Maku exploded into a fury of snarls and lowly growls at Yukita's ignorant reaction.  "Just as useless as a mortel itself." he spat in disgust... He lunged for the girl but was instantly slammed to the ground by Trek and Rule together.  "Silence, you fool." trek snarled bitterly.  Maku growled but stood quiet at his master's side.  Ext was silent through the whole actions, he simply glared at the humans and female immortal.  Maku growled lowly once more, "Don't waste your time protecting her.  Morana will strip her of her immortality...and then she is faire game." he said in a menacing threat.  Trek clawed the outspeaker across the cheek... watching the deep crimson flow down his face.  "Silence.  They are NOT to be touched." he snarled...Maku recoiled and sat in a bench that lined the wall.  Ext taking a seat beside him.  

Rule glancced at Trek and towards Dante, "No.  She has a right to be frightened." he reas.sured in a low whisper, listening as the clicking noise recommenced on the floor above. 

The group of male immortals seemed to go silent and hold their breath until the clicking ceased.  It was then Ext spoke... his voice was smooth and strong, but expressionless... he spoke to Yukita..."Drewn has had a difficult past with Trek's sister.  I will tell the tale.  If you care to listen." he glanced at the others and their heads fell in fury as Maku cussed out the falcon like female immortal.

drake looked up, and listened intentlhy.

Maku snarled, "Your immortality will be stripped...and when it does, I look foward to your bitter blood to trickle past my jaw..." he snarled in threat, silencing himself as Trek gave a lowly growl.  Maku responded with his own hiss, "She tries to be strong when she's NOT, Trek." he spat in a dangerous tone.  Trek looked up, "Maku, you shouldnt hate those for what they are." was all he said, ignoring Maku's grumbles as he stalked away.  He looked up as Yukita spoke her last words.  "Yes.  She tried to kill us long ago.  Succeeded in the rest of my old pack, besides Drewn. may their souls rest in peace..." he motioned to the othe rimmortals, "Drewn was the first to join me.  Then Ext, and Rule and Maku came together some time ago..." he smiled as the memories came to his mind, they were all such good friends at first.

Ext coughed slightly, silencing Trek..."Drewn... has had a difficult past with Morana..." he whispered in a quiet tone, reas.suring Drewn wouldnt be hearing.  "The two met long ago, about 15 moons before Morana tried to slaughter the group... a romance formed between the two.  A cl*censored*ic love story... BUT.  It turns out Morana's feelings werent true, and she shattered Drewn's heart... she was leading him on for many years until he confessed the weaknesses about the ranks of his own pack.  She used him for her advantage, and used him to discover weaknesses and lead the pack to ruins." Ext took a deep breath, "Morana used the first chance she got and destroyed them all, Drewn had to watch as his beloved slaughtered his friends and allies...he did nothing, for he still believed he loved her...and to this day he is still hoping she will come back.  He begged Morana to end him.  And she laughed.  Her words were "keeping you alive would cause you to perish far more then burning in the deepest pit of hell where your soul belongs." ,he fled for hundreds of moons after those words, trying to find a way to destroy himself.   Punish himself from the curse he was and the mistakes he made." Ext finished looking up at Trek who instantly took over.

"He almost succeeded in his destruction when I finally tracked him down.  He regrets everything he did, and yet his heart still belongs to that winged demon.  He cant forget her.  And she can never love, for her heart has ceased to beat." he said, his eyes closing as he turned his head to the ground.

 Ebony quietly to the story, her face turned sadder and sadder through the story."I'm starting to dislike Morana more and more..." She grumbled. She closed her eyes and let out another tired yawn.

 Isis looked at her sister who seemed to be sleeping. She  sighed wondering who might possibly be able to sleep at a time like this when she realized how tired she was. She sat down on the floor and pulled her legs up to set her head on. "I wonder what made Morana so cold..." she said to herself thoughtfully.

((A little late my friend lol...  mom is sending me to bed, but i want to see if i have internet in my room so if i suddenly dissapear thats why... let me think for a little bit.))

Yukita sighed, not fully understanding how anybody could be so stupid as to believe Morana. Yet she had trusted the witch with her life, had most willingly handed her soul over to the devil. "I say we put him out of his misery and roast this turkey so I can leave." Yukita's temper was rising, though she couldnt tell why, she had never felt so much hatred in her life. Never this much. Her eyes had turned to slits, her teeth sharpening themselves to points. "She will pay for what she has done. I cant rest until I have her blood on my talons." By now she was fully formed, her thin tail slashing dangerously from side to side, challenging anyone to stop her.

