((Hi! Sorry. I was out a while. Yay! You got it to work! Congrats!))

I sat down next to her on the bench, observing the drawing.

"That looks really great." I smiled, trying to get a glance of her eyes. She was blushing, I think. I wasn't the typical guy who hung around girls all the time. Leaning back on the bench, I stared at my knees, which I pulled up to my chest, wrapping my arms around them. I slightly rocked a bit.

"So, my name is Lake. I..." he paused, "Like to draw as well." He looked back at her, hoping she would say something. 

(( haha Its k, and i was actually really excited when i got it to work...LOL i felt smart :P ))

 She kept looking down, as she said, " I'm Paradise..." She kept her book all the way closed. Not wanting him to look at it. She wanted to comment on how he drew too. But she had no idea what to say. And she knew if she said, anything else. She would get shy, and she hated when she did that. 

I ran up to my doorstep, grabbing my house key. I unlocked the door, letting myself in. Running upstairs, I came to my room, tossing my homework on the bed. Francis called to me, telling m he had a few more clas.ses at college to take care of. He left and I stared at the papers scattered on my bed. Homework could wait. 

I came to the attic, where I had secretly been coming to when Francis wasn't around, which was often. Other than books and silverfish, the attic was stacked with boxes upon boxes of sketches and art I'd done. I took out a canvas, painting a picture, one of my many hobbies. No one really saw any of these pictures. Honestly, I didn't think anyone ever would. And if anyone "ever did see", he had a feeling inside that hoped it would be someone like him. Someone like Paradise. 

( GAH! your really good at keeping your posts up to 2 paragraphs. I'm trying to teach myself to do that :P ^^ But as you can see, mine only get to atleast one paragraph and my sentences always start out with "She" "Paradise" or something else like that ....))

Paradise has been sitting on the bench, for atleast an hour now, and when she saw her mom's red car, she quickly put her knew drawing gently in her backpack, hoping not to ruin it. She smiled with satisfaction. Then started walking back to her mom's car. "Hey mom..." Her mom was on the phone, and did a quick, careless wave to Paradise before driving back home.

 I heard the door open from downstairs and I put the painting away, jumping out of the attic and into my closet, where it so happened to be. I changed quickly, so i would have an excuse if Francis walked in. Brushing the dust and fibergl*censored* out of my hair, I ran out, hopping onto my bed. Francis opened my door.

"You're still working on homework? I thought you were a super genius."

"Well, we have a lot of homework today." I answered, staring at my mathematical problems.

"Whatever. I'm ordering pizza tonight." With that, he left the room, leaving me to finish my homework. I sighed; I'd rather be painting.

Paradise stared off into space the whole way home, thinking about what she was going to draw next. Her daydreams dissappeared when she realized the car stopped. She got out of the car, and started walking toward the front door. Her mom was still on the phone, and hasn't said one word to her. To Paradise, it's supposed to be different when you talk to your mom. When Paradise talked to other people, she felt like she had to be a certain person, and she believed that when you talk to your mom, your supposed to feel fine with who you were. And Paradise always felt like she had to be somebody else, to please or satisfy her mom. Before her sister moved out, and got married, her mom would always compare them. Just because Paradise's sister was more extroverted, and liked to socialize more then Paradise did.

Paradise frowned at her mom, while she played with the keys, trying to get the right one. She was always a multitasker. But never a good one.  

I hopped out of the attic, running downstairs at my name being called. Francis was at the door with the pizza man, turning as he asked for change. Rolling my eyes, I fished a couple quarters out of my pocket, tossing them to him. I grabbed a few pieces, beginning to make my way back up to my room.

"Geez Lake, you sit around in your room staring at the walls. Don't see how you're so entertained all the time." Francis sighed. I shrugged, walking back up. 

I ate my pizza and tossed my paper plate into my mini garbage. Drinking from a cup of water, I left to the restroom to change into a t shirt and gym shorts, my typical pajamas, and brush my teeth. I returned, plopping downwards onto my bed. Oddly, today was exhausting and I had something to look forward to tomorrow. I just wanted to sleep at the moment and not wake up.

When Paradise woke up, she turned in her bed to look out the window. Of course, her mom wasn't home. She sighed, and frowned as she got up. Ever since her dad left, Paradise would always look out the window hoping that some day she'd see her mom home, so they could atleast talk. Usually people her age don't want to talk to there mom, but since she never spent any time with hers, she missed her. She went into the bathroom, and got a quick shower, then got ready for the day. She didn't really care if her hair was still wet. She put it up in a messy bun, and walked out of the door. She chose to walk again today. She enjoyed the nice breeze in the morning. She frowned as she realized she forgot her sketch pad. She ran back toward her house and quickly got it out of her room. Then ran back to where she stopped walking. She didn't want to be late.

Yawning, I sat up, shaking my head violently. It was weird to feel all the blood rushing to my head, and strangely made me wake up a bit more. Checking my wristwatch, I scoffed, annoyed. I'd have fifteen minutes to get ready and go to school. Francis was gone and  had to run to school. Luckily, it was only half a mile away.

I quickly jumped into a pair of jeans and tossed a band t-shirt on. I slipped my converse on and backpack, grabbing a brush and stroking it quickly through my hair, twice. I ran downstairs, grabbing a piece of bread and shoving it into my mouth as I ran for the door. It was a hard task to eat bread while running, but I managed. I got into my first clas.s thirty seconds to the bell and took a seat. I laughed, a smug grin on my face. I was on a roll. 

However, I was also looking for someone. I spotted her and was taken aback by her beauty. Actually, I was embarras.sed thinking that I actually thought that. I might've been staring at her the whole period if not my friend poked my head with a pencil, forcing me to pay attention. Ha, that was a first for him. So, I got by just glancing at her every couple minutes. And I doubted she noticed.
