Atall glared at Nyara when she "accidentally" clipped her wing with her tail spike. When yet another ice female joined the gathering, she turned away with an acid hiss of displeasure. She looked to the others that were 'chosen', hoping they were somewhat better natured that dearest Nyara.

Tempus took notice of the new female and watched her with care. she held a proud air about herself, and it seemed as if she believed she had every right to do so. It was probably true, Tempus figured. he couldn't understand a word of what the two ice dragons were bantering about, but he could tell some scales were being rubbed the wrong way. More, angry females, Tempus thought, glancing again to the earth female. The only one that seemed to be completely at peace with everyone was the white-gold female. With a sigh, Tempus broek between the conversation of the two ice dragons and said,

"If I heard the king correctly we have a destiny to fullfill. Perhaps we should get going considering we only have three months to make it all the way to the northern continent."

TYPICAL??! Nyara's eyes widened in rage as she stared at the other dragon What did you just say to me! She was very angry now and the rage was threatening to burst from her like a volcano...

(that could actually be interesting, making all the 'chosen' be able to hear each other's thoughts :D I LIKE IT!! )

Tempus's eyes widened in shock as he heard Nyara's reply to his.. thought? What?! He shook his head, as if to clear it. Maybe he was hearing things, that must be it.

"Did he say something about a 'link of Destiny?'" she asked with a slight tilt of broud head. She wrapped her spiked tail around her body and stared at him. As she did so, all the anger she had felt, flowed out of her...

Tempus looked at Nyara and nodded, wondering why she was satring at him like that. As he returned hi sattention to the rest of the group, he snorted his irritation at thier lack of activity and announced, "even if none of you are going to do this, I am. When I am charged with something I do all I can to fullfill the task that is given to me." Without further ado, he turned away, shifting his m*censored*ive wings in preparation for takeoff. It was going to be a long flight and the others would have plenty of time to catch up should they finally decide to follow. The King never said, afterall, that all of them were going to reach the final goal.

That female, Nyara, was following him. Hmph, he thought, at least one of them recognises the importance of this. He turned his head towards the northern horizon. While watching that thin line, Tempus could sense what the king had been talking about, an ominous presence far to the north, threatening the very existence of dragonkind. It made him shiver to hink about it, but he kept his reserve and flew on.

Atall watched as one of the ice females followed the storm drake. Good riddance, she silently fumed. Despite her dislike of both ice dragons, Atall could not deny the truth in the storm dragon's words. With a final look at the other dragons, Atall invoked her earthly powers and sank into the ground. It was a long journey and she owuld have to rest often, but she foudn it much more preferble to travel underground where none would notice her rather than in the air where every fool could spot her.

     Jewel took off, annoyed at the female ice dragons. Ice dragons are so irritable. She noted. I'm going to have to be careful around them. She snickered, before leaping off the ground, not having to flap her wings at all. One with the wind, one with the wind. She closed her eyes, rpeating this thought over and over. Flapping her wings once, she zoomed forward, appearing right by all the other chosen dragons. No, she did not teleport. Yes, she was the air dragon, and the air made her go fast and far.

     Blue Flame's eyes shone blue, and the flames around his body leaped higher as he prepared to take off. A large roar came from his throat, and many dragons turned to stare at the once-quiet dragon. Surprise, surprise. The fire dragon actually talks. He thought to himself sarcasticly. His wings flapped once, and he was in the air, and each wing stroke brought him farther, with a streak of blue streaming after him. Although he wanted to fly off toone side, the side where there was less trees bellow(he didn't enjoy burning the tops of trees with his tail), he couldn't get himself to move. He didn't want to let Atall out of his sight. Why? He had no idea.

     Shabriri didn't know what to do. Or say, for that matter. It was his resting time, and his senses were a bit dull. He needed his seven years of sleep, but that would have to wait. He could wait a few seasons. Grumbling to himself, he took off, the dragons still left in the clearing making way for him. They did not want to get hit by his large wings. Even though he was weaker than normal, he still was strong. A few moments later he was off, his body creating a shadow across the trees. His cloudy red eyes staring straight ahead, not focusing on anything. He kept to himself.

Tempus grumbled in satisfaction as he sensed more that heard or saw the other 'chosen' following him. His throat rumbled and he let loose a thunderous roar, a tribute to the start of thier journey.

Atall dove through the ground as if it were water, jumping out in a burst of dirt and plants before diving under again, like some kind of earth dolphin. She could feel Tempus's roar as its sound vibrated through the earth and as she came up again, she saw that three more had joined the journey. Good, she thought. This will makes things much simpler should we find any trouble. As if on cue, a m*censored*ive tremor ripped itself towards her. She felt it only a few meters away and frantically surfaced, exploding into flight. Where she had just been was now a giant rip in the ground, as if some huge claw had slashed at it. Off in the distance, she felt that evil presence again, watchign them, urging them closer.... "Perhaps this won't be as simple as I thought", she muttered.

(hmm, I've got something X3 *muah ha ha + more evil laughter* )

Atall felt another tremor, this time in the air. she glanced up, her heart plummeting to the pit of her stomach as she saw what was forming just overhead. Clouds swirled, gathering in one big ball. Energy crackled along the outside of the shell, for that was what it was. The sky split in a peal of thunder as the cloud-shell cracked, revealing a shifting m*censored* of scales. Guargantuan wings smothered the air as the black dragon was born, a creature made of pure darkness and malice. Its eyes smoldered with a crimson energy that was unnatural, and they were focused on the small flight of dragons beneath it. With a cry of horror, Atall spun away, diving towards the ground in order to increase the distance between herself and that... thing. how the others would react, she did not know.

ABOMINATION, was the word that screamed through Tempus's head as he could do nothing but watch that gigantic monstrosity be spit out from the sky's womb. It was definately a storm dragon, but not one that Tempus had ever come across before. The earth dragon, Atall, had amde the wise decision of flying a ways off, but Tempus decided upon a different approach. Rather that diving towards the ground, he pounded at the electrified air with his wings, muscles starining against the angry wind that had picked up otu of nowhere. He then caught a current going the opposite direction and rode it until it died, taking him to a point higher in altitude than the flying monster. With a roar that was more like a battle-cry than anythign else, Tempus waited for the beast to do something.

     Jewel gave a shreik, her sparkling eyes wide with fear. She pushed her wings down, zhipping foraward with all the speed she had as an air dragon. Zipping past the black dragon, and by all the other dragons, she only paused to stare at the black cloud above the storm dragon.

      Shalbriri didn't know what to do. He was faced with the want to fly away, and the instinct to fight. What to do, what to do. It was always a question that seemed to be flating around his head. Giving a m*censored*ive roar, he decided. He tucked in his wings, quickly losing altitude, his large frame plunging toward the ground. Soaring just above the tree tops, he tried to avoid the storm dragon.

     Blue Flame's piercing call echoed through the side. Blue fire erupted from his nostrils, and the firey mane around his head grew. Launching himself at the storm dragon, Blue Flame threw a large blue ball of fire toward the storm dragon.

Nyara flew at the large dragon and hit it head on. She bounced back, its scales were like armour...
