pression on his face. ''Why the hell would you be stupid enough to sleep on the floor? You're a bloody human! You can't honestly think you could do that and not get sick...'' He began muttering curses in some dead language, Turning towards the fire and wondering if it needed to be stoked or not. Probably not.

Wyr closed his eyes and yawned. It was hard to think straight. Sleep was calling for him, but for some reason, he wanted to stay up and figure out what was making Exura so upset. Or angry, he wasn't sure if his host could get upset. "Why do you care so much? I'm just a human..." Wyr mumbled before drifting off.

Exura shook his head, sighing. If only he knew himself, he thought. He wasn't quite sure why he cared so much about Wyr. In fact, although the dragon would never admit it, the fact that he was doing something so illogical and without reason startled him a little. He chose to just sit down next to the fire, staring into the flames, where he remained for the rest of the night.
Well now. I should... Probably put something intelligent here. At some point. Eventually.

Wyr woke up slowly like he normally did. It was still dark out, which made him think that he woke up too early. Wyr stretched before opening his eyes. He nearly squeaked in surprise when he saw that he wasn't in his own bed. Before he could, though, he remembered what had happened the day before. Wyr sat up and looked around. He saw that Exura was sitting by the fire, watching it. Wyr hesitantly got out of the bed and sat down beside Exura.

[[Sure. Sorry for poofing earlier, my net just... Spazzed. Dx]] Exura glanced across as he saw Wyr waking up, but turned his gaze back to the flames. Of all the things he'd come across, fire was perhaps the most beautiful. When the kid walked over to him, he turned to him and smiled. ''G'mornin'. You al'ight?'' He asked, tilting his head to the side. ''I mean, are y'hungry or anything?'' He wondered if Wyr would accept any food he offered him, but brushed the thought aside.

"M'hungary," Wyr told Exura. "How did hunting go?" He asked after a second, not sure if he really wanted to know. Wyr blinked, suddenly realizing that Exura was smiling. It made his host look weird. Wye supposed that he wouldn't mind getting used to Exura's smile. He shifted closer to the dragon so he could lean against him.

Exura chuckled at Wyr's response. ''Hunting went well; I caught a roe buck.'' He smiled again as the boy leaned against him, glancing back to the flames for a moment. He didn't want to get up- for some reason, he wanted to stay in front of the fire with Wyr forever- but he figured he better get breakfast ready. Standing up reluctantly, he walked over to where he'd left the roe deer yesterday, and where it remained untouched throughout the night.

Wyr turned to watch Exura. For some reason, he wasn't surprised that the deer wasn't burnt to a crisp, like he expected he would. Maybe it was because Exura had put him in bed and how he had been acting today. "Do you want me to help you?" Wyr asked, getting up.

Exura arched his eyebrow, an amused ex
pression on his face. ''If you're sure you won't mind the blood and stuff, sure. Go right ahead.'' He picked it up and slung it over his shoulder, carrying the great beast easily over to where Wyr was sitting and dropping it down carefully in front of him, before kneeling down next to it.

Wyr winced. He didn't really like blood. He looked down at the dead deer for a second. "We're going to have to skin it first, right?" Wyr guessed. "Do you have any knives?" To tell the truth, he had never dealt with anything dead, everything already came per-cooked down at the village. Wyr didn't want to feel completely useless though, so he would try to help.

Exura chuckled, nodding his head. ''Obviously I have knives.'' He replied, but he didn't say it harshly. Walking over to his bed, he stuck his hand under it and pulled out a leather pouch. Opening it up, he handed Wyr a long, non-serated dagger from it, and took a seperate one out himself. ''Do you know what to do?'' He asked, looking at the boy skeptically.

Wyr hesitated before answering truthfully. "Not really..." He looked down before perking up. "But I can learn," he said quickly. Wyr bit his lip and hoped that Exura didn't tell him that he couldn't try. For some reason, he felt as though he was be seriously hurt if he wasn't allowed to.

Exura shrugged, deciding it didn't matter. He'd show him if he really wanted to learn, but it would be very gruesome, to say the very least. ''Alright, if you want to.'' He replied, slicing from the bucks neck through to it's stomach. ''You slice one long, clean cut, then you just get your fingers under the skin and peel it back.'' He proceeded to demonstrate, ignoring the blood that stained his hands. [[If you wanna like... Skip, feel free. Ty's likely to get pretty graphic if not. >>]]

[[Oh mi god, I'm so sorry It took me so long. My dad freaking broke my computer trying to instal some free non-windows product and I haven't been able to get on an actual computer or for nearly two weeks...]]
Wyr was proud of himself for not getting sick as he helped Exura. He had never seen so much blood before; he hadn't even known that something could hold so much of it. Wyr didn't think that he would offer to help the dragon cut up meat again. He turned the meat that was now cooking over the fire, glancing at Exura to see if he thought they were done.

He moved back over to Wyr and sat down next to the fire, glancing over to it for a moment. The kid hadn't gotten sick, in the least. Sure, he looked a little pale, but he'd fared remarkably well. ''You al'ight?'' He asked, just to make sure.

Wyr leaned against Exura, his side immediate heating up. He had noticed that about the dragon, he was always warm, not hot like he would have expected. "I'm fine, just a bit tired." He paused. "And bored. What do you do all day? Before I came here, I mean."

Wyr hesitated, not sure how to reply to the offer. He wasn't quite sure that he could take seeing Exura in dragon from. He really didn't want to risk their day-old friendship by freaking out about his other form. At the same time, though, it would be cool to fly... "I've never been that high up before, and when I climbed your mountain, it was dark, and I was paying more attention to where you were going, not where we were going."

Wyr was a tough kid, but dragons, he reasoned, might be frightening for him. ''We could always go to the river instead, if you want. I could teach you to tickle a fish out of the water.'' Tickling a fish wasn't exactly tickling, but it was close enough. Mostly he just used it in the place of fishing.
