Rilo heard in on something about going somewhere. That thought sparked her curiosity. "Wait!" She called. "Where are you going?" She yelled, running as fast as she could to catch up.

Zadoch stood slowly, stretching his bones and muscles. His wings opened and spread wide, blocking out the sun on the charred ground. He very quickly lowered and pushed off the ground, after Raithe had done so, and lazily flew behind them, his wings flapping once or twice every now and then. The wind blew with their flight, so it was nice to allow the planet's wind take them where they were headed. He watched carelessly as Raithe destroyed the crown of a tree. Although Zadoch was not a plant-lover, he felt it was a loss for some creatures who may have homed there. 'Oh well,' thought he. 'Not my home.' When Rilo spoke up, Zadoch turned to her. "Careless." He growled. Thoughts went back to the other dragon with her egg in a pouch. She was resourceful, at least she wasn't leaving her young unattended. |

"Zadoch be nice, we don't want to start anything. Mistakes happen. Let's just go." I growled at Zadoch's ingorance. I turned back around toward the river hoping the egg was safe.

Rilo growled low at Zadoch's ignorance. Damn brute, I really don't give a **** what he thinks. Raced through her mind. She shot off into the air, ignoring the other dragons. |

"Ha!" A spell of white flame escaped his mouth in a non-threatening manner. He flew through them without hesitation and stared ahead. He remained silent for the rest of the flight, not out of obedience, though. Simply because talking, he felt, was boring.

Dusk landed beside the river and gazed at a dragon's body. "That-That is-was my brother." The dragon was small and a pale white, although is white scales were drenched in a bright red blood...

I landed near the body and stared at the bloody young dragon. The wounds on the dragon were still fresh, blood poured out of them. I stepped to him, and placed my tail over his heart. I could still feel a life beat! "Dusk, he's alive! Healing dragons can feel the life in others and your brothers is beating very low and slow. He may have time." I placed my maw near his and blew cool blue air into his nose. He coughed and choked then stilled again. I then began to heal his deep wounds. Running my claws over the gashes, the blood dried and wounds weaved back together. " It is done" I sighed. I then turned my attention to Rilo. " Rilo go to your cave and get your egg, make sure it's safe. We will stay here and search the area."

Zadoch landed and glanced around the area, then inhaled deeply through his nose. "The smell of humans is still fresh," he muttered glancing around carefully, ensuring they were not being watched. "I think they may have fled after killing this dragon. They're getting bolder now." His wings tucked against his armored body and his tail curled inward to him slightly. His red and black orbs scanned the area still, in case another human, or pack of them, showed up.

Rilo gently landed at the mouth of her cave, walking in slowly. Her egg was fine, yet a bit warm. She breathed a puff of ice breath onto it, keeping it in regular temperature. She placed small egg in her pouch and jumped off the cave ledge, leaving the place she used to call home behind. She searched again for the dragon's she was once with. |

I sat with Zadoch and kept guard. Watching over the young dragon and our own saftey. The secnt of human was stil strong, so strong it burned my nose. "So what do you suppose we do Zadoch? I know we must fight but, do we have the power? The strength?" As I pondered my words Rilo came back to the river. "The egg is it safe?" I asked with wonder.

"Yes. It's fine." She said, taking it out of her pouch and giving it a good blast of freezing air, forming ice crystals on the egg's shell. The egg wobbled a bit, the action turning into a smile on Rilo's face. She lie down, wrapping her tail around the small egg, memories of the odd creature's, two arms and two legs, yet they walked standing up. She couldn't place her claw on what they where, or why they took her eggs. Her eye's glared into nothing as she thought about those bad memories, how she fought that vicious dragon, how she got the scar, and how it took her third egg. |

Zadoch's tail flicked a bit as he thought. "Humans... are capable of thinking," he said after a long moment of pause. "I do not enjoy killing intellectual creatures. Maybe we can get them to stop, and find out why." He shifted his weight and laid down on his rough, scaled belly. His tail curled around him entirely and he closed his eyes and smelled the air. The stink of humans was vanishing. "Maybe they can also tell u where the young have gone, if they have not killed them." He added a while after. |
