my HAPPIEST memory of 2017 was rescuing a little bird that fell out of his nest and couldn't fly. We named him Enoch but while we put him back in his nest three more flew out and the mom was attacking my dad's head for it! XD

My happiest memory of 2017 was getting to go to the beach and actually wading into the ocean far enough that it came up to my neck. I can't swim, so I feel very proud of myself, for getting over the fear of drowning just enough to do so.

My happiest memory was realising my mother had stored away like secret treasure old film cameras, i went through old photos as well seeing how far and how much we have all grown. My mother gave me the cameras with some stored film and told me how i must now continue the adventures and recording precious moments in life. Cause i will look back at them and remember. Because a picture says more than a thousand words

My happiest memory of 2017 was my partner reassuring me that, no matter what drama came my way from my son's father's family, he would stand by me and still wanted me to be his wife and to raise my son and our daughter with me, as a family. I've never had much of a family before, and being part of his makes me feel whole-- they accepted my son and I in right away and have been nothing but kind to us both. :) Best feeling ever. Now for our little girl to get out to make it complete! (She comes 1/22/18!!)

My happiest memory of 2017 has to be when I worked with the K-9 Unit near my college. I was in a photojournalism class and interviewed the K-9 Unit. I got to go to their trainings, ride alongs, and school sniffs, and it was just an amazing experience. I made a lot of friends and dog friends! I’m also keeping in touch with them!

A happy moment for 2017 was when I got to go with my school class to the homeless shelter to learn how they live and the way the community helps to take care of them. We got to help hand out food learned that even the littlest things can help. It felt really good to be able to give back even if it was just a little bit.

My brother is living in Tennessee and he had no where to go and no where to stay...this nice family let him stay with them and spend Christmas with them...they even got him a jacket and some socks for Christmas which he loved cause he is from Florida and had no warm clothes to wear...then a few days later they told him that they had a friend that he could stay with and stuff but they had really got him a hotel room with a stocked fridge a laundry basket full of toiletries and a bunch of warm clothes on the bed and the hotel room is paid for for a few more weeks...That kind of kindness just restores my faith in humanity

my favorite memory is .. fairly recent. I was looking back at all of my art done in the past year and I'm amazed at how much I've grown as an artist! My happiest memory of 2017 was when my family found out for absolute sure that my youngest brother Gabriel was going to live through his fight with Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis. He had just gotten a new seizure med, and had a horrible allergic reaction to it. He was so very very sick, and we were all terrified. It was the best feeling EVER when he started to turn around, and improve slowly each day. Now, he only has some little patches of reddish skin and some tiny scars to show what he went through. He's a tough little guy!

My tears, late nights and panic attacks were had all for this.... the struggle was worth it.I made the dean's list this semester with 3 A's and one B+ .

My happiest memory is the first night we stayed in our new apartment. My daughter And I have never lived with her Father before, so it was very exciting to finally come together as a family. It’s something we’ve been trying to do since she was born three years ago. We had nothing but her bed and ours in there, but she came up to us both, gave us the biggest hugs, and said “I really love you guys.” And it was really at that moment he and I knew we made the right choice even though it was hard to do and scary for both of us, we finally did it.
