Plot

EmberClan, FrostClan, NightClan, and RainClan have just ended a chaotic war. Prey was scarce even in Green-leaf and tensions rose. StarClan have tried their best to send messages to their medicine cats to stop the fighting. The medicine cats came together and stopped the destruction of the Clans. Although, the war is over, the Clans are still not trusting the others.

The Clans

EmberClan- These cats are joyous and love having fun. They are fierce in battle and protect what they think is right. They are the Clan that did not want to join in the great fight, but were forced to when the Clan's ran through their borders and stole their prey. They are now wary of the other Clans. They live in a wooded forest and most of their prey is squirrels, birds, and mice.

FrostClan- Most say the cold winds from the mountains chill their hearts. They are fierce in battle and are always battle-hungry. They will do anything to get what they want and are always pressing EmberClan for more territory. Their camp is rocky, having being at the base of a mountain. They hunt mice and the hawks that roam, trying to catch the mice. Once in a while, they may catch a snow rabbit, but rarely.

NightClan- These cats are the most spiritual. They look to their warrior ancestors for everything. They are closest to the Moonfall and often seek help from StarClan there. This is the clan in which the medicine cat received the first omen to end the war. Their prey consists of rabbits, as they live on open moor. They feel at home under the night sky and the stars of their ancestors.

RainClan- These cats are well-fed and are much like RiverClan cats. They don't mind getting their paws wet and their camp is easy to defend. The live on a sort of an island that can only be attacked by the side next to NightClan. A large river blocks all other entrances to the camp. Only the RainClan dare to swim throught he river's current. Their prey is mainly fish, but they are trained to catch mice if it scuttles over the border.

Moonfall- A great waterfall that cascades off of the cliffs bordering FrostClan. NightClan are closest because it is outside FrostClan's border. The cats must stick their paws under the torrent of water to be visited by StarClan.

Season- Greenleaf

Time of Day - Dawn-Almost afternoon

Weather- Another bright day. Clouds are moving in now. There is the scent of a storm on the wind that will most likely strike late tonight or tomorrow.

Reports

Alliances - There are currently no alliances. Tensions are high between the clans.

Other - FrostClan is ruffled because they were found out about crossing the borders. EmberClan's decision about that is still undecided.

Herb List

ALDER
Reduces swelling and prevents infection when chewed and applied to a wound. May also be chewed by a cat with a toothache to reduce pain, swelling, and aid in preventing complications.
BORAGE
Leaves and Roots should be consumed to stave off fevers. Seeds and leaves should be consumed by the nursing Queen to increase available milk.
Borage should never be used dried, only green.
BURDOCK
Leaves may be chewed and applied to wounds that are clear of infection to speed healing.
Roots may be chewed and applied to a wound to draw infection from it.
COBWEBS
Gathered and pressed into wounds to stop bleeding. Generally only used with wounds that risk bleeding heavily as they can cause increased risk of infection.
FEVERFEW
Leaves can be used to reduce fever, in addition to being consumed to aid against colds and stomach ailments.
HONEY
Used to sooth the throat. Particularly good for smoke inhalation.
JUNIPER
Berries ease the stomach and can serve as a counter poison. Leaves are used to ease coughs and other respiratory problems.
MARIGOLD
Leaves and Flowers should be consumed to relieve chills.
Leaves and Petals can be chewed and placed on wounds to prevent infection
MOUSEBILE
Bile from the liver of the common mouse may be harvested and used to kill stubborn fleas and ticks.
POPPYSEED (WILD)
Seeds can be consumed to remove pain and aid is sleep.
Flower heads should be consumed together to relive continuous coughs.
Petals and Leaves should be chewed to aid in sleep and improve resting.
TANSY
Leaves, flowers, and Stems should be eaten together to remove worms.
Leaves may be chewed to relive joint aches.
Flowers should be consumed to remove coughs.
Pregnant Queens should NEVER be given Tansy, for it causes miscarriages.
THYME
Should be consumed to calm the anxious cat, or to aid in brining restful sleep.
WATER MINT
Used to help cure bellyaches.
YARROW
Entire plant should be consumed to induce vomiting.
Entire plant should be chewed and applied to wounds to relive pain and prevent infection.
CATMINT
Plant leaves are eaten to cure white cough, green cough, and black cough.

Apprentice Ceremony

Leader: All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the Highrock for a clan meeting. ( call the kit up to you ) This is a proud day for ( clan name ), by naming apprentices we show ( clan name ) will survive and remain strong. ( kit's name ), from now on until you receive your warrior name you will be known as ( apprentice name ).

Persona: Dreamstone, like her name, is very lazy. She loves to doze off and bask under the sun,and is often spotted sunning herself on a rock. Looks can be deceiving, as Dreamstone is a skilled hunter and an extremely fast warrior. Because of this, she is not very good in close combat, but she has a sharp tongue that has slashed many cats.

