My absolute favorite flower I do not believe is appropriate to say since there are kids on this site and I don’t want them going and looking it up but I can say that it is of the orchid family. Orchids are so amazing and grow in so many different wonderful ways. They look like so many different non-flower things like monkeys, birds, etc. Also, dead snapdragons look like skulls! I think it’s so awesome!! |

I have the blackest of black thumbs, so I don't dare try to keep anything alive, but from a distance Wisteria and Nemophila are my favorites for beauty, and Lilac for scent. ^^ |

Sunflowers! They represent so much hope and light and warmth, can grow impressively tall and strong with the right care, and are an important food source for many creatures, us included!
If you catch me on a sentimental day, however, my answer may change. Perhaps I'd say yellow roses, as they remind me of my mother, and her mother before her. Perhaps forget-me-nots, a flower I always connect to that one friend who stuck with me through it all. Maybe lavender, for all it has meant to the LGBTQA+ community through the years. Or then again, maybe dandelions, little rays of sunshine that have so much worth, so many uses and such bright colours, and yet are called weeds.

Black eyed Susans. Love how dark, but sunny they are. Blooming best in the fall. And they smell like honey. But, everytime I try and grow them.. they never live, never sprout. Guess, mother nature banned me from growing my fave flower. |
