Applesong trotted out of her den. "She trampled on that flower? Seriously?" she hissed, examining the little pink flower intently. "This is Firbloom, it only grows near fir trees," Applesong tilted her muzzle towards the great fur tree that marked the Terraclan border "There are very few on our territory."

"Well what's it good for?" Crowpaw asked.

"Well, this one isn't good for anything because it is barely in bloom." Applesong said. "They turn yellow when they're ready to be used as medicine." Applesong snorted. "And this one's been trampled so it's useless now."

"Well, what would a normal Firbloom do Applesong?" Gladestar asked.

"A Firbloom is a peculiar flower. Its properties for healing were first discovered by a kit named Icekit. He was always the prankster, Nightcloud told me." Applesong said "It turns the eyes of a cat green." Applesong chuckled. "Thus giving many cats quite the panic.  When Icekit's father had green cough, he was too young to understand, so fed his stash of pranking-flowers as he called them to his father, hoping her would get better. He had been beyond the point of no return, we all thought he would die, but Firbloom saved him." Applesong looked at the flower. "But if you eat it when its pink, or even slightly damaged, it is like poison."

Pepper took several bites out of the rabbit, then left the remainder to Venom, having had her fill.

Pinebloom shifted uncomfortably. "If I'm the most loyal cat in the clan, then we're all doomed" she muttered under her breath. She sat up straight. "We need a medicine cat, so maybe we should let her join." she put in louder. 

Gorsepaw nodded. She studied it for a few moments. It was very pretty. Well, except for the whole stepped-on part. She sniffed it. It smelled like... Fir. Well, that was pretty obvious, really. She remembered it, taking note of its shape and colours. Poison. Turns eyes green. Interesting plant.

Swiftwing nodded. She took quick mental notes on Applesong's words. It could be helpful one day. "What should we do now, Gladestar?" she asked, looking around.

Stormblaze nodded. He turned to Willowfrost. "You can take that den, over there." he mewed, pointing his tail to the medicine cat den. 

Willowfrost mewed, "Alright. I'm going to take a look at it." She padded to the medicine cat den and began to look over the supplies.

Pinebloom chuckled and licked Lunakit's ear. I wish you were a Darkclan kit... she thought. She pulled back, not wanting to seem weird to her clanmates. "First things first, we have to find Willowstar"

Gladestar stretched her claws. "Lets go claim some Oceanclan territory as our own before the other clans realize its up for grabs." she said. "Swiftwing, Crowpaw, you two are coming with me, the rest are to stay behind."

Willowfrost purred in amusement. She nuzzled Lunakit gently. "Thank you." she mewed, stepping out of the medicine cat den. She had finished counting herbs. TerraClan, as expected, had a very good supply. She knew that there would be many more, growing around, just waiting to be picked. But they had enough for now. 

Stormblaze nodded. "I saw her leave our territory, that way." he mewed, pointing his tail to the forest. "All I saw was her talking to a rogue or someone. But then I left."

Swiftwing nodded. She stretched and prepared herself for border marking. Taking OceanClan's territory would be fun. It would be a great addition to DarkClan, and was the perfect place to bask in sunlight.

"Okay, Stormblaze, you were always closest to Willowstar. You are in charge of following her scent and convincing her to come back." Pinebloom said. "Anariheart, you are much stronger than I am, you are to follow Marshtail's scent and bring her back. Pinebloom knelt down to Lunakit's level. "And you Lunakit, you have the most important job of all. You are to go to Willowfrost's den, and get nests ready in case either cats are sick. Pinebloom sighed. "Take it easy though, I know that ou're five moons old, but you're not six moons yet, and this is an apprentice job. If you get tired at all, you have to curl up in the nursery and sleep, or if you get hungry you are to eat the fattest piece of prey in the pile, Got it?"

Gladestar nodded and padded out of camp. It wasn't too long until she reached the newest border she created after the battle at the edge of the trees.  She scented the air. Oceanclan hadn't been here since they fled from the battle. Without hesitating for more than a second, she stepped over the border. "Those rocks over there look good for sunning." she said. "And that twisting creek will be a good place for the border, that way we don't get too close to their camp, they could still be lingering there."

Crowpaw nodded and trotted up to the rocks. He sniffed around the slate gray stone. He heard a rattling sound that he knew all too well from his nightmare. His fur fluffed up as he stared at it. Less than a mouse length from his paw was a rattlesnake.

"Don't move!" Gladestar hissed.

Crowpaw growled, keeping his eyes on the snake. If he moved his paws at all, the snake would see it as a threat and strike him.

Sugar scented the borders. But she didn't have to. She knew them by heart. Today was the day for redemtion. She shook water from her fur. It was still drizzly out. Sugar grabbed a stick and shoved it in between her and her collar. Sugar couldn't get it off. She gave a loud, exasperated sigh. Sugar sank her fangs into the leather and began to chew on it and tug. It sort of hurt the back of her neck, but she had lots of fur back there. It would be okay. Sugar's sharp teeth broke the collar soon enough. She threw it into the mud and buried it. No one would find it. She groomed her neck fur, which was happy that the collar was off. It always felt choky, but now it was okay. She spat on the spot where her collar was buried and headed for the misty trees, her eyes flashing.

