Welcome to the New Seasonal Egg Hunt on Rescreatu!

Race the clock to find as many of your favorite eggs as possible.
How many will you end up with? Which will you go for first?

Click here to find out how to start hunting Jaaku and Ebilia eggs!

And don’t forget the daily egg limit!

You have two weeks in which to hunt down these elusive eggs.

Once you choose a seasonal egg to hunt, you cannot hunt for the other until your 48 hours is up. Time will continue to count down, even if you are offline. You can only hunt for each type of egg once.

When the timer is out, it is time to wait until next year!

username - October 29, 2010
it would be nice if we could do the time limit over several days. like instead of it being a solid 48hours to hunt for a species, say like 2 hours a day or something to hunt.
Zayn - October 27, 2010
I found 17 Ebilia. c: Well. Actually, 19. But I hatched two. And Out of the 17 I gave one to Lauren and plan to hatch one more. :D AND one of them hatched Black.
rainbow12 - October 27, 2010
I found 5 jaaku eggs!! But my hatches have not been updated so I cannot hatch. Please update them I also am not for the timer I liked the old way i was all prepared and now my plans ruined by a timer at least a one use only pause button 1 use only!!
Twilight - October 26, 2010

WarriorFirepaw - October 26, 2010

WarriorFirepaw - October 26, 2010
Yeay!
haleyhorror - October 26, 2010
I think this is a great way to help the res economy. I just wish there was a pause button just to pause once until I can get back on again. There are some family issues going on and because of this, I've lost a lot of time already to find eggs. I started the hunt before anything happened not knowing. I just think therew should maybe be a pause that you can only use once. Just a suggestion. But good idea I suppose.
BlueBunny - October 26, 2010
Not if the pause button was activated once you log off. Then when you log on, the time would continue until it gets down to 0. That way if you log on once and search for the eggs, but then you can't log on for a couple days cuz you're so busy...your time won't be up. Pause button! :D
MysticalWings - October 26, 2010
Sad to say, I am rather upset with this method. I support the fact that this method helps the site and all but some players still have school and other daily activities. Oh well. Goodluck to all the dedicated players whom are hunting for these seasonal eggs! (Also, I support the pause button suggestion too.)
Zada2011 - October 26, 2010
I like this new method. It'll make the eggs a lot more valuable. Sure I have school but I intend to time it to give me the most refreshing time possible.
CakeBake - October 26, 2010
I got 4 jaaku eggs so far :D
InfernoFire - October 25, 2010
Music makes eggs come out just a hint
Puptea - October 25, 2010

