(No they haven't X3) Alex followed Markus quickly, feeling like he might just take his arm with him if her did hurry to follow. "Where are we going?" He asked, shaking his hair out of his face. James wrapped his arms around Adam, closing his eyes and chuckled at his comment on the two hyper active boys that had just left. He had no doubt they they would tire each other out, he pushed the thought away to make room for sleep and kissed Adam's forehead.

"My room," Markus replied as he stopped in front of his door. He unlocked it and carefully pulled Alex in behind him, flipping on the lights. He was quickly greeted by two cats closely by four little kittens. The female cat was an orange tabby and the male was a silver tabby. Three of the kittens were orange tabbies with dark grey stripes, and the last kitten was a silver tabby with rust-colored stripes. Markus knelt down to gently scoop up the silver kitten, holding her up to Alex with a warm smile. "Hard to stay upset with this face, right?"
(The silver kitten has really light blue eyes. C:)

Alex closed the door behind him so that the cats could or wouldn't try to escape and leaned against it. He watched Markus with the cats, noticing how he treated them. When he lifted one and showed it to him he couldn't help but smile. It was cute and he liked cats. "Very hard." Alex told responded.

Markus giggled, grinning at Alex. "Wanna hold her? And the kittens will be old enough to leave their mother in a few days if you want one!" he said happily. The kitten in his hands mewled at Alex, her tail twitching lightly.

"Sure!" Alex said, taking the kitten and holding it close to him. It purr happily, reaching up with its paw to touch his face. (XD My cat does this!! <3) Alex laughed softly, rubbing its head. "Do they have names yet?" He asked, looking up from the loving kitten to Markus. He didn't think that you could have pets on campus.

Markus shook his head as he sat down on the floor, picking up the adult silver tabby to place him on his lap, stroking his soft fur with a smile. "But the adult tom is Ghost and the adult queen is Ginger," he told Alex. "I grew up around cats more than I did my parents sometimes, so I became more...cat-like than most people can become. I can hear better, smell better, can see in less light, and I'm very agile and flexible," he said, then giggled again. "And I can purr. That seems to amuse people to no end."

Ales followed Markus and sat down on the floor a few feet in front of him, crossing his legs. He set the kitten down onto his lap just to watch it try and climb back up and get as much attention as possible. He smiled at it as he listened to Markus' story. His mind stayed one 'flexable' for some reason. "Animals are much easier to deal with than people..." Alex told him, petting the purring cat. She sounded like a mini cat motor.

Markus nodded, moving to touch noses with Ghost, who meowed at him and licked his nose. "Animals love you for you, not your looks or some other weird thing like that," he said, laying down to let the silver tabby lay on his chest and purr at him. "And you don't have to worry about animals leaving you alone all day..." he murmured, looking over at Alex. "But cats also have a sense of independence. And did you know that in ancient Egypt cats were revered as gods?" He smiled, tilting his head slightly.
(Alex is focused on Markus's flexibility, is he? ;D Wonder if anything'll happen soon~? Then Ally won't have to be upset over James not needing him anymore. Cx)

( lol Yeah, whether hes straight or not hes a guy <3 XD ) "I did know that." Alex said, nodding at the little cat before looking up at Markus. "And the cat goddess name Ubastet represented the power of the sun..." he had always found the Egyptians and their cats. he was so interested, in fact, that he was thinking about going abroad when he graduated college and study ancient Egyptians.

Markus nodded, grinning happily. "Did I succeed in my mission to cheer you up?" he asked, looking hopeful as he stretched out with a soft squeak as something cracked. He then rolled onto his side, resting his head on his arm with a warm smile.

Alex smiled warmly at him, "Yes..." He responded, "Thanks." He was quiet for a moment before he sighed and laid down on his stomach and rested his head in his hands. "I was thinking that James wasn't going to need me anymore. Now that he has Adam..." He informed the other, "I mean, he'll need me I guess.. but not like before. Ya know?" He asked, a little embarras.sed that he almost felt jealous about James' new relationship. "Like i said... its stupid." He puckered his lips and looked down.

It's natural," he told him as he moved to wrap an arm around him, giving the dark-haired teen a big smile. "It's something you're not used to and you need time to adjust is all," he stated, letting out another giggle as one of the ginger kittens padded up to start licking his nose, another one rubbing its head against Alex's. "See? The kittens want you to cheer up too!" he told him.

Alex was grateful that Markus understood him and what he meant, but he was still embarras.sed that he felt that way about his best friend and his best friend's boyfriend. He sighed, putting his head down on his hands and closed his eyes. "No, it's pathetic." he said quietly before looking at the cat that rubbed up against him. He nodded at it and it tilted its head at him, flicking its ear. (( lol as soon as I stop looking for this RP to move you you post XDD ))

Markus pouted again, giving a soft huff before he moved to nuzzle Alex and, in a timid manner, placed a soft kiss on the dark-haired teen's cheek. "It is not," he stated, still pouting at him. He lifted a hand to start playing with the again upset male's hair.

Alex closed his eyes and hummed softly as he felt his hair get tugged lightly by Markus' fingers and they moved through his hair. A small shiver ran through his body. He raised his gaze to meet Markus', "You're too nice you know." He told him quietly.
