Exura eventually shook himself out of his daydreams and fantasies of flames consuming all, and stood up, stretching his hands above his head. ''Well, I'm terribly sorry to say that I haven't the foggiest what to do with you.'' He said simply, a bored ex[injection]pression on his face. ''I mean, you don't look particularly edible, but I'm not sure. Besides, you're perhaps the first person not to run away or poke me with a stick.'' He chuckled softly, tilting his head to the side slightly. ''So, what is it you wish to be done with you?''

''I haven't a clue, kid. Like I said, normally you either all run off and get yourselves killed via wolves and or cliffs, or you try fighting me with a sword and end up dead that way.'' Exura shrugged his shoulders, and stood up, wondering what he could possibly do. If no ideas came, he guessed the lad would have to stay with him, and that wasn't the most appealing option. ''Well, I s'pose you can stay until we figure out what t'do with you, but no touching anything, got it? What's your name, anyway?'' He sad the last bit as more of an afterthought, figuring he couldn't exactly keep calling the kid 'kid'.

Exura rolled his eyes. Wyr really was a smartass. At this rate, he'd end up on fire within the week. There was a small upside to the situation, however, as the cat walked over to him and didn't try scratching his eyes out, like most animals did. Crouching down, he stroked it gently, looking back up to the human. ''I meant before you, mister Freakish Human, came along.''

Exura shrugged. ''If you knew, you shouldn't have acted like you didn't. Say what you mean.'' He sighed, wondering why Wyr was glaring at his cat. Maybe he didn't like it being affectionate to anyone other than himself, but that was doubtful. Or maybe it was just because he was a dragon that he was annoyed with the animal. It wasn't as if creatures such as himself were very well-liked among humans.

Exura had been getting distracted, but looked up sharply when he saw Wyr yawning out of the corner of his eye. Apparently, the human was tired. Understandable, really. Humans got tired a lot faster than dragons did, at least to his understanding they did. ''Are you tired?'' He asked, not waiting for an answer. ''You can sleep in the bed, if you like. I need to go out hunting as it is.'' He wasn't looking forward to having his sleeping area messed up by the human, but decided he'd put up with it. For now, at least.

Walking over to the exit, he turned back to Wyr. ''No animals should come in; they generally don't like the fire, or the fact that I live here, so you should be fine. I'll be back soon, leave or stay, it doesn't really matter much.'' With that, he walked quickly through the tunnel that led outside, and into the outside world.

Exura walked quickly, feeling for some reason that he needed to hurry up and get back to Wyr. He didn't know why he felt a slight worry about leaving the kid on his own, and put it down to not wanting him to mess up his space. After about an hour, he had caught- and killed- a young roe deer. It had been killed cleanly, a single arrow through its heart, very little blood visible. He slung it over his shoulders, easily carrying the great beast, and headed back to his home, dropping it down at the entrance to the cavern and looking around. His eyes instantly went to his bed, and was surprised to see it empty. Apparently, Wyr had decided to leave after all.

At least, he thought that until he saw the lad near the fire, a blanket over him. The scowl that had been growing on his face softened into a smile, and he walked over to him, wondering if he was awake. ''Wyr...?'' He said, his normally gruff voice quiet.

Exura sighed, shaking his head. There was no way the kid could sleep down there for the night; it was only going to get colder, and he'd get sick or something. Did humans get sick? Of course they did. All animals did. Feeling a little unsure of what to do, since he appeared to still be asleep, he glanced back down at him. Walking over to him, he sighed and crouched down, trying to see if he was still asleep. Yep, not much movement. ''Wyr? You can't seriously be trying to sleep down there.'' He muttered, sighing again. If he didn't wake up, he'd have to carry him over to the bed, and he wasn't looking forward to that.

Exura shook his head yet again, finally giving up. Wyr appeared to be determined to sleep down there, and he might have just let him if he hadn't shivered. He was definitely going to get sick if he wasn't moved. Awkwardly picking him up, one arm under his knees and the other behind his back with the blanket draped over him, he walked carefully over to the bed before setting him down on it and fixing the blanket. Well. That went... Better than expected.
