Adam nodded and wrote down the orders, taking a step back to bow politely. He then turned on his heels and strode towards the kitchen to hand off the food request before he moved around. He grabbed a cup, filled it with ice and water, then moved back to the table to place the water in front of James. He bowed again. "I'll return with your food shortly," he stated, looking at Alex before he straightened up and vanished behind the counter.

Markus padded up not even a second later, then looked around, blinking. "Where'd Addy go?" he murmured before shrugging it off with a smile and a little giggle. "Is Addy being boringly polite again? I don't understand why he bows so much, " he said, tilting his head curiously.

((Yup. Adam is more mellowed out.

James thanked Adam for the water quickly before Adam ran off again. He looked down at the cup, fingering the side of it. Alex leaned towards him over the table. "You ok?" Alex asked quietly. "Yeah, I am. I'm just not hungry right now." James told him quietly back.

They both looked up at Markus when he popped up. "He went... somewhere." James replied, "Getting Alex's order I guess." He said. "Why boring!! Is he always like this? He's so different when he's at school." Alex said, leaning forward as he spoke, a playful glint in his eyes. 

Markus leaned forward, his elbows resting upon the tabletop. "We sometimes put on shows, too, depending on if the customers request them," he replied. "It all depends on what the customers here at Fantasy Cafe!" He then perked up, looking back at the kitchen. "Mmm~ I smell a Special~" he said, grinning before he looked at Alex. "Did you order it?" he asked as Adam strode out, brushing his hair out of his face. "Oh! And thanks! I'm the Cheshire Cat. I demanded it when I was hired," he said before he got up and quickly skittered off with a little wave towards Alex and James.

Adam sighed softly, watching Markus scurry off. "...Ah... He needs to focus on his tables before he worries about socializing..." he murmured as he set Alex's order in front of him.

Adam chuckled. "He's plenty nice, he just extremely hyper. He has more energy than the Energizer Bunny after six cups of coffee," he stated, watching the 'neko' scurry around, waiting different tables. "But he's also fast, and his almost kitten-like personality helps keep people coming back."

Adam opened his mouth to say something else, instead letting out a loud squeak and jumping in his chair, startled, when Markus seemed to materialize again, his arms suddenly around the vampire's neck, the Cheshire neko grinning. "Markus...please don't do that..." Adam murmured, placing a hand over his heart as he exhaled slowly.

Markus giggled. "Sorry, Addy!" he said, patting his head before he paused, blinking. "Wait. I came over here to tell Addy something... What was it...?" He cocked his head, then his face lit up again. "Oh! A customer named Ellen said she wanted to talk to you! Even requested you by name!" he chirped before skittering off. "She's at table twelve!" he called over his shoulder.

How would James react if this Ellen just randomly pulled Adam down by his tie and kissed him? ;D))

James raised his eyebrows at Adam, smirking. "She requested you by name Adam." He repeated what Markus had just told him in a singsong sort of voice. "Oh, and nice... squeak thing... Adam. Very attractive might I add?" Alex told him. James glanced at Alex and then back at Adam. 

((He'd freeze and stare at her like a dead fish. He's gay, remember? XD And he'd just flat-out be in shock.))

Adam glared at Alex, his violet eyes flashing before he stood up. "I'll be right back," he told them as he moved to head over to the table. He bowed, smiling slightly. "Hello. I have been informed that you requested my presence, ma'am," he said. He let out another squeak as she suddenly grabbed his tie and yanked him down to kiss him. Adam's eyes grew wide, everything about the guy seeming to freeze, his breathing included, as he stared at the woman in front of him, his amethyst eyes almost like that of a dead fish, staring blankly ahead. The whole cafe suddenly went silent for a few moments before erupting in heated, gossippy whispers.

James eye widened and a cold shock paralyzed him as he looked on at Adam. The hells that?! James screamed in his mind, looking at the girl. He didn't see Adam's reaction, he was facing away from him. Who the f*** does she think she is? Kissing my... Adam wasn't his anything. ...roommate... He thought.

Alex was apparently thinking the same thing. "The... hell?" He looked at the two. "Whos that?" James couldn't answer, but realized his mouth was open so he blinked, taking a sip of his water looking down at the table. "And I thought our man Adam was gay~ That proves me wrong." He laughed, oblivious to James. "Usually Im pretty good at that..." He said.

"Yeah, well, can you hurry up? I have a ton of homework..." James told him. He decided to just wait in the car, not wanting to be around here anymore. "I have a headache... I'll be waiting in the car." He told Alex, leaving and making his way quickly to the car. He was mad, sad, confused all at the same time. He felt like crying, but he wouldn't.

He got to the car and tried to pull the door open, and failed. It car was beyond help or repair. He wrenched it open and climbed inside, not going to buckle this time and waited for Alex to take his sweet time.