BlackEbilia - October 25, 2010
Oh thanks Mirrors. (:
Witchy - October 25, 2010
YAY! /Been waiting forever/
Phos - October 25, 2010
At least i dont have any school from next week onwards >_<
xeeroh - October 25, 2010
It is to be expected that players who can spend more time playing the game will gain more rewards than players with limited time/connections. There's nothing unfair about this method, it's simply a matter of how players choose to spend their time. Players also have many opportunities to buy and trade with other players for eggs throughout the year, so maybe it's a good thing some people will spend the full 48 hours!
Marika - October 25, 2010
I don't really like this new method of egg hunting. I cannot be online for more than 1 hour each day since I had and have more exams these weeks. Even with this "improved" way some people can still sit here some 30 hours to look for each type of egg while others have to pray for some luck and 3 eggs of each time for a year. In the past years with a week for each type of egg even if I'd be refreshing just 20 minutes/day I would still get more eggs... Maybe it will help the economy, though it will make colored seasonals very pricey, but it will not balance things out for the average player. Just my opinion on this.
Twintkitty - October 25, 2010
Thanks for the update, Allen :D
Lolbot - October 25, 2010
I love this new feature. In the past few hunts, my limit has been about 20 eggs in a full week. May sound pitiful but I don't intend on spending my whole Halloween break on a computer refreshing until my fingers develop minds of their own. The people who have the ability to refresh with no end and aquire over 100 seasonal eggs are probably on for about 48 hours during those seven days. This would mean about 2-3 eggs per hour, which would be my usual amount. I wouldn't like those sort of 'pyscho refreshers' getting a pause button because that would result in them reeling in OVER 9000 seasonal eggs. For people who have school and whatnot, I would like to give a pause button, but simply can't. How can you give one person a pause button but not the other? And how would you know that the person's excuse is legittimate?
Fireelf - October 25, 2010
I like the way this has worked, thanks :)
NINE - October 25, 2010
Nine doesn't approve of this, because, shes got school all week + drama rehearsal after school. :c Then she has a party to set up for on the week end. Nine liked the old way, but she supposes that wasn't really too good for the economy. This is prolly good for the economy, but it's sorta displeasing those who already had limited amount of time. >: Oh well.
Yoshi - October 25, 2010
That's actually really cool. o_o It'll definitely be an improvement over past hunts - things like lag and people finding two hundred eggs just because they can refresh for days. And it's an interesting way to go about it. I may just participate in a hunt for the first time since 2008. c:
larkspurlane - October 25, 2010
Thanks for continually thinking of ways to improve and keep things interesting. If this will help our economy, I'm all for it.
Yaizhbeen - October 25, 2010
"If you were to have a pause button, the time would be closer to 1 hour than 48 hours." Understood^^. Still those who have time to sit in front of the computer all day, will have like 24 active hunting hours, while those who cannot will have like 4-6. I think if you said we can hunt for 4 hours but we can pause, that would be more fair. Just a thought :).
layamaria - October 25, 2010
Maybe it's fun for a lot of people, but it penalizes people who don't have good internet connections and those who can't log in for more than a few hours at a time. At least with a week each, we had the option to spend a couple of hours a day hunting eggs, even if we got only one or two a go. I'm supposed to be recovering from being sick and here at a place where my internet signal's not good and now I have to cope with this. Wonder if I'll even bother.
Daisy98 - October 25, 2010
Oh, Duh. Thank you, Gun. If I may call you that. ouo *Flies off to hunt*
zebez - October 25, 2010
Maybe next time this could be done on the begining of a weekend but maybe that's just my unfortunate timing to have homecoming and the march to restore sanity next weekend so I can't really optimize my time. I also like how it's supposedly made more exciting...even though most of us just press F5 over and over again. I feel like there should be a puzzle or something. Like clues to bring you to eggs.
Micheila - October 25, 2010
I really can't be bothered. Maybe I'll hunt a few Ebilias :P
Gunmetal - October 24, 2010
Daisy98: It's exactly like hunting for any normal egg throughout the rest of the year, except that you have a time limit.
Daisy98 - October 24, 2010
I'm super duper confused on how to do this...? Do I still just refresh on Reiflem for two hours, or what...?
AquaAmbar - October 24, 2010
One hour online since the release and already 4 Ebilia eggs! YAY!
Patrick - October 24, 2010
A pause button is not happening. When deciding on the amount of time we would give you, we factored in school, work, etc. Thats why you have 48 hours. If you were to have a pause button, the time would be closer to 1 hour than 48 hours.
Emile - October 24, 2010
I'm all for a pause button, too.
Yasha - October 24, 2010
Do we have to start the next one right after we finsh the first?
Juniper - October 24, 2010
I'm with everyone else who says that this needs a pause button. Some of us do indeed have lives and we don't spend all day on the internet.
Lilith - October 24, 2010
I have to work while I'm on the site, and that doesn't include much time at all for hunting. You don't have to start your 48 hours today; you can start it whenever its convenient. =)
Watson - October 24, 2010
You know.. .I'm all for new things, but what about those of us who have to work all day? I go back to work tomorrow morning, I get home in time to sleep and I go back the next day :/. I find this just a little unfair.
Soulyter - October 24, 2010
Well, this would be fine if they'd put the rarity back up to 1%.
shinEEMilotic - October 24, 2010
>X( i cant find ebilia creatu eggs!!!!!! 0_0 Humph.....
Yaizhbeen - October 24, 2010
Ummm yeah, I have school all week, and leaving to a business trip all next week so...:/ I will have one weekend to spare. Pause button would be nice, but well, at least the site won't get so laggy ^^
Rose - October 24, 2010
Yay :D Now i wont miss out because of my holiday <3
snifflesnuffle - October 24, 2010
:D So excited~
Jzbelle - October 24, 2010
After a few years of refresh, refresh, refresh, I LOVE having a new way to do the seasonal hunt. Thank you! This will make seasonal pets (at least these 2) more valuable again (hopefully). :D
Kitty - October 24, 2010
Yeah, but a pause button wouldn't hurt. >:( Some of us have lives.
Lolbot - October 24, 2010
My clicker finger is getting more muscular already!
prianamagix - October 24, 2010
Oh and it's to help the economy. It's better to find 10 eggs and sell them for 1m each rather than 20 eggs for 300k each. xP
paigecam - October 24, 2010
WOOOOO. o3o
prianamagix - October 24, 2010
Black: No, you can choose both, but you only get 2 days to do each.
BlackEbilia - October 24, 2010
Aww why couldnt they do this on saturday? And whats with this why did they change it all the sudden? I can only choose one egg to find??? AND ITS LIMITED!!
Kitty - October 24, 2010
I just wish there was a pause button. I have school all week. T__T And my fall break JUST ended.
Lilith - October 24, 2010
The jaaku and ebilia eggs will be available for two weeks. During that two weeks, you have the choice of when to start hunting one egg or another, and once you click Start, your 48 hours for that particular egg begins. When your 48 hours is over for that egg, you have the choice, as long as it falls within the two weeks, of when to start the next hunt. Once you click Start, your 48 hours for that egg begins.
fullmoon - October 24, 2010
Soo.. hard finding them now...