Stormblaze thought for a moment. "Hmmm..." he mumbled, thinking about Willowstar. He tried not to get distracted by her. It was hard. She was talking to another she-cat. He thought about who it could be... A cat from The Band! Of course! Stormblaze froze at the thought of Willowstar in a Clan of kittypets. No no no!!! He felt panic pulsating inside him. His stomach lurched. It was all too much. Stormblaze pas.sed out.

Swiftwing looked around. The area was quite nice, but very soupy. She heard a rattling noise and froze. Rattesnake. How was it still here? She thought that all of the snakes around escaped from water-flooded homes. But apprently somebody had a perfectly dry den. She didn't move a muscle when she saw it at Crowpaw's paws.

Willowstar padded through the edge of her realm, once more before turning her back on it. Hearing a slight thump, she raced over, instincts of a leader taking over. Suddenly skidding to a stop, she found Stormblaze, on the ground in a heap. Looking at him gently, her heart twisted at leaving him. Settling down next to him, she sighed and purred softly. "So much like Elmstar Stormblaze.... Taking a nap here?" She whispered, throat constriced. She wanted to bawl like a kit, and tears spilled out of her eyes. "Starclan is cruel to seperate us." she whispered once more, and began sharing tongues with him, for the last time.

(( NO HE'S NOT DEAD YET U:< STOP TREATING HIM LIKE HE IS WILLOWSTAR! Lolz, That'd be funny if Willowfrost was medicine cat, and Willowstar returned (maybe :3) and then they'd all be like, 'o3o Jeez. Our parents were uncreative." ))

Gladestar carefully climbed on top of the rock, behind the coiling rattlesnake. Her claws unsheathed softly. She would attack it from above. She had more lives than Crowpaw did. Silently, She pounced with her front claws, down on top of the snake right behind its head. It thrashed under her paws, hissing wildly. It made her feel dangerous. This snake wasn't dying yet. "Move!" Gladestar snapped at Crowpaw, who was still shocked.

For once, Crowpaw though his leader was stupid. He growled. Avoiding the sharp, venomous fangs, he sank his teeth into the snake's neck, right under Gladestar's paws. Just to make sure it was dead, he thrashed it around with his head and sent it hurdling towards a sharp rock, where it was impaled, dead as the mouse he ate that morning.

"I have already figured out your warrior name young Crowpaw" Gladestar purred, licking the apprentice's ears. 

"Good job." Swiftwing mewed, impressed. "We can eat it." she added, grinning. "But first, we have to remember why we were here in the first place." Swiftwing said, looking around the territory again. It was quite nice, but not better than DarkClan's forest.

Stormblaze heard voices. Or, more specifically, a voice. He felt weak. But he found enough energy to speak (sort of). "Urgghh.." he moaned. (That was not clear! >:U Bad Stormblaze) His ear (the one that wasn't in contect with water) twitched weakly. Stormblaze got onto his belly shakily. He opened his eyes. "Willowstar...?" he slurred, vision still blurry from his sudden nap.

Sugar hopped over a rock and a few herbs. She ducked under a low tree limb and finally reached the camp. Cats. Scents bombarded her nostrils, strong and fresh. Many cats. Sugar was still hidden in the mist. They porbably didn't see her yet. She padded into the camp. "I seek Gladestar."

Willowstar half purred, suddenly rising. "Awake huh? Well..... I'll leave you to go back to... you know, Terraclan." The mention of her clan made Willowstar's words a bit strangled, and she slowly forced herself to turn away from him. Taking a few unsteady steps, Willowstar suddenly dashed through the forest, willing it to leave her alone, to let her go to where no cat's life depended on her choices.

(( YOU COWARD U:< *repeatedly smacks Willowstar*))

Dreamcloud growled. She wasn't about to let a kittypet barge into camp, seeing her in a weak state. "Willowstar went out" she said in a rageful calm voice. "You will not find her here." she growled. her lips twitched, almost snarling. "You smell of kittypets." she hissed. "Get out of darkclan, gladestar will not want anything to do with the likes of you."

Crowpaw marked the border at the stream which curved back to Darkclan. This was Darkclan now. His paws pulsed with happiness. He felt like he could take on all of Starclan with his clan behind him. They defeated Oceanclan! Drove them out of the forest completely! He was very proud of himself, and even more proud of his clan. 

Stormblaze shook the water from his fur. "No, wait... Willowstar!" he mewed. Stormblaze went to a depressed state again. "Wait up.." he mewed, rushing after her. After all, that was his job. Find Willowstar. Bring her back.

Sugar laughed. Her tail swished back and forth patiently. "For your information, I was born here." she mewed, rolling her eyes. "But I left. And you do not need to know why. That is my buisness." she added, not unkindly.

Swiftwing was marking the new border with him. She wondered if there were any more snakes around. Probably. OceanClan was the home of snakes. She continued to mark the border when a bird flew past overhead. It was a hawk. The hawk screeched, but continued flying.

"You will always be my leader." Stormblaze mewed. He sat down beside her, not wanting to leave Willowstar. They had gone too far for her to turn back. TerraClan was weak. "We need you, Willowstar." he mewed, ready to cry as well. Stormblaze shook himself. He had to be strong.

((When I said Willowstar, I meant Gladestar. DX I was so flustered that day it wasn't even funny))

Dreamcloud growled. "Get out of my camp you flea-bitten spawn of a mouse and a fox." she growled.

"No need to be swearing now Dreamcloud" Applesong said softly. "I am sorry," Applesong said, dismissing Dreamcloud and turning to the new cat. "She is mourning, what is your name?"
