The world has long since been cleared free of all dragonkind. Those few that remain have devoted thier existence to hiding. The time has come, though, for the dragons of the world to emerge once more and reclaim the pride of thier ancestors. There is a darkness, however... As the mating season approaches in the months ahead, an evil presence in the land to the north watches.... What is this power? Will it mean the end of dragonkind once and for all? Or does it have an ulterior motive in mind? We shall see....

She had heard the roar, felt the tremble of the ground as the world responded to the call to action. And yet, Atall was terrified of what was to come. It was weeks before she finally mustered the courage to step outside of the tunnel network she had dug. It was weeks more before she dared to take to the skies. Once she did so, however, she felt free again. It had been many many years since the last dragons had been out in the open air, her mother had told her of it. As the wind caught under her wings, Atall let loose a cry of joy. she then turned her attention to where the roar of summons drew her, to a valley blanketed in ground-hugging shrubs. hundreds of dragons were already there, a surprising amount. She landed on a rocky outcropping to wait out whatever was going to happen, and from the light tremor in the air, something was definately going to happen.

So.. much noise... Tempus grumbled as he was stirred from his slumber. his cav was situated in the Valley of Gathering, as it was being called. For the last two months, more and more dragons were arriving in response to the call that had been sent out. For the last two months, Tempus had gotten little, if any, good sleep. And that put him in a bad mood. He emerged into the golden sunlight, looking out upon the shifting m*censored* of dragons below. He gave them an icy glare that went unnoticed, to Tempus's utter annoyance.

     Shalbriri, his peaceful sleep woken time and time again through the night by the piercing sounds of the roars emitating from the Gathering Valley, was annoyed. Not just annoyed, furious. He hadn't been able to get good sleep in months. around this time he was to go back to rest for seven years, seeing as it had already been seven years since the last rest he had taken. See, he needed to rest for seven years, because it was the time when he grew. Out of his teeth, out of his skin. He was not a full grown dragon yet, and it would take many decades for him to be. And the only way, would be if he had the chance to grow, which he only was able to do every seven years.

     Deciding it was in his best interest to get some sleep, he dicided to fly to the Gathering Valley. why? Because, once he was there, it would only be a matter of time before the Gathering started, and  then he would be able to go back to rest. A loud growl rumbled in his m@ssive chest.He stepped out of his rather large cave, perching just on the edge of the cliff. He roared loudly, hearing his roar overcome the roars of the dragons already at the Vallrey. His roar shook the cave walls, and the ground rumbled beneath him. A few stones came loose from the cliff face, he could feel it. He unched his muscles beneath him and leaped into the night sky, spreading his m@ssive wings, creating a ginormous shadow beaneath him.

     Blue Flame's heard the sound of the roar. He sank back into the walls of his cave, fear overpowering his senses. Sure, Blue Flame was a very big, very powerful dragon, but from the sound of this dragon's roar, he could tell that the other dragon was older than him by centuries. And just this thought, made him petrified. Obviously this dragon would be a much fiercer dragon than any of the other dragon's he had met, and obviously this dragon was much more than he was. Once he heard the dragon take off, Blue Flame decided that he would go to the Gathering Valley with him. If a dragon like that was going, then he must go. So Blue Flame took off, his blue fire coiling around his head and spreading down his back.

     Jewel was already at the Gathering Valley. The noise of the other dragons didn't upset her, it was merely a sound in the wind. It was much worse in the human world, where there was not even a sound of wildlife or dragons. Just large vessles and hoards of weak humans.

Atall shivered as a cool mist slipped past her feet and... something else as well. Her attention was abruptly wrenched away as a huge, ancient male took to the air with a roar that shook the very erath beneath her claws. Yes, he was definately very very old, probably even older than she was.

Tempus was angry. Some arrogant male had just taken off and let loose a roar like he owned the valley. In fact, it was Tempus that had claimed this area, his scent was all over it. It already irked him that so many dragons were spread across his territory, but he bore with it for now, understanding that this was beyond his controll. This dragon, however, he was a different story. It was obvious that he was old and very powerful, but Tempus's age and power could match his.

Thunder shook the air as Tempus matched the fire male's roar. Electricity danced over his silver scales, and an echoing thunder boomed as he opened his m*censored*ive wings. He did not take off, however; unless the other male challenged him, he would not leave the ground. it did not prevent him, though, from giving off an impressive display of power.