Dante backed up, afraid of his sister now. "Yu-Yukita? Somethings wrong, she would never go that willingly into a fight. She hates the thought of killing others, even a messed up soul like Morana. She isnt one capable of that much rage." He gasped standing infront of Isis and Ebony as if to protect them from his blood thirsty sister, as if that were going to do any good.

A wicked laughter echoed about the halls... sounding much like a goddess like witch from a halloween night...  yet the laugh was quite lovely to listen to, but drained the blood from even the strongest of men's faces...  The laughter continued into a higher pitch, still quite lovely as the owner of the voice cited words seen so before by the listeners... it was more menacing then the laugh itself, and caused even Trek to shudder.

"10000  moons and one deceased, a couple more and I will feed.... contrition not, and fear unpained, the rise of hell and undetained...  As cold as stone and lips of ice, the kiss of death will be oh so nice..."

At the end of the poem, the laughter continued, as did the clicking about the wooden cieling.

Maku and Ext sprang from their positions, each in their full beast's form.  Quite horible monsters.  Maku, a hybrid of a wolf and lion...Ext of a bird and some sort of reptile.  Each released a dangerous hiss as the voice continued...

Trek snarled, but held back his ranks...ready for the strike...

Rule jumped in front of Dante, ready to face Yukita.

Drake watched in horror as the creatures reacted... and for the first time, heard the voice ofhis hunter. 

((You know what, I will.. funna, Trek is not allowed to kill or stop her... he can attack but make my charrie throw him off or what ever. XP))

The lights in Yukita's eyes dimmed to a dull yellow. "The kiss of death will be oh so nice..." She whispered her lids falling half way. "Misstress Morana. Please forgive my moments of insanity, I have realized my true place. Let me serve you once more misstress." She mumbled, her eyes dropping to her brother. "To prove my loyalty, I will complete your original orders." She smiled, her tail poised to defend her against any of the new coming immortals.

(Fail..)

 Rule heard Yukita's words and felt his anger burn inside him, He snarled viciously as he gripped Dante with his now taloned claws and threw him across the room so that the boy was behind Ext...  he rebounded and did the same with Drake.  "You betray us." he seethed between gritted teeth.  Ext was silent as if he saw this treachery before it happened.  Maku ignored the girl, not believing she was of threat... he awaited orders from Trek.

Trek gazed upon Yukita in disappointment.  "Why my dear?" was all he said... but did not have much of a reaction.

 The voice of her own brother made Morana grow hot with fury.  Her eyes became near slits as she realized she hadn't succeeded in  killing her blood.  Her plumage retracted, as her wings recoiled, causing her to once more be a human beauty.  She felt her feet gracefully carry herself to the main hall, where she drifted like a shadowy phantom, to the eyes of her opposers. 

Morana sat on the banister of the large staircase... her eyes transfixed on the immortals and humans... "5 immortals versus one?  That dosnt seem fair my brother."

 Isis hissed, glaring at Yukita her eyes slitted as Morana finally showed herself(Or a the fram of herself) and made what seemed like one of the most insulting, stupidest comment in her life. She stopped walking around in circles and stared at the girl with a eyes full of hatred and anger. Her anger boiled up inside of her, and not having slept for a long time wasn't helping very much either. "What the hell do you know about fairness?" She nearly screamed as her temper snapped in two. "We've been stuck in here, for who knows how long, as you played your sick little game! How about when you killed Carolyn, she didn't see you, she didn't have a chance, was that fair? Fairness is the last god damn thing you need in you stupid, unworthy life!" Her eyes hardened and for a tiny second it looked like she was might tackle Morana and start to hit and strangle the girl, but instead a disgusted look came over Isis's face as if she couldn't bare to even look at such a heartless creature. She clenched her fists in two tight balls and let out a small growl-like noise before turning around to see her sister staring at her with shocked eyes. Isis growled and walked over to a chair to sit down.

Morana rose an eyebrow and remained in her position.  "My dear girl." she replied in a smooth, slick voice.  "It's not my fault at how idiotic humans are.  Carolyn was the sister of Drake...correct?" she taunted in a cold hearted hiss. 

drake felt tears begin to come into his eyes in his fury. He clenched his fists, but did ntohing...as sickening as it was...he couldnt touch this stranger.  She was so lovely, and seemed so innocent... he couldnt believe she was the cold hearted killer.

