This is probably doomed to fail anyways but I've had a lack of motivation for things [RPing/Drawing/Writing] lately and I've been trying figure out why/fix it. Hopefully something of my own creation will motivate me a little.

Setting

Reolen is a planet that is quite similar to Earth. It has cities, towns, mountain, forests, ect. Humans dominate the planet and the animals aren't all that different. The one major difference, however, is that it has never stopped raining on Reolen. The only way to tell day from night is that the clouds are silver-lined in the day and bluish in the night. 

Plot

The countries of Jin and Dake are at war and the small territory of Sel that they shared is torn and on the brink of civil war. The native Jins and Dakes are fighting on the streets and the Sels are just trying avoid it all. The violence is especially terrible at Selro Boarding School and around it's grounds. The kids, who've never seen war first hand, are taking sides and attacking each other. The officials try to contain it, but a small war is being raged in the background. 

Selro Boarding School

A large building with four stories and two levels of basements for storage and the kitchens and close to a hundred clas-srooms. It has several ballrooms and concert halls. It's grounds have several courtyards with stone walls, gl*censored* roofs and dirt grounds where plants grow. Students usually hang out here. The housing dorms consist of three buildings in a row. The two on the ends are three stories and have a group bath, a small kitchen, and rooms for the students (one building is for boys the other for girls). The building in the middle is a 2-level joint building where students can hang out. It has a lounge, pool, small library, and game room.

Country Differences

Jin: A country of plains and forests. Most Jins have light colored hair [blond/ light brown/ silver or white], light colored eyes [gold/silver/blue/green] and lightly tanned to dark skin. 
Dake: A country of ice and marshlands. Most Dakes have dark colored hair [black/ brown/ blue], dark colored eyes [black/ brown/ red/ violet] and have pale skin.
Sel: A country of stone and mountains. Since Sel has been shared for centuries, Sels often have bits of Jin and Dake blood in them. Totally pure Sels are rare and are only in ancient Clans that are careful to preserve their family blood. Most Sels have any color hair [only completely pure ones have red hair], any color of eyes and can have any type of skin color.

Several years later, his brother was drafted and went MIA a month after going to the front-lines.

He's a bit of a masochist and likes it when people are mean to him or pushes him around. He doesn't mind people being nice to him, but overly nice gets on his nerves.

Personality: Destery is somewhat childish, and he's rather sadistic, which might explain why he doesn't side with anyone in the war. He'll pick a fight with just about anyone, regardless of how strong or intimidating they look. He has this silly belief that if you think you're strong enough, you can take on anyone or anything. Instead of believing in a god, he rules out anything like that, believing in metaphysics instead. He's somewhat caring, somewhat careless rude. Although, he's mostly caring towards his family and friends. Destery is definitely not gullible, but he'll believe some lies if they're made-up well. He himself is a good liar, but whatever. One more thing: He's a bit of a goth, as well as a techie. Don't mind that, though, he's almost normal.

History: Gah. Well, for the most part, he's had a rather normal life, save for the fact that he's been taking care of his family since he was either fourteen or fifteen. His father wound up dead one day, and being the only man around, he decided he had to take care of his mother and sister. Although his mother tried to get him to understand that they'd be fine, Destery almost completely ignored her, sacrificing what are supposedly the best years of anyone's life to care for his family.
