Ace answered the door seeing Shadow she said calmly"before i can do anything with that it'll ahve to be skinned."She felt her heart pound the faun was young and small she hated to see baby animals killed although she didn't show it.Unless you could see feeling in her eyes you wouldn't be able to tell if she was angry,happy, or sad.

"Oh, right." He muttered. He did not have any use for the meat so he did not have any experience with skinning it. He pulled out a dagger he kept hidden under his black coat and set to work. The fur came off easily since it had been frozen for quite some time. He hoped the girl did not notice that it had not bled through the process and had been sucked dry by the punctures near its throat. The gash in its leg could also be explained by the loss of blood, though. When the top coat of fur was off and its bare skin lay before him, he cut it into strips of meat and tossed the carcas.s to his right, away from the cabin. He looked up at her. He had been outside and the rank stench of the deer had blocked her smell. "Now shall we...erm...cook them?" He asked.

Ace nodded and beckoned him inside so she could cook the meat in her only little metal pot she found whileist coming upon a camp ground.She dumped the water she'd collected earlier into a pot and gathered some of the veggies she'd stolen from a near by farm at the very edge of the woods.Along withs some herbs she'd found and dumped them into the pot,cut up ofcourse.

Shadow watched her work silently. He sat down on her couch, hoping she wouldn't mind. The aroma of cooking meat and vegetables filled the room. He wondered why she came to trust him so easily and why she had not asked him even for his name. He sighed and suddenly, he did not know what to do. He had nowhere to go and up until now, he had been fine with that.

Ace let her meal cook and sat comfortabley on the floor but shifted to face him"So...what's your name?you don't have to tell me if you don't want to though...,".Ace looked into his blue eye and thought for a moment..."weren't they red earlier?" but she shook it off it really didn't matter.

He looked away. So she had noticed. He thought. "You must have been mistaken." He said. "My eyes have always been the icy blue they are now." He explained, but shifted uncomfortably. For some reason, he did not like lying to her. Not at all. "My name...it's er...Shadow." He said and wondered if she would laugh.

"Nice to meet you, Ace." He replied. He waited there, unsure of what to say. The awkward silence dragged on before he cleared his throat. "Well. You have your food and your firewood. It does not look like you need any more of my as.sistance. I think it would be best if I was off." He said and stood up.

He looked down at her. "Trust me. You would be safer if I was off." He said, but didn't move. His eyes flitted to the door before he looked back down at her. Her smell was beginning to grow on him. Almost like an addiction he could not get away from. He closed his eyes. "Trust me. I don't want to hurt you." He said.

"I don't mean mental pain." He said, though her being hurt was only a lie. If he bit her and drank her blood, she would give him, having feeling intense pleasure. She would want him more than anything else. Would want him too badly. That is why he usually drank from humans when they were asleep. Then, they did not feel attracted to him and he did not do something stupid and idiotic. He sighed. "Where can I sleep?" He asked.

He looked at the food with obvious distaste. "No thank you. I don't eat much." He said and then realized how weird that must sound. He shook his head and sat on the now pulled-out bed.

Ace just nodded finished her stew and sat on her couch/bed."Well i'm going to sleep now." She said while yawning.Ace dropped a warm folded blanket on the edge of the bed she got out for Shadow.

He wouldn't need the blanket, but took it out of courtesy. As he pulled the sheet over his body, he inhaled deeply. Her scent clung to the blanket so strongly, his throat felt like it had burst into flames. He coughed raggedly, trying to swallow his need. His fangs had slid out, glinting dangerously. He covered them quickly with his arm and kept his eyes down, not wanting to alarm her.

Ace has already started to fall asleep so she had no need to be alarmed or pay attention.She rolled alot in her sleep and muttered things like hi,no,yes, maybe,cool ect.