History [optional]: Umm, let's just say Dreamstone's life ain't a sob story. Her parents are still alive. No. They did not die in a fire/flood/wild animal attack/lordknowswhat. LIVE WITH IT. Blizzardpaw blinked the sleep out of his eyes and yawned. He stood up from his nest and shook the moss from his pelt. Icepaw opened her icy blue eyes sleeplily. "Watch where you throw that moss," She grumbled and Blizzardpaw poked her with his tail. "Wake up. Fallingstar is going to have the apprentice ceremony for Duskkit today!" He said. Icepaw curled herself tighter and Blizzardpaw began to prod her with his paw. "Fine. I'll get up," She hissed and Blizzardpaw's whiskers twitched with amusement.

 Flamestrike padded out of the warrior's den. He walked over to the nursery to visit Hailstorm. She would leave the nursery today and resume her warrior duties now that Duskkit would become an apprentice. He padded toward the entrance and stuck his head under the gorse. "Hailstorm?" He called.

 Shadowstorm's amber eyes gleamed as she watched the movements of the mouse. It scuffled through the leaves, looking for seeds. She crept up to it, moving her weight onto her haunches. The mouse froze and began to scuttle away. Shadowstorm pounced and bit the mouse with her powerful jaws. Its neck snapped easily and Shadowstorm let out a contented purr. "Nice catch," Her brother, Pantherclaw purred. Shadowstorm eyes gleamed. "Thanks," She said and picked up her other two mice. Pantherclaw bent to pick his sparrow and they padded back toward the camp. Shadowstorm flicked her ears. "We should hurry. Duskkit's apprentice ceremony is today," She said and the broke into a steady trot.

Duskkit padded out of the nursery on white/grey paws. She put a paw forward and tripped, folling flat on her face in front of Fallingstar. She scrambled to her feet after feeling the cat who was near to her and turned her blind eyes to the ground. She blinked, thoguh there was no need to because her eyes couldn't see anything anyway and mumbled an apology to the great leader. She wandered off, feeling the ground beneath her feet to tell where she was going. She sat down near the twisted tree of EmberClan, wrapped her jet black tail around her paws and waited for her apprentice ceremony...

Lifewing watched the pool of water in her den and stuck a paw into the running water. She sighed, rubbing her paw over her lean white body. She looked around her den at the stacked herbs, thanks to her apprentice, and took a poppy seed off the stack for Deatjpaw who had hurt his leg a few days ago. She padded out of the den, waiting for Deathpaw...

Hailstorm trotted over to her mate and twined her tail with his. "I can't believe that Duskkit is finally going to be an apprentice. After all thos moons of worrying whether StarClan would take her from us becausde of her blindness and now the day has come for ehr to be proud." She watched him with gentle eyes and then looked back at Emberpaw, "My two little kits have grown up." She smiled...

Deathpaw grumbled his agreement as Icepaw scolded his waker and then opened his eyes to see the cat standing in the doorway. He snarled and stretched, sheathing and unsheathing his paws. "Mousebrain." He hissed as he stepped past.He wandered aimlessly and found himself, a few seconds later, near Lifewing. She thrust the poppy seed in his face and suprised, he ate it. He limped abck to the apprentice den and sighed, he hoped even with his leg, he could go and train...

Blizzardpaw puffed up his fur and hissed menacingly at Deathpaw. "Who's the mousebrain that hurt his leg," He spat at him and unsheathed his claws. Icepaw nudged her brother's side. "Let it go, Blizzardpaw. Let's go get something from the fresh-kill pile," Icepaw said and pushed her brother under the gorse curtain. Blizzardpaw sheathed his claws and padded away from Icepaw.

Icepaw rolled her eyes at Blizzardpaw's cockiness. She jogged next to him before walking over to the fresh-kill pile. She took a small mouse for herself and settled down  in a patch of sunlight to eat. Blizzardpaw joined her, a sparrrow dangling from his jaws. She flicked her tail at him and he sat down. "You shouldn't let your temper get the better of you," Icepaw said to her brother and he twitched his ears in response. "Deathpaw's not worth it," She continued. Blizzardpaw shifted his gaze toward her. "Butt out," He said and Icepaw sighed. She looked around the camp, hoping to spot Coalpaw.

Flamestrike twined his tail with Hailstorm. "I just hope Duskkit will be okay. How can she ever fight another cat if she's blind?" He asked, frustrated. He let his tail fall to the ground. "Why would StarClan do this to her?" He asked, knowing there was no answer. He glanced toward the medicine cat den. Emberpaw was walking out of the small cave in the cliffs and padding toward the fresh-kill pile.

Emberpaw blinked her amber eyes and stood up, not bothering to stretch. She watched as Lifewing gave Poppy seeds to Deathpaw and smirked when he ate them from surprise. She walked out when he had cleared, not wanting to get caught in his miserable wake. She padded to the fresh-kill pile and found there wasn't much prey left. She picked a couple of mice from the pile and left the juicier bits for the warriors.

She padded back to the medicine den and dropped the mouse at Lifewing's paws. "I brought this for you," She said, her amber eyes gleaming. She wondered what they would be doing today. The storage of herbs were full and they didn't have any sick cats except for Deathpaw. He didn't really count, seeing as he could still move around. She yawned once and shook out her fur.
