11:59 PM Res time!

January 19, 2019 - Classes
This one is a big change - but one we believe is for the best. As of this moment, character Classes have been removed from Rescreatu. 

The concept of classes is a relic of the past that has not aged particularly well. For a long while now, classes have primarily served to decrease the number of activities users can participate in. The idea of having different classes may appear in again in future versions of Rescreatu, but for now, we felt this to be the best option going forward.

How does this affect you?
- All users now have 3 hatches per day
- All users can now open Merchant and Rancher shops.
- Merchant discounts have been removed from NPC shops for all users

Hopefully, this change will increase the amount of creatu and items available in the marketplaces, as well as help with Kir's Quest and help to bring Merchant Shop stocked items down to more reasonable prices. If you do not have either a Merchant or Rancher shop, we encourage you to now set yours up!

NPC Shops now also restock every 10 minutes instead of every 15 minutes.

If anyone notices any remnants of character classes around the website, please let staff know so that we can make any necessary changes.

January 17, 2019 - Minor Changes

Please be aware that the following changes have been made to Rescreatu over the last couple of weeks.

  • - Trash Isthmus now displays 100 random items when viewing. 
  • - We've added a "Quest Log" feature that allows you to track all in-progress quests. This page can be accessed from any item turn-in quest.
  • - Item turn-in quests now have increased rewards and completion times.
  • - Fixed bug in item turn-in quests that prevented item rewards from being displayed to users.
  • - Fixed bug on collections that sometimes made adding and removing items not work correctly.
  • - Added an auto-complete to the collection search field.
  • - Added a link to the item database from the item pop up in NPC shops.
  • - Added collections items belong to in the Item Database.
  • - Fixed the "total cost" and "current value" fields on the Stock Market transaction page.
  • - Added a keyword search to the Hatchery.
