Pepper nodded to Cloud and looked around. She didn't feel like climbing a tree to rest, so she went onto the porch with Cloud and sat on one of the little plastic tables that the two-legs had.

Hornetwing's pelt ruffled. "If anyone attacks, then we're dead, and you're leaving us." she said softly, averting her eyes.

Ashflight licked Shadowscar's shoulder. "Be my guest" she said "But I'm staying here for a while longer." 

Crowpaw's tail twitched. "Okay, Applesong, attack Gorsepaw like you're an Oceanclan warrior, and Gorsepaw, you defend. No claws, Go!" crowpaw said, sitting down to watch.

Applesong nodded. She growled and jumped at Gorsepaw, her paws outstretched. 

((Psh. Late post.))

 Gorsepaw blinked and slipped under her. Then she lept, hopefully before Applesong could recover.

 Cloud purred. "They're desperate for shelter. A home. They're too weak to fight, and won't be allowed back to their old territory." he mewed. "Of course they'll listen, at least for a little while."

 Nightstar turned to her, looking depressed. But he said nothing. She was too sad. He had been defeated. There was no point in talking to he, when his words came from a fallen mouth. His time had come. Nightstar continued to pad along. He had to speak to Cloud.

Hornetwing growled, a sudden fit of rage hitting her. "We're dead!" she yelled after Nightstar. "And you abandoned us!" she roared. She turned around and grabbed one of the last pieces of fresh kill, a handsome rabbit, big enough for two cats. And then she left. She left Oceanclan camp, and then she left the territory. She wasn't about to stay behind and watch Nightstar run away from his clan with his three lives so the rest of us could die.

Ashflight sighed and yawned. She was feeling sleepy too. She sat down on her haunches and then closed her eyes to rest, before falling asleep completely.

"Good job!' Crowpaw said to the medicine cats. "I think that's enough for today, let's head back to camp." 

Nightstar snarled at her. Fox breath. His tail whipped back and forth in hostility, fur bristling. He wouldn't go after her. She was just aiming for the Dark Forest. Nightstar thought of exiling her, but there was no point. OceanClan was three cats, if Hiddenpaw was dead. Now it was two. He trotted back to Cloud.

Smoketail huffed. Pathetic she-cat. She was stealing, really. Smoketail followed his leader. He would remain loyal to him, unlike Hornetwing. Smoketail was still OceanClan. He dipped his head to Cloud. Respect for the leader, whether he was kind or not, for the tom was still in a position of power. Smoketail's eyes were blazing. He licked his paw calmly.

Cloud raised an eyebrow (well, cats don't really have eyebrows, but you know what I mean). "Aren't there three of you?" he asked, tail flicking.

"The mousebrain left." Nightstar replied calmly, returning his gaze. 

"And who is that?" Cloud asked him curiously. He shifted on the porch, and let his tail dangle from the wooden thing.

"Hornetwing. She-cat." Nightstar told him. "She isn't welcome in what little is left of OceanClan anymore."

"Fair enough. Then she will not be welcome outside of the Clans, either." he purred, grinning. "You can go find something to eat now." he added. Cloud got up. "But catch enough for a few others, too." he meowed, stretching.

Nightstar nodded. It was a bit like the Clans, warriors and apprentices catching prey for kits, queens, and elders. He pelted off to find some mice or stray rabbits.

Smoketail went in a different direction. He headed to Twolegplace. Smoketail was sure that Twoleg junk attracted prey, because they threw away remains of food. He padded into a dark place, between giant Twoleg nests. Smoketail scented mouse, but it was stale. Then a fresher scent. More mice? He spotted one. It looked at him, unfazed, and turned back to the food bits. Smoketail caught it easily and quietly. That was a good sign. They would have prey all over Twolegplace. He sniffed around and snagged two more mice, bigger than the first. He padded back in satisfaction.

Nightstar was in a Twoleg nest's territory. He ate some catmint that was growing in the moist soil and began to groom himself. Nightstar got up and smelled rabbit. With a hint of Twoleg. He spotted the fat, white-furred thing. It was asleep. He tore through its barrier, which wasn't hard. Maybe the Twolegs just didn't want it to escape. They didn't count on sharp claws from cats, so the protection wasn't as good. Nightstar lunged forward and snapped at its neck, killing it almost instantly. The rabbit gave a weak squeak and went limp. Nightstar lifted it. The rabbit was heavy! He managed to get out of the twoleg territory and snatched a mouse eating crowfood. Nightstar began to go back to Cloud, proud of his catches.

Gorsepaw nodded. "Alright." she mewed, turning towards camp. Then she heard a yowl. "What was that?" she mewed, looking shocked. Gorsepaw pelted towards the DarkClan camp.

"Intruder!" Swiftwing hissed, tail whipping back and forth. She swung at the she-cat. "OceanClan scum." she growled darkly, eyes flashing in rage. Swiftwing lunged forward to bite her, and missed.