"Why would she wander off all by herself?  Why would Ebony throw a candle, the only source of light, and leave poor Drake vulnerable?  Why would you dare oppose me?  Why is it that you are all still alive?  is it because my brother has come to seek his revenge?  Or is it that I didnt feel like being the cause of your destruction, and you are all to spineless to make an attempt to save your own pitiful lives.  Do these male immortals need to protect you?" she continued, her legs crossed as she spoke.  She had a voice that was quite frightening, but still fenimine...and so innocent.  her eyes redirected to Trek, "You know what I believe is unfaire?  The fact that poor Melanie...and dear sweet Emily were both destroyed in the clutches of an immortal because of my brother's mistakes." she said, her voice being released in a lowly and cool growl, she watched trek squirm and collapse to the ground.

Trek fell to his knees..."Silence, you lie.  You cheat, I am not the traitor...YOU are.  These humans dont target their own kind, they dont rip those away from the ones they love.  I did not kill my wife and child, YOU did."  he held his hands on his head, as if he were trying to protect himself from her words.

Morana released a witch like laugh, "Did I?  I dont recall..." she sneered in an uncaring tone, watching as her brother squirmed inhis own misery and grief. 

Trek shook his head, "You DEMON!" he snarled, his eyes now tearstreaked.

Morana smiled wickedly, "Ah...now I remember.  'Trek, take Emily and get out!' the glas.s shattered as a black bird swooped upon the small family.  'No, I cant leave either of you' 'she's coming to fast, there is no time!' the streaks of talons against the stone walls of the hiding place caused sparks to erupt from the darkness.  'I will face her,' The two siblings erupt in a fury of talons, until the sister remained victorius.  'No, please...spare us!' the black bird approached, the tan laying a pile of blood.  the shrieks of the human girl were like music to her ears...... I believe you know how this story ends, Trek."  she stated, recalling the night that the lives of Trek's family were destroyed...

Trek lunged, Morana gliding off her post and onto the other banister.  "How does it feel?  To know that because of your weakness...you couldnt save them?"

Drake cupped his mouth, he watched as the kind immortal began to loose himself...with just words.  And morana hasnt even striked yet.

 Isis snarled at the girls words. She couldn't believe Drake was just standing there doing nothing. She was about to grab a knife and launch herself at the girl, but her sister held her back.

 "Isis...Calm down Isis..." Ebony said calmly standing up and pulling Isis closer to her. "You don't want violence where it is not needed and nor do you need to get into a fight you can't win." She said soothingly. "Remember what father use to tell you? That when you act out f anger you only make it worse."

 Isis growled as her sister spoke quietly to her trying to calm her down which almost seemed impossible at the time. She watched as Trek and Morana talked, but she couldn't hear them...She could only hear the words of her sister right then and everything else seemed frozen...Or maybe more in slow motion. Then eventhing exploded back into her brain...Morana's heartless words, Trek slamming into her and crashing off the post, and Drake just...Standing there with his mouth covered watching them. "She plays with emotions...That is all she does, that is how she wins...With fear, sadness, anger, happiness, and love..." Isis whispered to herself barely loud enough for Ebony to hear.

Maku and Rule finally lost it.  They shifted into their own hideous forms and launched themselves at Morana...  Trek screeched in terror as his friends attancked in their fury... he closed his eyes...knowing what would happen before it did....

In a split second, Morana's eyes darted to the attackers.  The feathers exploded of her flesh, as her tail whipped from her hinde.  Her eyes became sickly slits as her talons formed.  She met Maku head on, taking his head in one talon, and twisting abruptly to the side.  The shatter echoed abouth the hall as the reptile/eagle fell to the ground, its neck twisted awkwardly she threw him his unmoving body to the stairs... as his eyes glazed over in death, nto seeing the immediate death coming.  In no more then 2 more seconds, she slammed her talons down on the back of the other attacker, it to shattered in a moment as the creature whined, collapsing to the ground...  Morana finished him by taking his neck in her beak and thrashing about so that the crimson splattered on the walls, and seeped into the rug.  she watched the tiger/horse go limp in her beak, as his blood dripped from her jaws.  she threw the immortal to the side, where he hit the wall with a loud thud...falling to the ground...unmoving...lifeless.

The whole actions occured in no more then 5 seconds.  If anyone were to bl
ink, they would have missed the short battle.  "Such ashame.  such handsome creatures...." Morana said in a fake saddened voice, she, now in her human form, moving Maku's broken head with her foot so she could see his face.  She crossed her arms and watched the others once more.

Trek snarled and clenched his fists, he saw Ext's ex
pression shift into a dangerous snarl, as his eyes narrowed in fury.  Trek himself debated whether to lunge at his sister... not wanting Ext or himself to suffer the same fate.  He glanced at the humans, wishing he could shield their eyes from the horror they just witnessed.
