Tenebrae scrambled to his feet the moment she left. He was going to be in enough trouble with his pack as it was, without taking any longer. Now he'd smell like a strange wolf, too, no matter how hard he tried to mask it. Hopefully, the fact he was also bringing home a kill would make the Alphas a little bit more lenient.

Wandering over to the kill, he sighed, before gripping hold of the neck fur in his teeth. Awkwardly, he began trudging slowly back to his pack, dragging the beast along the ground.

Sierra saw him scrabble around, and knew that he might get in trouble.  But that wouldn't be her problem.  He was a wolf, and wolves can take care of themselves, no matter their status.  She turned forwards and quickly strided off.

(Oh my gosh that was fail.  I don't know what to do next xD )

Maybe there is this huge freak blizzard a few days into November [which is weird for where they live] and one of the packs take refuge in the other pack's camp?  And then romantic stuffz happens with blizzardy problems? :D I just don't know which pack should go to which.

Tenebrae shivered in the icy air, the snow whipping around his already white fur and clinging to it. He hadn't been punished as severely as he thought he would have been for going into another wolf's territory, and survived with nothing more than a very slight limp in his hind foot. Now, though, all his pack was being forced into Soncha territory. The Alpha wasn't pleased, but it was the only chance they had. Their old dens had been taken over by humans, and it was too cold to search for new ones. It was trespass or die, possibly both.

The Alpha himself, a huge wolf that was as dark as pitch, was leading the pack into a sheltered clearing of trees. It would be better if the other pack knew they were there and why, rather than finding out unexpectedly. There was a chance this way that they might take mercy. Because of this, the Alpha sat back on his haunches and howled his message out to the other pack, telling them of the building sites and lost dens, and of the fact the pack only had one -barely- surviving pup.

It was a low, mournful sound, and stood out eerily in contrast to the previous silence of the forest.

Sierra's ears pricked as they listened to the somewhat sorrowful howl.  Sorrowful for the fact that the dens were gone, for the fact that they had to seek refuge from others.  The rest of her pack heard as well.  Many seemed unsettled, though Sierra was herself.  She wasn't the caregiver, the babysitter.  A pack should be able to take care of themselves.  But what with all the humans, Sierra couldn't help but feel sorry for them.  The two emotions clashed, raging a war inside her.  Soncha Pack grew annoyed, obviously not wanting an enemy pack on their grounds.

The Alpha howled, saying that someone would come - her.  She then went forward, the blizzard whipping her fur, snow sticking to it like glue sticks to a crafty kid's fingers.  No other Soncha wolf dared step out more than two pawsteps from their den.  Gladly, the wind was going in the direction they wanted, hitting against the sides of the dens instead of blowing right in.  Though snow still got through the barrier.

Sierra fell, the wind overpowering her.  She belly-crawled for a few feet, then stood up from the cold snow.  Bits of it got in her eyes and stung.  Finally, she found the Krelleg Pack making their way slowly past the border.  Sierra nodded, approval for their stay.  "Come," she said loudly, so as to be heard above the whistling wind and flurry of snow.  She then turned, beginning to lead the other pack to their camp.  Her decision had been made.  And hopefully, it was the right one.

Tenebrae saw a wolf approach slowly, and he couldn't help but tense up, his eyes going wide despite the fact he was being blinded by snow that pelted him all over. Was that...? Of course it is, you idiot, he told himself. She's the Alpha. It's her responsibility. He sighed as his entire pack began moving slowly forward at a snail's-pace, heads down and bellies low. It unnerved him to see his Alpha in such a submissive position, but Tenebrae couldn't tell if he really was submitting, or trying to keep out of the savage winds blasting his fur. Either way, it was something Tenebrae was well-practised in doing.

Lifting his head slightly, he saw that the smallest pup was not with them, and his heart stopped. As the Omega, he was supposed to bring up the rear, and would be blamed if the pup went missing. Glancing back, he saw a soft, sandy-brown shape moving slowly towards them. Tenebrae went to the pup, and did something he knew he'd be punished for later. He was about twice the size of the pup, so he gripped it's neckfur lightly in his jaws and gave it a minute nip. It glanced up at him, and Tenebrae could see a little bit of happiness at not being left behind completely, as welll as a little disgust. The pup was the Alpha's daughter; for an Omega to nip it would mean the Alpha would not be pleased.

Satisfied he had the pup's attention, Tenebrae shoved his nose under the creature's belly and began moving it forward himself. When that method seemed to be doing nothing, he gripped it's neckfur again, but this time remained holding it. He raised his head to it's normal height, so he was pretty much supporting her. All the pup had to do was walk, so they eventually managed to catch back up with the pack.

Sierra led them all to her camp and showed them the amount of unoccupied dens they had.  It'd be a bit of a squeeze, but they'd all manage to fit.  Except one.  One would have to sleep in her den.  No other Soncha wolf would like a stranger wolf in their den, so she took it as her responsibility.  Going over to Krelleg's Alpha, Sierra said in his ear, "Occupy those dens.  One will have to be with me in mine.  Pick someone.  All dens are warm."

(Tenebrae should totally be the only one left standing after everyone plows into the dens |D )

''We thank you for your hospitality.'' The Alpha replied, dipping his head slightly in respect. He walked over to a den, his mate and only surviving pup going with him. Tenebrae hung back, not wanting to be near when the pup told her father of how she'd been nipped by an Omega. In fact, he stayed back long enough that every den was taken, and he was stuck standing in the snow with a rather lost ex
pression on his face as his packmates grew warm.

Sierra shook off the clumps of snow stuck to her and quickly laid down in her den and curled her tail up against her.  The majority of snow was off, but a few bits and pieces were still there.  No matter, they'd dry up.  "Do come in," she was able to say without shouting.  She didn't like seeing any wolf standing out there in a blizzard like this.

"It's nice to see you again.  It's funny that we keep running into each other."

Tenebrae crept in, glancing around himself nervously. He didn't bother shaking the snow out of his fur; the majority of Tenebrae's 'bulk' was actually just fluffy fur, and so he didn't feel the snow when he was inside the safety of the den. He was designed for snow in almost every way. ''Th-thank you.'' He stammered, sitting back on his haunches with his head still low.

''Y-yes, i-it is. I-it's a p-p-pleasure t-to s-s-see you ag-again too.''
