Tigerpaw beamed. He couldn't believe he actually did something right. Maybe he had a knack for medicine after all. He sniffed at her leg again. "Does... it still hurt?" he asked. "...because I think I could get something for the pain." He licked away a bit of the blood as well, trying to be helpful.

Rainpaw smiled at Tigerpaw, licking his cheek in a gracious manner. "Listen to what Earthpaw has to say, you were pretty good out there." She said shyly, before she trotted over to where her friend lay, sitting next to her. "Does the poulltice sting? I know marigold tends to do so." Her mind was foggy, hoping that her friend would be alright, especially with the Rockclan threat now. Why was timing of events always so bad? Her tail swayed side-to-side in frustration, but she waited for her friend's answer.

Earthpaw sighed, "It's fine. I want there to be pain. It'll help me -and Shadefire- gauge how well it's healing." She nuzzled her friend, "It seems like our life has just been turned completely upside down. It's strange...and very frightening."

Rainpaw let out an agreeing mew, thinking about the day's events with anger in her chest. "I know Earthpaw, who do those good-for-nothing rouges think they are?" This she said with malice in her voice, trying to hold in her frustration, but not doing a very good job of it. " I just want to figure out where their so called 'Rockclan' is and give their leader a piece of my mind." Her tail thumped enthusiastically, and the apprentice paced a couple of tail-length, before nosing open the bracken veil to the entrance of the injured den. "I'll check on you later, Earthpaw. I want to make sure that everyone doubles up on their battle training." There was a determination like no other in her voice, and the white apprentice bounded off towards the leader, suggesting to him to require that of his mentors.

Fallingstar stared down at his aprentice. "Yes, this must have been what StarClan was warning me about." His tail lashed from side to side as if he was angry, but his voice displayed no hint of anger. "I must talk to Shadefire..

Flamestripe stumbled through the barrier that surrounded the camp. The dead she-cat was still in his jaws. The scent of fox still clung to the she-cat's fur.

Fallingstar wandered over to Shadefire. "shadefire, did you have any strange dreams?" He wondered...

(Brain-dead...))

Shadefire glanced up from the catmint she had at her paws. "What do you mean by strange dreams, Fallingstar?" she mewed as she sat down. Her tail swished lightly across the floor of her den.

Shadefire cocked her head slightly. "I will go visit StarClan tonight to ask for their guidance," she said. "And if this RockClan is trouble on four paws then you will have to address the other leaders about it to see if we can drive them off." Getting back to her paws, she grabbed a few catmint leaves in her mouth and padded over to the elder who was sick with whitecough. The elder thanked her and began chewing gingerly on the herb.

The medicine cat padded back to Fallingstar. "You show go back to your Clan. Flamestripe has just returned with a cat killed by a fox," she replied, a sad note in her mew.

Flamestripe gently lowed the dead she-cat to the ground. "The fox attacked Skypaw while she was doing her hunting *censored*esment. She was extremely good, she could be a warrior soon." He shook his head slightly. "Back to the story. Skypaw started to fight the fox, then Duskpaw came up and helped. Then this she-cat came in to save them. I haven't seen her before and I don't know her name." Dipping his head with respect, he sat down a few tail-lenghts away from the dead she-cat.

Shadefire came out and started to nose the dead she-cat, looking for whatever had caused her to be killed.

Fallingstar looked at the she-cat with wide eyes, the resemblence of Skypaw in this cat was uncanny. He shook the thought away. "We should bury her with the Starclan's blessing." he dipped his head and licked the dead cat on the head before walking back to Earthpaw...
