I think off the top of my head is maybe making quick sort/sorting and organizing a little easier! It might be nice to make it easier to read and understand where I'm putting things, there's a lot of little buttons.

Some things I would absolutely love to see, in order of enthusiasm:
-a "give multiple" option in the shrine, PLZ and THANK <3
-a sort by "recently added" option in the inventory dropdown!
-an indicator to see which clothing items are in closet already
-a library feature as others are saying, being able to search, stock multiple books, etc.
-mutants getting their own category in the log

An easy indicator to see which items are already in your wardrobe, like with the green highlights in the npc shops that show you have them in your inventory, could have a different colour or maybe a coat hanger or T-shirt icon in the corner of the pictures.

Forums could definitely use an upgrade... something like ChickenSmoothie's interface would be nice.
Trades too needs an upgrade.
Search feature should allow for special character searches like using double quotes or asterisks. Search box in general needs an upgrade ala item database.
Any textbox where we input user's names to send items or something should be set up like the pet transfer page, where a dropdown will show with a list of users matching what you've typed.

I think something that could use an update is the search bar at the top of the page. If you misspelled something, you have to take the time to go back and respell it, which I know is not a huge deal, but I think if it brought up items by relevance or something that overlooks small spelling mistakes, it could be helpful.

I would like to see old accounts not logged in for 5 years+ cleaned out and deleted. Pets thrown into forest and there items put into trash.
Over all User Trades over a week old could self delete.
Just doing this small things could help the site lag as well. If you do not want to do it with old accounts im sure there is plenty of banned ones we could do as well.
More functional small things to clean up the site to improve the lag if possible I think we would all like to see.
As for new Players joining, I think we could add in the Tut there first Hallows Donation Quest be free and part of the welcome to site since it cost hardly anything to do since all the items are from NPC stock tht 10 mins, and will give them tokens they can sell as well as coins for TU and set them off better. That is just my 2 cents.

I think the NPC to Player shops should be like the stock market and be green when the prices are right and go red on the sides when shop player prices are under NPC shops.
It would also be nice to see the banned users shop npc prices taken out lol example is a Cream Tesuri Plushy says its 2000 TU to be the lowest and that isn't right if you check in the item database i think its funny but others might price it at a frozen price if they did not notice this.
Alert options for squishy bin and other activities we can do we can turn off and on perhaps if others do not want them.

Would love to see mutants getting their own log category and category in 'creatu colors.' I think it's a vastly ignored feature of creatu that are treated like effects but they aren't actually effects, considering they count as unique creatu in overall collecting logs (yet not at the same time?)

I think there's a lot of areas for improvement, but one would be adjusting tu-making methods to make them a bit more equal. Things like the stock market and egg-counting make almost nothing and end up feeling pointless compared to the donation center.

I'd desperately love to see more flexibility with the way gender is tied to the HA's - making frame changes independent of gender, allowing custom pronouns, and making the changing of both of those as easy as, say, changing my HA's eyebrows would make the whole experience a lot more welcoming, I think.
People who are trans, nonbinary, or otherwise gender non-conforming are currently pretty poorly represented with the options available, and the HA gender change process does virtually nothing to address that :(

Creatu art revamps where necessary and UI/UX improvements for quality of life things. The library seems to be something everyone can agree on needs major love. Some art for the library landing page might be nice as well.

Pet pages. If we get no other update for the next six months I would absolutely love the ability to select an active pet from that pet's page, or else the explore page, or literally any other feature that means players no longer have to cycle through dozens, if not hundreds, of pets to find the one they want to make their active pet at any given moment.

I do find there is a few places around Res that need some work, Cooking Basin, Stocks working properly again, finding books more easily in your library. Being able to select multiple items in Shrines...just to name a few places. But on that, I can't wait to see all the changes made in Res.

It's a little thing, but the egg marketplace could use a bit of an overhaul on the buying side. I feel like it doesn't always show the results it should? For example, if you try and search by planet, sometimes it will ask you to 'simplify your query' but then if you choose one type of egg from that planet it shows up. Maybe I'm just misunderstanding the error message though.

I think going to each of the planets could definitely be updated!! I've found that time and time again, I get confused on where I'm supposed to click to get to certain locations (like the graveyard for example), so something like labeling or being able to select where to go on the bottom of the page

Can't wait to see all the magic that's going to be coming to RES. Now.. I think a little work everywhere needs paying attention to. But, I guess Auctions and trades needs more attention. Trades are broken for alot of us,. And auctions.. both of them has some issues as well. And we do depend on thoes alot.

It's exciting to have these big updates planned! I'd recommend having some kind of sorting system in collections, maybe like category tags so you can look at clothing, food, squishies etc.

Shrine: I really hope the guardian shrines get a revamp. It is really hard to sacrifice multiple items and the item list loads really slowly if you have a large inventory, it has made me stop shrining for so long.
Storage: After you search for a particular item, if the search list is more than 1 page and you click on the next pages, it will somehow redirect you to a generic storage page and does not reflect the next page of your search results.
Enchanted springs: There are many existing suggestions on enchanted springs in the forum. Personally, other than the spring days reset issue etc, I hope that the rewards are tiered accordingly and you have a much higher chance to earn coloured/dyed dips as you visit the springs for more days. It seems like the chances are still quite low now and even if you visit the springs for more days, you just get alot of junk items too, this dis-incentivises users to visit the spring more frequently.

Because I'm sooo obsessed with the collections, I'd love to see some sort of indication if I've already added an item to a collection or not, maybe a tiny flag icon or something! I know I can keep a tab open with all the collections but it'd be easier to not buy duplicates if it was just on the tab when you click an item in the store ^^/

Wish I could edit my comment lol but to add onto the cooking basin- having a catalogue of all the craftable recipes there would be nice and perhaps to not make the current recipe card system obsolete, recipes you haven't crafted yet could be blacked out or something and they unlock either after you've read the recipe card/book for it or made it?

I'm not sure if I'd say it needs the most attention, but the cooking basin could definitely use some updating. Even just a quality of life update like being able to craft a recipe x amount of times provided you had enough ingredients would be insanely helpful. It becomes tedious when I'm trying to craft a recipe more than once.
