Krystal rolled her eyes before crawling into the backseat and grabbing Parker's energy drink, then after she jumped back into the passenger seat and handed Parker her drink. "Early tomorrow evening?" She asked quietly to herself before looking back at Kaz who was already asleep and snoring like a hog.

Echo watched carefully as Xander worked with her wound, "I know, your just very protective of her" she said looking over at the Jeep of which Dev went then looking back she popped her knuckles. "Don't you worry pretty boy, I'll get back at you one day" She said giving a teasingly smile, "I'd have to disagree, you aimed right here-" she pointed at the spot a little above the wound then moving her hand down, closer to the ankle, "-If you would have shot here or-" moving her hand back up close to the knee yet a little at the side, "-here you could have easily taken me down and made me unable to do anything. There are sensitive nerves right in those spots that cause incredible pain and if you hit it just right, it can make the entire leg go numb."

"Tch." Xander ignored the comments Echo made. He didn't want to admit to his hesitation earlier, so he let Echo's assumption about his aim be as well. Normally, that bullet would have hit it's mark, but he'd made a hasty decision that was not in sync with Echo's movements.
Of course, the last thing he needed was this madwoman creeping around corners trying to shoot him in the leg now for revenge. It made him wonder if he should have aimed for the head in the first place.

Driving along a secluded road, the head lights lit up the drive to a large building surrounded by a fence. Parker pulled the Hummer up to a large gate with a keypad. She rolled the window down and extended out a small pale finger to press a red button. As the intercom feedback subsided Parker playfully shifted herself diagonally in her seat, craning her head out the window before calling "Housekeeping" into the microphone. She shifted her weight back into her seat, hands rapping on the steering wheel. She patted out a beat as she worked out the energy from all the caffeine she had consumed. She turned to Krystal and smiled really wide.

Krystal gave a slight grin back at Parker, sighing with relief that they got here without any disruptions. "How do you think the others will react?" She asked looking forward as two guards came out of the building and began walking towards the gate.

Echo saw Xander's reaction and rolled her eyes, then with a big huff she got up with one leg then gingerly rested some weight on the injured one, keeping still as the quick sting of pain came then vanished just like that. Suddenly hearing a large vehicle pull up a slight distance away she looked at Xander and stretched her arms forward, "Looks like you have some company" she gave a smirk then began limping towards Dev.

Dev looked in the rear view mirror and saw a hummer pulled up to the entrance. Dev figured it was Krystal and Parker. 'We better hurry up with Echo. It might be better if Xander would take her to get her things. I should stay here. Need to have a talk with the two.' Dev though long and hard. She opened the door and walked out.
Dev saw Echo limping towards her. 'Echo, stay with Xander. He'll help you gather your things. I have some things to do." Dev spoke quickly and walked away. The guards had open the gates for the hummer. Dev tapped the window on the drivers side before they drove in. |

Parker was pulling the Hummer into the gate as she watched Dev approach the vehicle. It must have been some time since they were all together, Parker could hardly remember what Dev looked like. She watched as the Base Leader approached their Hummer and rapped on the glass. Parker placed a pale finger on the window button and rolled the window down allowing the occupants to be seen with no cover of tinted glass. "Evening beautiful," Parker smiled widely peering out onto the grounds from her seat. "You came to greet us and everything! How exciting, I should have fixed myself up."Parker chattered on as she flipped down the mirror and adjusted some stray hairs. "You look fabulous!." she squealed as she turned back to Dev, seemingly out of breath.

Dev caught her breath and laughed. "I look fabulous? You crack me up." Dev looked at Parker. "Well you look gorgeous yourself." Dev complimented Parker. Looking over Parker she noticed Krystal. She was standing on the lttle step to help them in the hummer and Dev was leaning in the window with her non-inured arm holding her place. "Hey Krys. Long time no see." Dev said cheerful.

Xander didn't say anything, but grabbed Echo's things and slung them over his right shoulder ((I'm assuming her things are in a bag?)). Part of him wanted to let her limp all the way back to base by herself but the better half of him said he should help her out, so he held his left arm out to her for support.

Krystal gave a nod at Dev as she looked over to her, "Its been quite awhile, your not as short as I remember" she started teasing with a smirk, "Its nice to see you again old friend" she finished unbuckling and arched her back in a long stretch. Her bangs had fallen over her face, straightening up from the stretch she slid her hand over her hair flipping her bangs back in place, she desperately waited for them to drive in so she could hop out and walk around.

Echo had hesitated, not liking how weak this made her seem but quickly remembered 'I'm a part of a team now' and accepted Xander's help, "Thanks" she gave a small nod and continued heading for the base.

