"Of course you know," Sierra pressed, then realized he probably didn't want to talk about it.  Then she just lay, staring out at the cold.  She felt numb.  Then it happened.  It felt as if she was falling, and she was.  It was black all around her, and she was the only thing she would see.  Sierra's heart was pounding as she fell, and fell, and fell, and fell...  Then she landed in a meadow.  A peaceful, neverending meadow.  Her vision was blurry the farther off she tried to see.  Lots of objects were in the distance.  Sierra counted six.  Wait, they were living things.. Coming towards her.  Monsters?!  Or worse?!  Or... wolves?  Enemy wolves?  Wolves of her pack?

And then the blackness enveloped her again and she was falling.  Again.

In reality, her head was on her paws and she had passed out, her eyes still open but sort of distant-looking.

(Her mind was actually trying to comprehend what she felt for him and then went into a mental shutdown so it could figure it out.  Then her subconscious took over, taking her to dream-land, going through the process of what her conscious mind was trying to figure out, but in a weird sort of way. o3o )

Tenebrae was distracted, thinking about why the Alpha was so nice to him, and why she cared about what happened to him or how he was treated. He was about to ask her, so looked over, but stopped before he said anything. She was... asleep? No, her eyes were open... Tenebrae's eyes widened in worry, and he anxiously padded over to her, whining slightly. When no response came, he lied down opposite her, his head on his own paws, watching her distant eyes. They were really very beautiful eyes, he thought.

He was worried as to why she was zoned out so much, so nudged her paw with his nose, hoping for a response.

(Lol.  I wanted random action xD )

Her paw felt something as she fell, then she was back out in a gray, gray space.  She saw Ten poke her paw with his nose, and she got up to go over to him, seeing him slide away.  But he wasn't in reality.  She wanted to tell him what was happening and to ask him if he knew why, but he was a speck in the distance.  Then she went through some sort of trapdoor and Sierra fell into a red space this time.  It was a one-second drop, not high.  Looking up, the trapdoor was gone, and Sierra saw lots of big, red and pink shiny... somethings.  Wait, were those--?

And then she was falling into blackness.  Again.

REPETITIVE MUCH??!?!

Tenebrae was getting very worried now. Either something was wrong with the Alpha wolf, or she was playing a very good practical joke. Whining again, he crawled forward on his belly and nudged her muzzle this time, concern easily visible in his deep indigo eyes. ''Alpha?'' He said, and for once, he wasn't stuttering. Most wolves- and people- that stutter do it when they're nervous; Tenebrae was the opposite. If something serious enough happened, his stutter would fade into almost nothing.

Ten's voice echoed, "Alpha?" throughout the blackness, and she felt a poke in her muzzle.  Then she dropped into the meadow again.  Everything was very blurry and she could make nothing out but the fact that she was in the meadow.  She started, "I-"

And then in reality, she had said it as well and she woke up.  Blinking, she saw Ten right in front of her, his hypnotizing eyes staring straight at her.  Sierra jumped a bit as she woke from her daze and that forced her forwards, her and Ten's noses touching as she stared at his eyes.

Tenebrae, startled at her sudden awakening, jerked back slightly, but leaned forward again. There was no less concern in his eyes as he tilted his head to the side and looked at her unblinkingly. ''A-a-are you al-alright, A-Alpha?'' He asked, anxiety seeping into his voice as well. He wasn't sure what was wrong with his Alpha, and nor was he sure why exactly he cared; she wasn't pack.

But something told him, something from deep inside, that he should care. So, for once, he listened to himself.

To tell the truth, Sierra wasn't fine.  Not at all.  So she shook her head, his fur still really really soft.  And fluffy.  "Ten, it was really weird.  I'm sort of scared."  The blurry figures, the rooms, the falling.  Then she knew it.  She understood.

What she felt was love.

Tenebrae, being an Omega, was not used to being the one who had to comfort others, and tell them there was nothing to be afraid of. Still, he could always try. Swallowing hard, he nudged her softly with his muzzle. ''D-don't be. I'll... I'll protect y-you.'' He gave a soft smile, realising how stupid he must sound. Him, a dumb Omega who couldn't even talk properly, saying he'd protect an Alpha of an enemy pack who was strng- he knew that from when she'd knocked him over- fast, clear-headed every time he saw her, with beautiful eyes... Soft fur...

He shook himself out of whatever thoughts might be forming.

Sierra buried her face into his fur and nuzzled him.  "Thank you," she said, slightly muffled.  The howling wind was coming to a halt, but the snow was very very deep.  The giant flat rock that Sierra gave speeches on was next to her den.  Unbeknownst to her, it had the largest pile of snow on it ever seen by any wolf.  The wind gave one final push as an exit, then the snow fell from the rock.  Right in front of the exit to Sierra's den.

The inside instantly darkened, though her eyes soon adjusted to the dark where she could see Tenebrae's body as a dark shape.  Sierra didn't really notice as she fell asleep in Ten's soft coat.  But they were snowed in, and the pile of snow on the entrance was not going to budge by itself.

[[Hehehe. Ten's gonna have a nervous breakdown at this rate. xD]]

Tenebrae felt his heart pound as darkness fell within the den. He wasn't one hundred percent sure his pounding heart and the blood pumping much quicker through his veins than normal was all because of the snow. No, he was pretty sure it had something to do with having the Alpha resting her head on him. He sighed as he heard her breathing begin to grow deeper and more regular; it meant she was asleep, while he was stuck wide awake, alone with his thoughts, worries and anxieties.

By the time he finally fell asleep a few hours later, he could no longer deny it; the fluffy Omega was in love with the Alpha of a rival pack.