Willowfrost wasn't an actual warrior. But she landed a blow on her head. No. It only shredded part of her ear off. Willowfrost gave a yowl and rushed back into the misty forest before Swiftwing could retaliate. "I have to get to TerraClan." she whispered to herself, heading for the border. DarkClan was harsh.

Swiftwing lept into the forest, looking for Willowfrost. "She crossed the border." Swiftwing muttered. "To TerraClan."

Stormblaze was padding back to TerraClan camp dejectedly, looking very depressed. "Huh?" he mewed, turning to see a panicked Willowfrost blazing across the forest towards camp. Stormblaze growled. He went after her. "What do you want?" he hissed.

Willowfrost skidded to a halt, barely missing hitting Stormblaze. She got up. "DarkClan chased me out of their camp. I'm not living with OceanClan. I hope you'll have mercy on me." she gasped. 

Stormblaze muttered something. "I'll have to see what the others think." he snarled, no hint of mercy in his voice. Stormblaze and Willowfrost padded into camp. 

Pinebloom pricked her ears. "Who is this?" she asked. "She smells of Oceanclan."

Pepper purred in agreement. "I prefer rabbits." she said, flicking her tail.

Gladestar padded towards Swiftwing. "Are you positive that she's left?" she asked.

((-failpost- There wasn't much I could do, despite a long post)) 

"Hi Hawkshadow" Crowpaw said, coming into camp. "Have a nice nap?" His black fur smoothed as he sat down. Any moment now he would have his warrior ceremony, and Hawkshadow was his mentor. "Do you think I did well in the battle? I avenged Minkclaw's death, by taking Serpentbreeze's life."

"Marshtail and Willowstar are gone." Pinebloom answered. "Terraclan is falling apart."

Acornpaw's ears drooped. He was still in TerraClan! He felt sad.

Willowstar's post would break Stormblaze's heart. XD Stormblaze: ;.; But... But...))

"She doesn't wish to live with OceanClan, and DarkClan was harsh on her when she was there." Stormblaze gave a sad sigh. "It's just us three." he mewed quietly. At least he had Pinebloom. But Willowstar leaving made him want to die and never do anything again. He touched his tail to Acornpaw's shoulder. Stormblaze took in a deep breath. "You can call yourself one of the most loyal now, Pinebloom." he added, depressed.

Acornpaw rubbed a tear from his eye. He didn't want to be so sad. He was loyal. The thought cheered him up. "What do we do?" he asked quietly.

Stormblaze turned to Pinebloom. "We can still train Acornpaw." he suggested. "We can at least give him that."

Willowfrost gave a yawn. She stretched and smoothed a part of kinky fur on her shoulder. "I wish to join your Clan."

Cloud hopped off of the ledge. "They're back." he meowed, shaking droplets of water from his thick white fur. It was the first time that the rain had let up in a while. He was going to let it last. "Nightstar." he called. The Clan cats had found much food. They had a lot of prey around, anyways.

Nightstar couldn't talk. Fur was all over his mouth. He dropped his prey on the porch. Good thing it wasn't too wet, like the watery ground. Nightstar began to groom his pelt on the porch. He had messy fur and wanted it to be fixed correctly.

Smoketail put the prey by Nightstar's. "It was a good hunt." he reported, stretching. "You have a lot of prey around here."

Cloud nodded, acknowledging him. But his gaze was on the rabbit. "You can eat." he mewed, pushing the other prey towards them. He tore into the rabbit. "Pepper. Venom." he mewed, licking blood from his muzzle. Cloud took a chunk of rabbit for himself and left the rest for Pepper and Venom.

"Yes." Swiftwing replied. "She clearly trampled on these blades of gras.s and left her scent on this plant and this flower." she mewed, sniffing them again. Definately OceanClan. The smell of sand, water, and the war. She stretched.

Sugar lept out of her shelter, the underside of her owner's porch. There was a whole colony of insects there or something. She was full, plus the bugs and insects made her bloated. Fat grubs. Ants. Flies. Moths. Many things. She plucked an ant from her paw and began to groom herself on the porch. When she was satisfied with her beautiful white fur, she got up, stretching. Sugar would visit her birth Clan.

Stormblaze nodded. "So." he mewed. "Should we let Willowfrost in? I think that we can at least act like a Clan, no matter how small. And she can be our medicine cat, because she has all of that herb knowledge. We might know about many plants, but she knows what to do with them. I say we let her in."

Acornpaw nodded at his reasoning. It made sense. "Stormblaze does have a point." he mewed. "I agree."

Willowfrost nodded. "I guess that's the majority." she mewed, looking at Pinebloom. She dipped her head gratefully. "...Thanks."

Stormblaze nodded. A medicine cat would be helpful to their tiny Clan. He wondered how they would appoint her. Stormblaze simply dipped his head to her. "You are of TerraClan now." he mewed.

Willowfrost grinned. He wasn't their leader, but that was good enough for her.

Acornpaw mewed, "Yippee!" Since there was no group of cats cheering, he decided that one voice was all that they needed.
