This was the last time in a long time... right? He lead the couple to a booth and took their order, trying not to glance at Sterling. The uneasy feeling wasn't going away. |

((Mkay, I'll post then.)) His day off, and Seth was working on a tan. He knew he'd get impatient and end up running into the water, but for now he was laying on a beach towel, sungl*censored*es on and eyes closed. He still had a strange feeling, but had marked it off as nerves. He'd been thinking about Sterling, and their past relationship, a lot. The situation had gone so much differently than he'd ever imagined it. He used to think he would scream at him, hit him. But it had been like they were... friends. He sighed lightly, and let his thoughts go. Well, Sterling wasn't going to bother him now. |

Sterling laughed, shoving his friend playfully. He shook his head, his water flying out from his dark locks. "Shut up, Logan." He chuckled as he rose out of the water. The beach. It wasn't that bad here, not too crowded, either.

Seth heard echoing words, and opened his eyes, peering over his gl*censored*es. His eyes blurred thanks to the quick change in light, but as they focused he groaned. Oh way to go, Seth, you've gone and jynxed yourself. Instead of jumping up and leaving, he sat up and waved, surprising himself.

What am I doing? he thought to himself. I must be crazy. He raised a brow, cocking his head to the side. "Do you like our beach?" he asked. "Ever see the water so blue?" Well, it was sea green. But it was a little clearer than most were accustomed to.

Seth rolled his eyes. "Good job showing off," he said. "Travel there often, do you?" He couldn't believe it. Sterling was doing so well for himself. How was it possible that he was so happy when Seth was so miserable.