Dev smiled to acknowledge Krystal. "Parker go ahead and drive in. We should get you both settled so we can catch up and talk buisness." Dev told the general. Dev got off the hummer and ran over back to Xander and Echo. She grabbed Echo's bike to get it fixed by Parker. She didn't say a word to the two but looked at Xander to say 'We need to talk.'
She ran back with the bike and went inside the base. She pulled out her phone and texted Xander. "Get the information. Be discreet. Do not reply. Delete this message immediately. " Dev instructed. She put down her phone and continued on. |

Xander received Dev's text, read it and deleted it as instructed. He continued on like nothing had happened, leading Echo to the base. When they were inside, he brought her to a chair against the wall and sat her down. "I'll go put these things in your room, after that we're getting you something sweet. You lost some blood; you don't want to get dizzy and lightheaded." he said, as though it was an order. With that he walked off down the hallway toward her room.

Parker flipped the Hummer into Drive once again and rolled up the driveway of Dev's place. "We made finally, whew. Parker neeed sleep." She immatated a zombie like voice. She pulled the Hummer into the first bay of the garage, since that was the one opened for her she assumed.
Her interest quickly sparked when she spotted a motorcycle all banged up, what is that doing in here? she thought to herself. She gave Krystal a questioning glance as she placed the Hummer in park and removed the keys from the ignition. Opening the driver door she climbed down from the driver seat, and stretched her back and arms. The car keys jangling in her grasp, as her numb fingers let them go. "Whoopsie," she claimed as she scooped them up, "Strange, where did everyone run off to in such a hurry?" she asked out loud as she went around back to open the doors to get their things.

Krystal looked at the beaten bike then shrugged her shoulders as Parker looked at her. Jumping out of the car and bending back, she did her natural show off thing and went into a backbend before bouncing back up into a standing position then walked to the back-end of the Hummer, letting Kaz out on the way. "I have no idea, but seeing a few friendly faces would be nice. I'v not seen any members yet." She groaned looking around for everyone else and observing the building.

'Very friendly' Echo thought to herself as she watched Xander walk off. "For such an important agency they sure don't have alot of guards" She said quietly to herself looking around, half of her wanting to go exploring but the other half wanting her to please someone for once.

Dev grabbed Parker and Krystal's hands. Dev walked and smiled. "We need to talk." Dev pratically dragged the two out of the garage and let go. Kaz followed.

Xander carried Echo's bag to her room, where he set it on her bed, opened it up and sifted through it to find the flash drive with all the information she'd taken on it. She wouldn't be needing it anymore if she was going to be a part of their team. He pulled it out and closed the bag, making sure everything was in order inside first. Slipping the flash drive into the same pocket he kept his book in, he walked out into the hallway and headed back to Echo.
As he approached her, he noticed the eager look on her face. "If you still want to check things out, we can get you a candy bar and I'll show you around a little more. I don't feel like sitting in one place." he said. It was almost polite, but he made it sound more like he was the one who wanted to do something besides sit. Perhaps he was trying to make her feel more welcome though, since he'd be stuck with her a while.

Parker was suddenly pulled away from the back of the Hummer in a hurry by Dev. Now where did she pop up from now? she thought. Something was strange, but Parker was interested as usual. "Whats going on Dev? Oh my gosh is it a new mission? You already have one planned for us dont you? Im so excited." She looked at Dev with big brown eyes, pushing her glasses up the bridge of her nose.

Krystal had almost punched Dev when she had pulled her away not knowing it was only her. "Whats up? And where are the other members?" She asked looking over at Parker before looking back at Dev and crossing her arms.

'Guessing I'm still not trusted to go off on my own yet' Echo thought silently eyeing Xander, "Lets do it" she said getting up, not even noticing the pain in her leg. She stopped herself from walking ahead, waiting for him to start off, she would have to get used to other people being around now and not go off doing her own thing.

Dev smiled and ignored their questions. She took them to the computer room and stood in front of them. Dev explained the incident with Echo and then told them Xander was with her. Dev also told them she had a mission in the works but they should get settled first. "Any questions?" She ased.

Xander sort of lead Echo around randomly for a little while but stopped at the training room when he saw it. "When your leg heals up, you better be ready to show me what you've got." he said with a smirk, as he headed to the training arsenal at the back of the room. "What kind of weapon do you use?" he asked, in a more serious tone as he picked up each of the different training weapons there were and examined them. Even though he had seen these a million times, he liked to look at weapons.

Krystal glanced over at Parker then cracked her knuckles, "When do we get to see Echo and Xander?" she asked emotionless, then began wondering about the 'mission' Dev was working on.

"You better be ready for a tough fight then." Echo smirked right back before following Xander to the back of the room then looked at the different weapons. "I usually don't use weapons, I prefer physical combat. But I do however always have my pistol and dagger on me." She said looking down at her side of which had a holster then to her boot, you could barely see the handle of the dagger sticking out of it.
