Kaira watched from a distance as the crazy lynx clumsily clawed himself up a tree, then slinked onto a branch and dropped into sleep. Why didn't he just jump? Lynx's were good at jumping, from her knowledge. She sighed, made a mental note of where that tree was, then calmly trotted off. She'd had enough of this weird cat for now, so decided to head to the river and cool off in the water.
Once she arrived, Kaira stepped into the cool liquid without hesitation. She waded slightly deeper and snorted happily from the cool feeling flowing over her muscles. Her head lowered and she took a few refreshing sips of the water, feeling the satisfaction of a nice drink. She sighed to herself then lifted her head and waded around in the water pleasurely.

Sasha gasped, sides heaving, as her poor kit wimpered and wailed for food. "I want food." She repeated over and over. But Sasha was too weak to run, let alone hunt. She wimpered and limped over to a lightning-struck tree, hollow but providing plenty of shelter. She was so helpless and decided to keep to the shadows now. She gasped and curled up in a ball and before falling to sleep, asked Cody to lick her wounds.
Cody woke up and noticed her mother was still asleep. She licked her wounds again, blood was spilled out all over the floor. It was dry and... Within a few seconds, Cody realised her mother wasn't going to wake up any time soon. Buy she was still warm and breathing.
Cody didn't know much about how to hunt, but she knew to stay hidden and silent. She spotted a plump rabbit chewing on grass, took a deep breath and pounced, slicing a deep cut in the sides of her prey. She let out a playful battle cry and finished off her first ever prey with a sharp bite. She dragged the creature only just bigger than her back to the tree and dumped it in front of her mother, who had just woken up and looked extremely worried.
I am ashamed of myself - I have a dead Iluvu and a Dead Silver Sirleon. I also have no resurrection Potions.

Red pressed his nose on his shaking kit's flank. "Hey Patch, it's okay." Red told his kit quietly. The kit nodded his head and jumped away from his father. He padded out the den and Red could hear his kit scramble down the tree trunk. Red followed his kit down the trunk and watched his kit play in the water.
Red sighed and lay down in the shade of the tree to take a nap. He took a peaceful nap and woke up soon to see his kit still playing in the water but a pair of eyes watching his kit. Red got up fast and scrambled to his kit and stood by his side and sighed as a bird got up and flew into the sky. He felt an un-easy flow over him, he felt he was being watched. |

Xavier yawned as he awoke from his slumber in the tree - with, of course, an aching back. How ignorant of him. Leaping down from his place of rest, he padded over to the river, where he waded up to his shoulders in the wonderfully cool substance. A few laps of it wouldn't hurt, either.
A few traces of his sensibility had returned. Instead of causing a whole load of noise, he paddled about, ignoring the scent of a Father and son up-stream. No more playing today. Proper food was what he really needed; not anything to fuel his rueful attitude. Lifting his nose into the crisp air, he opened his mouth slightly and allowed the air to run over his tongue and through his nostrils. No scent to be caught.
