Ghostpaw rolled her sightless eyes, "I can tell," she muttered, but she did feel a strange feeling of pride and joy at this new imstallment in her life. "It's very strange," she admitted.

Nightpaw nodded seriously, "I would love that," he mewed, his voice trying to control his excitement, with limited success.

Minxstar nodded to Icepaw, "Let's go hunting," he meowed softly.

Pantherclaw nodded to her. "Okay. Wait for me at the entrance." He said. He walked over to Shadowclaw and Ghostpaw. "Shadowclaw, I thought I would take Nightpaw out in the forest to work on her hunting skills. Do you want to come with us?" He asked.

Shadowclaw looked down at Ghostpaw. "I was planning on doing some battle training with Ghostpaw, but I think it would be better if she learned to hunt first." Shadowclaw said thoughtfully, then looked at Ghostpaw. "Ghostpaw, you don't mind if we go on a hunting party with Pantherclaw and Nightpaw, do you?" She asked.

Silentpaw looked up at his mentor. "Do you want me to bring another apprentice along to help us carry the herbs back?" He asked her.

Icepaw smiled, and padded over to the freah kill pile. Pulling out a small vole, he sat down, and began to eat.

Nightpaw gazed at his mentor with wide eyes, "PLease?" he begged.

Ghostpaw nodded, "It doesn't matter," she mewed non-commitedly, her blue eyes flashing, "I won't amount to much anyways,"

Emberpelt smiled, "I think we can manage, we'll stock up more when Leaf-bare nears," she mewed affectionatly.

Nightpaw grinned, "Score," he whispered to his sister, trotting after Pantherclaw, tail in the air. His black coat alreay looked scuffed from the ceremony, a dull black rather than a shining ebony.

Ghostpaw blinked and looked around in confusion, "I can't smell anything!" she wailed, "There's too many cats," She felt dizzy, where were Pantherclaw and Nightpaw? 

Eagletalon looked down at Gras.spaw, "Well, we ought to go hunting. The fresh-kill pile is starting to get low," he grumbled, nudging her with his paw.

Emberpelt stood up stiffly and stretched, yawning loudly. "Silentpaw? We should get going," she meowed, heading for the gorse-tunnel.

Minxstar grinned at Icepaw, "I'm going to show you the territory first, as it's going to be important in our later lessons," he mewed, nodding at Emberpelt as he p*censored*ed.

Stormpelt shook his head quickly, smiling at poor Icepaw's fear scent, "He'll make a brae warrior," he murmured to Ivypaw.

Silentpaw dipped his head respectfully to Minxstar as he pas.sed the leader and trotted after Emberpelt. He yawned as he went, but felt excited at the thought of going out into the forest. He felt like he was too cooped up in camp.

Ivypaw smirked. "If he can learn to control his fear." She said. She swiped her tail from side to side. "So, what are we doing today for training?" She asked her mentor. ((wait, stormpelt's her mentor right lol.))

Stormpelt cuffed her ears, "I recall, that when you were first made an apprentice, you were much the same," he teased, getting to his paws slowly. "But let's start with patrolling the borders. Perhaps  Eagletalon and Gras.spaw could come," he suggested. He was stand in deputy now that Waterwhisper was in the ureserly.

Icepaw nodded, trying to be sure about it, trying to look like he knew what he was doing... hopefully. He barred his teath at Ivypaw. He heard her skathing whispered comment. He would be a warrior, a brave one, he had to be.

Ivypaw puffed up her fur and pointedly ignored Icepaw. She glanced up at Stormpelt. That would be great." She said. She wouldn't mind going on a patrolling party.

Wolfpaw stood up, laughing at Icepaw overhearing Ivypaw's comment. He swished his tail in front of her face and padded off to find Leafstorm. He walked around camp and spotted Blizzardpaw. "Hey Blizzardpaw." He said. Blizzardpaw trotted over. "Yes?" He asked. "Have you seen Leafstorm, she promised to take me out hunting." He said. Blizzardpaw shook his head. "No, i've been trying to find Thornclaw for a while, too. He must have gone somewhere. Bye." He said and turned away.

Stormpelt nodded, "I'll go ask eagletalon, you wait here," he meowed, padding off to Eagletalon and her apprentice.

Eagletalon nodded at Stormpelt, "You need anything?" she asked curiously, glancing at her appertnice.

Stormpelt shrugged, "I'd like to know if you and Gras.spaw would like to come on a patrol of the borders," he said.

Leafstorm padded out of the nursery, Leopardkit walking by her side, "Wolfpaw? I can't take you today, Leopardkit isn't feeling well and I need to see Emberpelt." she mewed soflty.

Icepaw spared a last glare at Ivypaw, and followed Minxstar, head held high.

Thornclaw sat by a clear pool, he swished his tail lightly in the water. it had made him proud to see his adopted son be made an apprentice, but it made him feel old. He pricked up his ears, someone needed him. He always had these weird feelings, they usually meant that eighter something was wrong, or he was needed. He stood slowly, and walked off to find who needed him. As he stepped in the camp, he glanced around. "Who could it be?" He whispered quietly.
