Skypaw padded up to Flamestrike, an eager look on her face. "What are we doing today?" she asked, her voice bright and happy now that she was well-fed and well-rested. Her blue eyes shone as she gazed up at her powerful mentor, also the deputy.

Flamestrike looked at the small apprentice. "I'm going to show you the territory today," He said, but cast a look at the leader's den. The news could wait after the ceremony tonight. He looked back down at his apprentice, his amber eyes shining. "Follow me and keep up," He said before darting to the entrance to the camp.

Leafstorm sighed and wished she hadn't been so mousebrained to go hunting on her own. She knew the moment Stormfang came to tell her about the ceremony he would say...

"I told you so!" Stormfang growled, padding into the Medicine Cat's den. "Either way, Fallenstar was welcoming the newest apprentices. Some rogue kits. Earthpaw, Skypaw and Scorchpaw. I like the look of Scorchpaw, he's a powerful cat, for someone so young."

Skypaw nodded and rushed after Flamestrike, moving quite swiftly on her abnormally long legs. She dashed into the bushes where Flamestrike had disappeared into.

Flamestrike looked over his shoulder and found that Skypaw was keeping pace with him. She'll be a strong warrior one day. He thought and began to use longer strides, dodging the trees swiftly. He leaped over a fallen tree and skid down the edge of the slope into the gra.ssy area that was the training hollow. He sat and waited for Skypaw.

Emberpaw looked up sharply at Stormfang. She lashed her tail. "I would advise you to let Leafstorm rest. In case you haven't noticed, this wound could have been fatal," She snapped. "Maybe you should be worrying about her instead of rubbing her mistakes in her face," She said before dipping her paws back into the stream of the cave. She wiped off the bitter herbs and padded back to Leafstorm. "Leafstorm, do you think you'll be needing these poppy seeds?" She asked.

Skypaw bunched up her hindlegs at the fallen tree and leaped over it gracefully, landing with a small skid as she padded over to Flamestrike. "Is this it?" she mewed, looking around with wide blue eyes.

Stormfang dipped his hea at the fiery she-cat, "I'm sorry. But I did tell her not to go hunting alone with a fox scented in this area. Oh well, get better sister." He nuzzled her ears before padding off to the warrior's den, intending to take a small cat-nap.

Leafstorm attempted a nod and winced, scrunching up her nose. "Yeah," she gasped out, eyes slitted with pain.

Flamestrike cocked his head. "I don't believe I know what you mean by 'Is this it?'" He said, his whiskers twitching with amusement. "This, here, is the training hollow. This is where we practice our battle moves," He told his apprentice. "If you'd like, I could show you some battle moves," He offered. "Or I could show you more of the territory and we could do battle moves tomorrow." He said, knowing that young apprentices always wanted to be given a choice.

Emberpaw held out three poppy seeds up to Leafstorm's snout and let her lap them up with her tongue. "Don't worry. You'll get better in no time," She told the warrior.

Skypaw tilted her head to the side as she considered her options. "I think battle-moves are what I'd like to do today. Since I've joined this Clan, I've realised that life isn't that easy, even with clanmates to help you out."

Leafstorm nodded and closed her eyes as the poppy seeds created a euphoric effect that had her drifting into sleep in a few hearbeats.

Flamestrike's paws were swept out from under him, but he immedietly rolled onto his back and swiftly popped up behind her. He whirled around and lunged for her with lightning quick movements, pinning her underneath him.

Skypaw nodded and got up, brushinf her fur off. "I kind of started to use it once I realized that because I'm so small, even foxes won't touch me if I'm dead." She grinned at Flamestrike, "And I really do want to know more battle moves."

"Okay, but let me give you a little information first. FrostClan, NightClan, and RainClan are the three Clans that share the forest. FrostClan borders us to the east. They live at the base of a snowy mountain and they are ruthless cats. They usually underestimate warriors and apprentices by their sizes. This could be used to their advantage. They are usually stronger and more muscular so use their size against them. NightClan border FrostClan and they are the most spiritual clan. StarClan is their answer to almost everything. They are slim cats, but that hides their powerful muscles. They live on the moor, underneath Silverpelt. They are more agile and fast. RainClan border us and NightClan. They are sleek and well-fed. They are protected on their borders by a river in their territory. They catch fish for their prey and are more at home near the water. They are more muscled, but also speedy. With all of these traits, you want to use different moves against them. Depending on which Clan cat you are fighting. For instance," He stepped back from Skypaw and ran at an invisible foe. He used all his speed to slip around the foe while knocking it's paws from him. Pretending the cat had fallen over, he pounced. "That would work for a FrostClan cat because of them not being as agile." He explained.

"If you don't have any questions, try to think of a move that would work on a NightClan cat and try it on me," He said.
