Shadow pushed the blanket off the bed and away from him. "I'm mad. I'm stark mad." He muttered to himself and looked over. He saw Ace on another couch not too far away from him. She was muttering in her sleep and the look of her frail body made his mouth water. His coughs silenced as his instincts kicked in. Her pulse sounded like a drum-beat in his ears and he found himself in front of her, his face inches from her throat. His mouth opened wide, his fangs exposed. They brushed across her neck lightly and a shiver of desire went through him. He could barely contain the moan of desire that had clawed it's way up his scorched throat. Just one softtt bite...She won't feel itttt and i'll be goneee. like this never happened...He thought, his mind dulled. Just kill her already. The monster inside of him said and he snapped his focus back onto her face. Her fragile face. He forced himself back quickly, landing a good ten feet back from where he stood before. He stood there, paralyzed by so many human emotions he had not felt for decades.
Current Goal: Hatch a Black and Albino Shaefu. Get all Dye Kit Color Shaefu. 2 Dyes so far and 4 Shaefu Hatched. Thread up in Ads if you want to see what I'm selling.

Taryn rolled over and curled into a tight ball.She hardly noticed anthing around her she was in a dead sleep but certain things could awaken her such as the slightest touch of even a strand of hair.

He watched her as she curled into a ball. He flinched. He looked away. His eyes burned red. His throat was on fire. The fire still cackled from the fireplace and he focused on the scent of the burning wood. Then he walked over to the fire and watched the flames reach to his face, but were tamed by the grate that held them. He murmered to himself all night, trying to understand these emotions. He had no need to sleep, his strength never dwindled. He rested his head on his hands and waited for dawn.

Dawn came and Ace yawned and stretched.She felt her bone pop and shef linched it was annoying when it did that.To her suprise Shadow still happend to be there.

He turned around at the sound of her wake. He heard her bones pop, but his face was like stone. His expressions were hidden behind icy blue eyes. He looked up at her and away from the coal and ash that remained of the fire from last night. "I take it you slept well," He said, his voice strained.

He forced graphic thoughts from his mind at her question. "Whatever it is you do on a day like this." He replied and cocked his head slightly. "It has stopped snowing for a while now, I believe." He said and ran his finger through the dust on the floor, feeling confused about everything, but he did not show it.

Shadow digested this informational question. "You enjoy reading about vampires?" He asked her. Then a thought hit him. What if she's toying with you. What if she knows what you are? He shook his head and discarded the thoughts.

"I think the book Dracula is too hypocritical." He said. He had hated the book when he had read it. Hating the fact that it was wrong about most of the facts about vampires. "I've read plenty other books about vampires, but they were childrens books. Do you believe vampires and werewolves and stuff like that exists?" He asked.

Shadow thought about this. He turned his icy gaze to hers and looked into her deep, bottomless eyes. "What if that person could hurt you. Kill, even, if he lost control," He said, his voice deep and husky. He closed his blue eyes, hiding the red that was swirling in them.

Shadow bared his fangs. "Damn!" He said. "Do you know what I could do to you? Just last night, I almost killed you in your sleep. I'm not human. I'm an animal!" He said and a snarled escaped his throat as he inhaled her intoxicating scent.He backed away from her into the wall, not wanting to harm her. His face was contorted with different emotions.
