Gorsepaw was back in the medicine cat den at some point. She had put away the Chancebloom and Trint-a-La. She sheltered the herbs a bit more, because there was quite a bit of water pooling up everywhere. She created a miniature dam-like structure to keep the medicine cat den dry. Rocks, sticks, and leaves proved useful at this time. She carefully placed them togther.

Eagletalon watched weakly as Gorsepaw created a block. He rasped, "I feel worse now." 

Gorsepaw froze. She exhaled loudly and turned around shakily. "Eagletalon, this should help." she mewed quietly, giving him some Trint-a-La and catmint. 

Eagletalon nodded and coughed terribly before eating the herbs.

Gorsepaw gave him a poppy seed. He would need rest. She turned back to the little block. So far, it was working. She began to get the water inside the den out.

Eagletalon ate it and curled up. He would try to get some rest. If he felt better, the medicine cats would have less to worry about.

Featherswift took her kits back inside and let them play. She looked at the rain. Let's hope their isn't a flood. She thought. She watched her kits play for a few minutes and thought about Hawkkit whil staring at the inch of water in the clearing. I've been a horrible mother. He wouldn't go if I was so mouse-brained. I should be punished not him.

Stormclaw waited for Hawkstar's response.
