Altair followed after Parker, rubbing the back of his neck before he stretched and wandered over to the crank he was directed to. "Just let me know when I should start the crank then," he responded with a small grin. As long as he was being useful he couldn't really complain much, could he? He was still doing stuff instead of ending up sitting around to wait for orders or whatever.After this maybe he could go get himself breakfast or something.

"Okay so,... If you just will crank that up all the way until you hear a click." Parker was practically bouncing at this point. "Then we will just position it here," she motioned to the Hummer as she lifted the hood of the vehicle. "We will then lower the crank ever so gently." She made motions with her hands and squinted her eyes in emphasis. The hummer had, had the star treatment. Everything had been reinforced, the windows were blacked out. Dipped black rims adorned the tires, everything was black on black on more black. "Krys you can help me move it into postion once we get it cranked up."

Without realizing I had fallen asleep on the stretcher. I woke up and rested my hand on my head. It was warm and it ached. I sat up and a nurse came into view. I looked down and I was still clutching the pain killer she tossed me earlier. I got off the stretcher and took a few steps. I stumbled on the third one but caught my balance. The nurse handed me my shirt that was left in the training room and smiled. I put it on and smiled back at her. I walked out the room and headed back to the training room. It seems that someone turned off the simulation. I looked around but my broad swords were gone. I rested my hands on my hips and I gripped my shoulder in agony. Putting my arm down I walked back down the hallway to Xander's room. I knocked on Xander's door.

Xander looked up at the door when he heard a knock. He glanced back down at Dev's weapon and wiped off one last smudge from it before standing up. While she was resting he had cleaned it off to save her the trouble. He opened the door, detaching the two swords from each other and held them out to Dev.

"Gotcha," Altair responded before he grabbed the crank and began to turn it. All things considered it didn't take a huge amount of effort. He was kept busy doing stuff like this most days, so it wasn't like all he did was lift weights or anything. Strength gained from aiding a cause was a good strength to have, he thought. Once the crank clicked he stopped, looking over to await the cue needed to start lowering it. |

"Excellent." Parker squealed. "Ok Krys if you can just help me position this." She grabbed one side of the gigantic engine, looking across the Hummer at Krystal. "Then after we get it just right, we will have Altair lower it...We'll get the chain off, ya know? I'll be able to hook everything up from there." She was always saying ya know? Like everyone knew exactly what she was going on about. Sadly, it was probably rarely that anyone did. |

I Took the swords one at a time and thanked Xander. I turned to my quarters which was right across from his and went in. I rested my swords on the stands and sat in a chair near my desk. I knew I had to tell Krystal about my injury but I might not be able to participate in missions. I sighed as I called Krystal again.

Xander turned and went back into his domain, closing the door behind him. He pulled his book from his pocket out of boredom and leafed through the pages. "Too many to count." he muttered to himself, closing it quickly with a quiet clap sound. He slid it back into his coat and lay on the bed, staring blankly at the ceiling. He could always use more training but he wanted to get into some real action soon.

Krystal simply nodded and grabbed the others side of the engine and waited for Altair to lower it, suddenly hearing her phone start ringing she turned her head and could barely make out the name Dev on the screen, dismissing her thoughts she turned her head back to looking at Parker and tightened her grip on the engine.

"There,thats it." Parker assured them as she had her hands gripping the opposite side of the engine. They moved it to just the right spot. "Okay now Altair lower that crank gently..gently." she was whispering at the end of her sentences,in full concentration mode. They would have this puppy up and running this afternoon at this pace. Parker was excited to show them all the bells and whistles as well. Just so long as she got this new engine hooked up. |

Krystal looked over to Altair as Parker told him to lower the crank, her grip still tight, turning her head just a little bit more she saw the name on her phone screen disappear and after ringing a bit the voicemail tone went off making the phone vibrate. 'I'll call her back after were done with this' she thought to herself as the phone went silent and looking back at Parker, she waited.

"Yeah thats good now." Parked called from the other side of the engine as they had finally gotten it into place. "Thanks for the help guys,couldnt manage without ya." she gave a big toothy grin. Turning her attention back to her work, she skipped off to get some tools to finish up the job. The garage was once once more filled with buzzing,and clanging sounds. |

(( I am SO sorry for not posting regularly. My computer totally went haywire and I usually have a limited time on the computer. I'll try to make this long but until Storm decided to make Krsytal pick up her phone this will be short. I've also been busy with other things but I will try to be on here and post regularly. ))
Since Krystal didn't answer I texted her "I was training with Xander and my blade flew up in the air and came down on my shoulder directly between the joint. Please, call me back." I clicked send and closed my phone. I banged my head on the desk for being so stupid and laid down on my bed. |

"No problem" Krystal replied with a slight smile then grabbed her phone a left the room once more. She looked through the text that Dev had sent her, then hit call and brought the phone up to her ear, hearing the calltone and waiting for Dev to pick up. Suddenly Kaz had come outside and sat next to her sniffing her hand, "What is it?" she asked him quietly as he got up and looked at her, then turning, he walked back into the garage where Altair and Parker were. "Crazy mutt" She mumbled to herself still awaiting Dev to pick up and looking around, as she leaned against the wall.

I jumped up from my bed quickly as I heard the phone rang. I swiped the phone with my bad arm and held back a pain filled scream. I switched hands and answered the phone. "Why didn't you pick up the first time?" I said as I stomped my foot in agony.

Krystal rolled her eyes glancing to the side as she heard the pain and slight anger in Dev's voice, "I was helping Parker with moving an engine into place" she replied with a calm voice, "Now what happened and how bad is the injury?" she asked looking up at the sky and watched as grey clouds began to move across it and a slight breeze moving through the air.

"Xander and I were training. I went for him head on and jumped up hoping to get him by surprise. I overestimated jumped too forward and fell. My blades were connected together so it flew up and just as I was about to get up the blade sunk deep into my shoulder into the joint. How bad is it? It's bad and I accidentally used to answer the phone," I paused and looked at my shoulder see blood spread across the guaze. "Now I'm bleeding through my stitches." I said annoyed at myself but calm.

Krystal sighed as Dev told her what had happened "Sounds like you wont be going on any missions anytime soon, you should go to the nurse and get something to make it stop bleeding, last thing you need is to lose blood" She said sternly as she stopped looking at the sky and walked back inside as the wind got stronger and the sky got darker with storm clouds. She nodded as she passed Parker and Altair then walked into her room, sitting at her desk and looking through a new email on her computer, silently reading it to herself.

Parker revved the new engine a few times, she had finished all the connections and topped the fluids off. Surprisingly it was probably the quietest hummer engine known to man, which was exactly Parker's intentions. She sat in the driver seat, smiling like an idiot, patting the steering wheel. She slid out, only to open the passenger door pressing a button here or there a lot was going on inside the vehicle. She had installed a fully functional navigation system, it had its own wireless net, laptops that folded into the back of the seats. It was immaculate to say the least. Parker saw Krystal catch her eye, and gave her a big thumbs up before she dissapeared to her computer. Parker slid out of the car, and exclaimed "Alright Krys lets go kick some butt!" from across the garage.
