I'm...confused. This is the opposite of a revamp. It's more of a...de-vamp. It just doesn't work at all, not after the amazing colouring job it previously had. If the style HAD to be changed (which is lamentable) the line art should have also been redone as well as not to make it a competitor with the old design. Kind of the same methodology employed by manufacturers who re-design a package in order not to draw attention to the fact that the product itself has been changed.
The light source also seems a little confused. But don't pay me mind. I'm just a critic.

I really like the colors, but the whole "cute-looking" part of it...not so much. I think that the eyes looked better on the old ones. Still, beautiful job (I love the colors) and congrats to the new staff!

Goibas have always been a huge favourite of mine and I'm delighted with both the (minor) revamp and the colours.

I'm also appalled by the disgusting proliferation of 'cute' in revamps...must my beloved Res follow in the footsteps of other pet sites that try to cater more and more to small children? Why can't we have our creepy and weird alongside the baby-cute?

i understand this had to be done in order to color them, but couldn't you have just tried to get in touch with the person who had the PSDs? if i'm not wrong, that'd be manta? i don't think the shading on this holds a candle to the wonderful oily, slick look the old goiba had. clearly no offense meant to the person that did recolor these, good job to you, but honestly, i don't like it. i miss the slimy look the old one had. so, in short, not impressed. why not revamp something that really needs it? i mean, honestly, wasting your time revamping pets that don't need it--only to make them entirely too cutesy--is sort of a waste of your time. anyway, my two cents has been paid in full.

I don't mean to be mean, it is nice art, but why update a pet that did not need updating? The old art was stunning! I mean, the Leverene, the Paor, the Murren, the Aukira? Don't you think they needed an update more then the Goiba?
