Alex decided he should at least wait for Adam or Markus to come back so that he could explain their sudden departure. He wondered if james had managed to get into his car alright, he had always had trouble getting into the p*censored*enger side. Everyone did, he usually had to help them. he knew he needed a new car, but was procrastinating, though he wasn't sure why. The thing was a piece of junk.

James rested his face on the seat on the car and looked out the window down at the pavement, putting his headphones in and turning it up as loud as it would go. He didn't want to talk to anyone right now and this would be the perfect way to avoid that. 

"Oh, sure." Alex said. "Sorry we're leaving so suddenly. James doesn't feel well, so he's waiting in the car." Alex explained. He wondered about the woman, who came to kiss random strangers at a restaurant? He didn't know. "So I'm taking him home." He turned to leave, "Money and everything is on the table." He said over his shoulder. When he got to his car her found James listening to his music, meaning he didn't want to be bothered.

James watched Alex come to the car and closed his eyes, hurry he thought to him. He suddenly did have a headache and he did have homework to finish. He tried to tell himself that what he said in the restaurant was the truth and he wasn't upset that Adam was kissing that girl. He felt the car back up and he waited until he was back on campus before he opened his eyes again. Alex had pulled right up to his building instead of dropping him off and making him walk. "Thanks Alex." He said as he got out.

James went up to his and Adam's room and climbed into his bed, pulling his pillows under the blankets with him. He sighed, kicked his shoes off of the end of the bed and closed his eyes. "I'm so stupid..." He told himself quietly for reacting the way he had.

James had slipped in and out of consciousness for hours now. Sleeping here and there, waking up to check the time and for Adam. She couldn't fall back to sleep for whatever reason and came out from underneath the blankets. No, still no Adam. He checked the time, 2:14 a.m.

 Where was he? He had never been out working this late and even though he was upset about him kissing someone he was still worried about him. He grabbed his phone off of the nightstand and proceeded to call Alex. He waited until he was about to hang up and Alex answered. "The hell! DO you know what time it is? its....." There was a ruffling over the phone. "2:15 in the morning? What do you want and can it wait until tomorrow?" 

James waited in case he had something else to say, then, "No, it can't wait. Adam hasn't come back yet. I'm worried." There was silence on the other end of the phone. "You haven't heard?" James frowned, "Heard what?" "Adams in the infirmary." "WHAT?!" "Yeah... they tried to tell you but you wouldn't answer the door so they told me. I tried calling but you didn't answer." James was quiet for a while, guilt rising up inside of him. "What happened?" "Apparently when Adam was walking back to campus he was jumped." "He walks?" "Yeah. Man, you don't know anything do you?" "Apparently not.... bye." "Night~"

James hung up and got out of the bed, he didn't care what time it was the infirmary was always open. He got dressed (( pic on the bottom )) and headed over there. There was no one in the hall ways, as expected, they were all asleep like normal people. He walked past the check in, there was no one there into the room where all of the patients were. He spotted Adam and walked up to him slowly, the scene from earlier playing in his head. But he pushed them away when he sat quietly in the chair that was available beside his bed.
