Flamestrike looked back at Skypaw. He glanced at what she was looking at and ran over to her, shoving her under a cover of brambles. "Get down! Those are RainClan cats," He hissed. He wanted to scream out to them about their prey-stealing, but he clamped his mouth shut, not wanting to put him and Skypaw in danger.

[[Ohnoeee D: The drama e.e Heehee, alright then. Time to wake up all my kitties. Is every cat back inside the camp yet?]]

Dreamstone's eyes fluttered open. "Mmmnn... Another day." She muttered, and rose. Dreamstone plodded over to Nightowl and Rainflower, who were both still asleep. Dreamstone was mildly surprised. Usually she was the last to awake in the Clan. Dreamstone prodded both cats awake. "Come on, we have to patrol and hunt and blahblahblah." Dreamstone muttered.

Nightowl awoke to a pain in his side. He saw Dreamstone shoving him. "Owch! Quit it, Dreamstone!" Nightowl sprang up. "I'm awake!" Nightowl's eyes then widened. "Today is the day Coalpaw becomes an apprentice!" He said, and took off, running from the den, screeching Coalpaw's name. Dreamstone looked as he ran off. "Mouse-brain." She muttered.

Rainflower woke when she heard Dreamstone murmur something she couldn't comprehend. Yawning, Rainflower flipped over to lay on her back. "Gooood morning, Dreamstone!" Rainflower greeted the warrior. "Today, I think I'll teach Duskpaw some hunting moves." Pleased with her plan, Rainflower stood up and padded out of the den. Dreamstone followed her, unsure of what to do.

Coalpaw awoke to hear his name. He then sprang up from his nest. "Nightowl!" Coalpaw cried in shock. "What's going on? Is there an attack?" Coalpaw felt slightly ashamed to be the last cat to wake up. He ran out of the den and checked the camp. 'Nothing out of ordinary...' He thought. He then saw Nightowl running up to him. "Nightowl! What's wrong?" Coalpaw repeated. His friend bounced up and down. "Today is the day you become a warrior!" Nightowl replied. Coalpaw rolled his eyes. "Thanks for the wake up." 

Icepaw twitched her whiskers with amusement. Nightowl was still an apprentice in her eyes. She padded over to Coalpaw and cuffed him on the ear playfully. "I've been waiting for you to wake up all morning!" She exclaimed. "Want to go hunting one last time as apprentices?" She asked him, her blue eyes hopeful.

[[Hailstorm, Stormtalon, and Dreamstone are supposed to be on the dawn patrol. Flamestrike was going to tell Fallingstar about the incident with FrostClan crossing the borders, but he went out to train Skypaw instead so Fallingstar has to get his butt out there and talk to Sandstorm who is waiting by his den ;/]]

[[Pbbb. I'm sorry if Fallingstar is a lazy leader xD I was planning for him to wake up and then announce the warrior ceremony, but whatever floats your boat. -has been waiting to use that phrase- XD]]

Fallingstar awoke, scenting a cat outside his den. "Oh, what now?" He asked himself, padding out of the den. He gave his chest a few quick licks. 'Can't look bad in front of the clan.' He thought, and almost ran into Sandstorm. "Sandstorm! Good morning." He nodded his head to acknowledge the warrior.

Coalpaw whipped around when Icepaw cuffed him. "Owch, that hurts!" He cried out, faking pain. "Of course I would like to hunt!" He crouched down in a mouse-stalking position, and leaped onto Icepaw. "That's what you get for cuffing me!" He teased, and got off her, knowing that his weight may crush her.

[[Um, are Hailstorm and Stormtalon still inside the camp?]]

[[Sandstorm o.o you mean Shadowstorm XD]]

Shadowstorm stumbled back. "Sorry Fallingstar," She said and then twitched her ears. "I would rather discuss this in private," She said, gesturing with her tail to the other cats in the clearing. "It's highly important," She said, emphasizing the need to get him alone so they could talk.

Icepaw let out a small hiss as Coalpaw squished her. She stood up once he got up and indignantly shook out her fur of sand. "You only got me because I wasn't ready," She said and purred good-heartedly. "Come on. We should return early so we can get ready for our warrior's ceremony tonight," She said.

Fallingstar felt a small lump of uneasiness form in his throat. "Um, well then, Shadowstorm, we can go back to my den." He flicked his ear in the direction. "Come on." He started padding back into his den.

Coalpaw flicked his tail, and put the tip on her shoulder. 'That's what good friends do... right?' Coalpaw thought, seeing as he saw older cats do that action to each other. "Alright, alright." He said, and followed her. "Um, where are we going?" He asked. "The stream? The clearings?" Coalpaw was bouncing up and down. He was itching to do something, like charging off into the forest and bringing down the largest bird he could find.

[[They do it at night? o.o All the time? Ah, I never notice it when I read the books xD]]

[[I did write Sandstorm...I wonder why? XD..yeah, doesn't the leader say something about looking up at SILVERPELT and the warrior ancestors or something? It's always at night so they sit vigil o.o]]

Shadowstorm nodded and followed Fallingstar into the den. She didn't hesitate after he came in. "Fallingstar. Yesterday, I led the evening patrol with Blizzardpaw and Dreamstone. A FrostClan apprentice, Runningpaw, was hunting on their side of the border. The prey ran across the border, but the apprentice ran right through. The warrior, Frostwing, just watched the apprentice, and did not try to stop him. We chased them off, but what do you expect we do?" She asked.

