Zakeru grinned broadly. "Choppers can be dangerous. But not if you wear the leathers needed for safety. Though I did crash my own custom chopper. Ended up getting really bad road rash. just healed too," he said, one arm coming up so he could rub his right shoulder before moving to his neck. The road rash had happened in that general area and it still ached on certain days.
Sculyr stayed quiet and listened to their conversation. The notebook in his hands held sketches of different designs he often let Zakeru use to place on choppers.
Nothing can stop the US Air Force except lightning within five nautical miles.

One Paige got tired of harrassing the teachers who were still on campus she skated off campus moving along the cracked side walks her board as silent as a ghost since she had just gotten new barrings. She ended up down town. The streets were packed this time of day and she had to weave in and out of the people crowding the side walks. She peerd in through shop windows her stomach growling as she saw the local BBQ place. She picked up her skate board and walked inside seating herself at one of the window tables. A waitres came along a fake smile on her face, "Hey there Paige. Haven't seen you here in a while." Her voice was smooth and sweet, "Yeah well havn't been out of detention in a while." Paige smirked as they lady gave a slight laugh, "The usuall?" The woman asked getting her small yellow pencil ready to scrible down the order onto the not pad. "Yup." Paige says before the lady leaves the table. Paige slides her skate board underneat the table and lookes out the window at the passing people.

Zakeru shook his head, his orange eyes closing briefly. "No painkillers so it hurt like a mother," he said. His eyes blinked as he considered what C.J. said about his strict parents. "Then they would absolutely love me." It was dripping with sarcasm. "Me being the atheist and chain smoker that I am."

Cassie was frozen for a moment. She hadn't expected this reaction at all, so was completely unprepared for it. She found herself unable to move a muscle, she was so surprised.
