Lucian looked off to the side, running his calculating gaze over the newcomer. In that moment of distraction, his prisoner freed himself, wrenching his way out of the trickster's grip. he didn't attack, though, which was a good sign. It meant that the hound was at least interested in whatever he had to offer. Remembering the girl, he glanced over again, a smooth smile spreading over his lips. For some reason, that made the dog angry and he was forced to return his attention to said canine.

Cainus had freed himself, probably thanks to the distraction the arrival of another female demon. He didn't like the look the trickster was giving the girl, though, and he growled in order to gain Lucian's focus again. He demanded, "What is this proposition of yours?"

"I merely offer a partnership between two skilled demons." As Lucian flicked his eyes to the female again, he added, "Maybe three."

With a wave of his hand, Cain, now rather annoyed, called the attention of Lucian back to him. He asked, "And what is entailed in this 'partnership'?"

The trickster spun on his heel and took a few steps further into the alley, saying, "Oh, nothing much. All I want is someone to fight back-to-back with should things go wrong." He looked over his shoulder, smiling as he said, "I'm not the only one looking for powerful allies afterall."

Cain lifted his lip in a half-snarl as he demanded, "And what do I gain from this?"

"Yes, what does he gain, Lucian?" Kioko interjected (lol) as she stepped out of the shadows where she had been hiding.  She stood off to the side, keeping a good amount of distance between herself and the other three demons in the alley.

"This is so stupid," Kioko had thought to herself as she tracked the presence of the stronger demons in the city.  She had planned to live a quiet, peaceful life away in the human realm, away from other demons and their schemes. 

But her curiosity had taken over, and now she was staring down a powerful trickster demon and a hellhound in some alleyway of her new home.  Fate must have hated her.

Having come to a stop on one of the old house roof's that overlooked the alley, Rene watched in silence as the Trickster revealed his proposition to the Hellhound, before her eyes flickered to both the female Demons who had appeared.

Well... It seemed Lucian and Cain were gathering quite the crowd, delibrate or not. She sighed quietly, then jumped from her space, landing on a small broken wall by the alley, all 4 other demons in her sight. Although she didn't say anything, she had allowed herself to fall in full view of the others; Her eyes merely curious as she glanced at the female Demon who spoke.

Human world was turning out to be somewhat interesting...

Marr looked around. New demon scents were surrounding her, not just the hellhound and the white-haired demon. Two females. Marr almost smirked. 'This is getting interesting.' She thought to herself. 'And weird.'

Marr continued watching the two demons, while a female had interrupted their conversation. Marr yawned, turning back to her wolf form. Another canine yawn, and a scratch of the ears, Marr settled down to watch while lying down. It seemed less humiliating to lie on the ground when you're a dog.

Lucifer sighed contently as he exited the gates. Today, he breathed the air of a free man. Or Fallen Angel. Or Devil. He quickly possessed the nearest person, as he sought out to find his one of his va.ssals. The woman he possessed walked towards the man's house, as he slid through the door

An hour later, Lucifer had the consent of the man, as he walked in his body as a free man. First thing he was going to do, visit his good old friends the Winchesters.

Dean drummed his fingers on the steering wheel, his patience wearing thin.

"Hurry up, Sammy!!" He called, revving hthe engne.

"Alright, alright." Sam called back, slamming the door of the Impala behind him.

"Jesus, do you have any patience?" 

Lucian looked pointedly over each of the newcommers before returning his gaze to Cain. When he spoke, though, it was to all of the demons present.

"All of us have enemies, whether we like it or not. There is one in particular that you all may have heard about, a demoness by the name of Cattva? If not, then you will soon. She is gathering the strongest of the demons who have crossed over and is trying to take over as much of the world as she can, wiping out any who get in the way. she is as much of a threat to me as she is to you."

Cain snickered as he snarled in earnest, saying, "And I'm guessing you know all about the dispute she had with the hellhound clans a few millenia back, which is why you think I would want your help."

Lucian only nodded. He then turned to Marr, the demoness with the wolf form and said, "I also know that Cattva is no lover of the wolfkin either."

He looked at Rene in particular, a grin splitting his face as he said, "If I recognize you correctly, you have some serious issues with Cattva, or am I wrong?"

'A verbal conflict?' Marr thought to herself. 'How boring.' She lay her head on her front paws, as she continued. 'This will end in tears.' She laughed. The tweo demons seem extremely strong, stronger than her, maybe. And the female, well, she was too far away from Marr to see.

Lucian turned again to Cain and asked, "So, are we in agreement? You protect my back and I'll protect yours?" With another glance in Rene's direction, he smugly added, "I'll be sure to watch your back as much as I can."

Cain snarled in distaste but found the wisdom in the trickster's words. With a resigned sigh, he said, "Fine. I agree."

"Jolly good!" Lucian cried out, adding, "I already have a base of operations set up not too far from here. Follow me if you will." Without waiting for a reply, he sauntered off, radiating confidence and malice at  the same time, a confusing combination.

Cain supressed his growl of annoyance before following. Had he not wanted to avoid attracting attention, he would have conjured his blade, simply for the feel of its familiar hilt against his agitated palm. Despite his efforts at keeping himself under control, his hellhound nature was showing in his elongated nails and darkening eyes. All of this stress was wearing at his restraint and he was beginning to wonder whether it was worht it to even come to this wretched place.

Marr nodded, pretending to understand. 'Ah, geez.' She thought to herself. 'I've barely understood all of the demon-stuff, and now we can be cursed too?' But she perked up when the demon asked her a question. "Of course I can." She replied, and turned into her favorite form, the serpent. After a split second, she turned back. "I can also turn into..." Marr paused for a moment. "Some venomous serpent."

[[Gotta go. It's now 1 AM x.x]]

Cain raised his eyebrows, intrigued. "I've never met a double shapeshifter before, see somethign new every day, eh?"

[[Gah. Slept for only an hour. Mosquito-hunting now. Won't go back to sleep until I find that stupid bug x.x]]

Marr placed her hands on her hips. "Well, I should be the surprised one." She began. "You seeing something new. I thought you and the other demon would know everything there is to know about demons." She laughed. "Well, I guess I can't a.ssume a lot of things."
