(sorry for the lateness, my internet was being dumb yesterday ^^ so glad so many people joined, I'll post my intros now)

As he stepped through a hellgate that opened into the middle of a city's park, Lucian smiled. The chaotic essence of the demon world swirled behind him, invisible to any mortal's eye. He took a deep breath, tasting the air. His face suddenly split into a mischevious grin and his eyes flashed crimson as he hissed, "Glorious."

Cainus cautiously looked around as he slipped through the hellgate. His footsteps were light as air and refused to make any sound on the forest floor he had emerged into. He glanced up at the night sky where a full moon shined brilliantly. The demon world had no moon; that world's residence had destroyed it millenia ago. He smiled at its beauty, but the sightseeing was short lived as a rumbling came from behind him, marking the arrival of another demon. He dashed for cover, conjuring his shadow blade Doombringer. The sword was almost as long as he was tall and was covered in intricate symbols that seemed to dance in the moonlight. Cain hoped that he wouldn't have to put his weapon to use. it was unlikely, though, that whatever demon that came through there would be immediately hostile. This did nothing to relax Cain's grip on Doombringer as he crouched behind the bushes.

 The night was so still here...This Human World had clearly never experienced the true hell and chaos of Demon World. The mere memory of her world caused Rene to chuckle quietly under her breath. The difference was almost unbelievable.

Having stepped through the Demon Gate an hour or so ago, the silver haired Demoness wasn't exactly missing her homeland. Hell... She'd stepped through the gate to get away from it for a while... That, and the fact her curiousity got the better of her. She'd only ever heard tales of Human-kind, the way they gave into their endless emotions, the way madness could overcome them with surprising ease... Naturally however, after an hour or so of simply watching them, she'd gotten bored.

Resting her head on a slender hand, her crimson eyes flashed to the park some distance away, having felt the telltale aura that indicated another Demon Gate had opened. She craned her neck slightly, hoping to glimpse whatever had pas.sed through this time; The park itself however, was obscured by a number of trees and other foilage.

Sighing slightly, she stood up, then promptly jumped from roof to roof, eventually coming to a stop just beside the park, her body hidden in shadows as she crouched, eyes on the Demonic Being who had entered this world.

(hihi X3 he's going to be a tough one)

Lucian looked around as he walked towards the street, mainly to get out of the park; it was too green for his tastes. He caught his first glimpse of a human and snickered. These were the fabled humans? They looked so frail and helpless. He sat down on a bench, eyes gleaming, as he settled his gaze on a young man walking by. Oh, so innocent... his mind purred. With a flick of his finger, he conjured an illusionary swarm of red wasps around the man's head, sending him into a fit of panicked cries. Lucian's amusement only deepened as the man stumbled into an old lady, sending her sprawling.

The almost permanent grin on the trickster's face widened as he settled his elbows on his knees to watch, unaware that he, in turn, was being watched by another demon, Rene.

Cainus did not linger long, he wanted to be gone from that infernal portal to his dark home. Still without making a sound, he turned and moved away from the hellgate. Doombringer grumbled its disappointment at being deprived of a fight, but faded back into its own dimension without hesitation. Once he was out of sight of the portal, Cain sped to a jog. His unnatural sense of direction told him where the nearst establishment was and he soon came into view of it. It was much, much smaller than any demon city, but by human standards it was large. With a sigh, he noted that there was little difference, on the outside, between human and demon cities. Perhaps he had gotten his hopes too high.

Kioko stepped through the Demon Gate, breathing in the air of her new home.  A sense of peace settled over her as she began walking toward the bright lights of what appeared to be a human city.  Pulling her red jacket closer around her to ward off the chill of the night, Kioko allowed herself a small smile.  Compared to the Demon World, the human realm was rather nice. 

Marr stepped out of the tree as soon as the demon [Cainus] had sped off. She looked around to see where he had gone, and could see or smell no trace of the strange demon. She breathed out in relief. The last time she had met a fellow demon, it did not end very well. Marr breathed in and out, and walked over ot a nearby park bench, plopping down on it.