Icepaw padded on thoughtfully. She thought of the best places to hunt and where the finest prey would be. "Well, if you want to catch mice, we could go to the RainClan border. The trees there have probably dropped their acorns and the mice will be out. If you want birds, I suggest we go deeper into the forest, where the trees are thickest," She finished.

[[Is it still night? Because last time I checked the time it was, it said 'night' o.o I just want to know exactly what is the time and weather so Falingstar could arrange the ceremonies]]

Fallingstar's tail started to droop. "Ah, so soon after the war?" He sighed and sat down, the feeling of being rested was quickly evaporating. He thought for a moment, then looked into Shadowstorm's eyes. "We do nothing." He said bluntly. "I am sure the apprentice did it on accident, and it was entirely coincidental that the mentor, Frostwing, dislikes EmberClan. Just because one or two cats dislike us doesn't mean that we have to take action." Fallingstar swished his tail. "But if this continues, I will speak with their leader."

Coalpaw raised his paw and started to pat her head in an awkward fashion. "You sure are smart." He noted, grinning so wide his teeth showed. "Well, I do feel like eating a nice and fat bird." Coalpaw stopped bothering Icepaw and started walking deeper into the woods. He paused. "You coming?" Coalpaw called. "I'm sure I can catch a bigger bird than you!"

Shadowstorm dipped her head in acknowledgement. "From my opinion, I think it is too soon to fight, but if it happens again, I would not cross borders. I would wait for the next gathering," She said and padded out of the den. She looked around for Scorchpaw.

Icepaw resisted the urge to flinch when he pat her on the head. "What, are you a twoleg now?" She mewed and butted past him. "Not if you don't get there first!" She said in response to his challenge for the biggest bird. She rushed through the forest, letting the scents and smells envelop her. She drank in the scents deeply and scented a storm on the horizon. She shook her head, hoping she wouldn't have to sit vigil through a storm. She shivered, but stilled immedietly when she heard the cry of a sparrow. These things were all over the place! She crept close to the ground, staying out of sight, as the bird fluttered through the branches. Instead of waiting for the sparrow to hop down another branch, she leaped and scrabbled for purchase on the bark. The sparrow gave a startled screech and flew off. "Mouse dung." She mumbled and released the bark, landing unsteadily on her paws.

[[Oh great, THANK YOU -super relieved- Now I don't have to spend 10 minutes looking up the warriors books for the ceremonies xD By the way, I think you missed 'catmint' in the medicine stuffs. I think it only cures greencough and smells nice]]

Fallingstar nodded. "You are a level-headed warrior, Shadowstorm." He blurted out. 'Whoops.' Fallingstar thought. Being level-headed was always what he wanted to be, to be fair and quick-thinking. Sometimes Fallingstar felt that he envied Shadowstorm, but he pushed that thought away as he followed her out of the den, eager to see the few rays of sunlight.

Coalpaw grinned again. "I just wanted to see what you would do." He replied, before sitting down to watch her catch the sparrow. "I think we should should move off to a different area, the sparrow's screech was rather loud." Coalpaw twitched his ears and started padding even more eastward. When he did, Coalpaw heard the rustling of tree leaves. He looked up, and couldn't believe his luck. A rather plump black bird was pirched on a branch, looking and cawing up at the sky. 'What a silly bird.' Coalpaw thought, as he crept slowly towards the branch the bird sat on. He sprang up like a coiled spring, and was high enough to snag the bird's wings as it tried to take off, bringing the bird down with him. It was still squawking and screeching when it hit the ground, as Coalpaw quickly finished it off. "Darn. I think we have to move again." He said to Icepaw. "But first, want to eat?"

[[Alright. I have to go soon too. Almost midnight. Again.]]

Shadowstorm let out a small purr. "Thank you, Fallingstar. I try my best, just as you have. You are turning into a fine leader," She said, still scanning the area for Scorchpaw. "Now, where did that cat go." She wondered, but her amber eyes were gleaming with amusement.

Icepaw scuffed her paws, still feeling down about the loss of the bird. She scanned the area, but the bird's shriek had scared everything with good sense away. She sighed and began to trude toward NightClan territory. Their clan did not border much of NightClan territory. It was mostly RainClan and FrostClan that were on both sides. She figured they would find some prey there. Once she found that she had traveled far enough, she pricked her snowy ears. Large wingbeats were heard up ahead. A hawk was circling closer to the ground on NightClan territory. Her eyes lit up at the prey. "Coalpaw," She hissed. "Come here and help me take this bird down," She said.

Coalpaw followed Icepaw's gaze when she hissed at him. His ears immediately flattened to the back of his head when he saw the hawk. "Ah geez, Icepaw." He whispered. "Always aiming big." He started to slowly stalk the hawk, following wherever it flew. "Come on." He flicked his tail at Icepaw.

Fallingstar watched as Shadowstorm walked away. His tail curled with delight. 'At least the Clan acknowledges me.' He thought happily, as he scrambled out of his den. 

[[Ah-oh. Fallingstar doesn't know what to do xD]]

An idea sparked in Icepaw's mind. "Coalpaw, do you still have that bird you caught?" She asked him excitedly. A plan began to form in her mind, but she didn't want to scare the hawk away with her loud voice.
