Agree! Internet drops can happen, some people go away for vacation without signal etc. It's an unreasonable expectation.

Also, if its not possible at this time, could seat least 2have somesort of alert or warning (like the lamp for the hallowing tots or the heartfor the valentine requests) that shows/remind to/ if we have used the sprjngs forthe day?
(Something that turns on at reset time and off when we use the springs, and visible at the top or side menu)

I totally agree, it would be so much more convenient to just lose a few days / amount of days we don't visit then the whole streak, or even if we could have an item that would restore it of some kind

I agree, maybe a saved spot like at 25, 50, 75 ect. so if your at 86 and miss a day you go down to 75. that way you wont loose 700+ (just awful).

I 100% agree. I thought I had done it and was above level 60 and then to my surprise came back to level 0 the next day. I was grumpy for days lmty.

Support! And agree with Punk’s idea. Maybe if you somehow miss a day or the springs get reset then you fall back one to the previous tier? But definitely dislike the current dropping all the way to 0 just because you miss a day system.

BUMPPPPP! Had another glitch with the springs. That makes two in the last three months. It is exhausting and I feel horrible and annoying asking admins for help. First was it dyed the wrong selected pet without any new pages open. Then now it reset me on random. I remember doing everyday. On Monday when I supposedly lost my streak, I play every morning with my best friend. We like to play side by side at the same time. Its just frustrating. I hope admins see how badly the springs need an update.

This was brought up in the discord and Patrick responded to the discussion with such:
This year will be focused more on product feature updates as opposed to event-driven development. The frustration is absolutely understandable, and it's probably very near the top of the list left for most requested changes. Having that understanding, what I can say is that beyond fixing things that are broken (in the sense they don't even work, like egg market), I hope it's something that we will address relatively early in the year.
I think an obvious improvement would be just knocking the progress back a little, if a day is missed. Not losing the streak completely. Well, like Athena said, you don't want it to feel like a chore to log in. Whatever happens shouldn't feel punitive to such an extent. Honestly, something like this could literally cause me to stop playing the game. If I had worked for years to accumulate such a long string of success only to have it ended by one miss, or a glitch of some sort, I would be completely devastated. I like the idea of putting a player back a few levels for a miss, but a total reset would truly upset me to the point that I would consider not playing.
Please, please, please make this change to the game!

Could we also have better rewards for the tiers. The levels are so close in what they give. It would be nice if the higher level/more consecutive days, you get a higher chance of: tu, DK colors & random hatch colors.

I fully support this and the idea of a better sort of "punishment' or "wrist slap" for missing a day. I remember that I got pretty far into the fifth tier and the consecutive days when I finally missed one. It was the best I ever did and losing all of that hard work was so disheartening.
As f2p as I possibly can be, it feels like hitting a wall in the things you can do and enjoy on a day-to-day basis. Without my high consecutive days and the rewards that came with them, I had little incentive to come back every day and I really didn't want to restart all over again.
Something new to combat this issue would be really neat and I would really appreciate it. |