(hmmm..... let's wreak some real havoc then X3)

Cain was surprised at how many demons there were in the city, both seen and unseen. There were some that strutted about, looking human, but obviously different. Then there were those that lurked in the shadows or in the world between worlds, tugging at the fabric of space as they moved. He took note of how many followed his own movements, sensing his helhound nature and hissing thier malice.

One demon in particular (this is just an NPC), an incubus by the look of him, approached him directly, demanding, "Why is the dog loose from its chain?" The remark made him rather angry and Doombringer rematerialized in his hand without a second thought. With a snarl, Cain replied, "To tear apart any little demons that make him angry. Would you like to be the first?" The incubus let loose a hiss and sprang at him, hands suddenly turned into claws. With an unearthly shriek of hunger, Doombringer lashed out, nearly cutting the demon in two.

The humans who were enarby watched with mixed expressions of confusion and fear. As the incubus's essence faded into nothing at his feet, Cainus cursed. He hadn't wanted to attract attention like this. With an almost feral growl, he stalked off, still angry. Demons always looked down on him because of his curse, he had lived with thier insults for his entire existence. he refused to deal with it here, where the laws of the demon world held no sway.

Lucian watched the helhound as he ripped that lesser demon apart, silently applauding his performance. With a wide-toothed grin, he also took note of how many other demons were watching, good to know how many were around. To his utter enjoyment, he counted plenty. Thier presences were practically pulsing after having been so close to bloodshed, sending thier nerves on edge. Lucian ran a very red tongue over his teeth as he savored the fun to come. For now, though, he got up from his park bench and traced the helhound's steps. He had a proposition to make.

[[Hrm... Maybe Marr can crush on Cain, or vice versa :d And oh noo, anarchy D:]]

Marr felt her skin prickle. Something was happening in the city. On instinct, Marr stood up and turned to her faster form, the wolf form. She bounded towards the city, where she felt the source of the power was. She skidded to a stop, where a small crowd of humans were supposed to be bustling around, staring at a figure with a sword. Marr's eyes widened. A demon. The demon she saw at the park behind the bushes. She stood still for awhile, wondering what to do. She feared the strength of the demon. "Don't wanna get hurt again." Marr muttered to herself.

[[Oh pooh. I do hope Cain is still in the city xD ]] 

Cainus was very aware of being followed, but he expertly showed no sign of his awareness. He led his stalker through several winding streets, trying to lose him. When that didn't work, he rounded a corner and dashed to an alleyway, watching till his pursuer came into sight. Such things were common in the demon world, as.sasins, stalkers and the like. In order to survive, one must know how to avoid, or if necessary, as it was in this case, confront one's enemy. As a form p*censored*ed by the alley entrance, Cain reached out, growling, and pulled the demon out of the street, slamming him against the wall. A split moment later, he found his hands empty and a blade against the back of his neck, biting into the tender flesh there. Through bared teeth, he hissed, "Trickster..."

Lucian grinned. His trick had played out perfectly, giving him the upper hand. With the helhound at his mercy, Lucian allowed himself a bit of bravado, "And I thought helhounds were skilled at seeing through deceptions. Perhaps I was wrong?" Cain's answering snarl only made the trickster's grin widen. Lucian said, "I have a proposition for you, my friend, one that may keep some of these lower-cl*censored* scum out of your way."

Cain froze, taking this demon's words into serious consideration. He was also aware of a few other demons watching them. From the tensing of the trickster's blade, Cain knew that he was as equally vigilant of thier surroundings.

[[Ummumm... So is the whole crush thing accepted? x.x -not sure what to do-]]

[[Shoor, sure :] I just hope that Marr won't get killed on the way xD]]

Marr took a step forward towards where the demon with the hellhound aura dashed off to. She hesitated for awhile, but then sprinted towards his direction. She followed his strong scent, darting through alleyways and corners. Finally, she turned around another corner, and another alleyway was there. Marr looked ahead. In the alleyway, there was the hellhound demon, with another white-haired demon. The atmosphere around them seemed dangerous. Marr's eyes widened when she first saw them. She reluctantly cleared her throat, after turning back into her original form. 'Don't want to see more blood splattered.' She thought to herself.
