January 30, 2012 - Lost Item Recovery Event

During the next two weeks, Support Tickets will be accepted regarding items, TU, and pets which were accidentally sent to the wrong username.

Recently, there have been an unusually large amount of mistakes happening, resulting in these things being sent to the wrong account.

As a rule, staff does not correct user error, but it has been decided that for a limited amount of time, and as a one-time only courtesy, we will help to sort these situations out.

In order to qualify, you must submit your ticket no later than 11:59 p.m. Rescreatu Time on Sunday,  February 12th.

Please include as many details as possible! 

  • What was sent
  • When it was sent (estimates are fine)
  • Who it was intended to be sent to
  • Who it was actually sent to

Please remember this will be a ONE-TIME courtesy only. After this two week period expires, user error will no longer be corrected by Staff. It is the users' responsibility to double-check that the correct username has been typed when sending anything on the site.

Am I invisible?!?! My character isn't showing. It's been a week now and she is not showing up in the box next to my pet. :l

I hope Pet Trades will be working again soon, so we won't have to use the send feature and risk a mistake ;) Just saying.rnrnThanks for the courtesy period though!

@April: YES. I know I hold my breath every time I send back a pet who's been sent over to read or an expensive book or avvie item. This is definitely a real lifesaver. I can't think of other sites that would do this on such a large scale; Spoon is right. :)

We are all human and make mistakes sometimes. I'm sure this kind gesture will be much appreciated by those who lost expensive items like r rays.

Yay! Thanks! :D Now if only I can remember one instance I sent something to the wrong person.. I usually copy and paste the usernames. xD

That's VERY kind on Staff's end, considering the time they're going to have to take to sort it all out. I hope people appreciate it and are more careful going forward. :)
