Skellig jumped as the door was kicked in, wondering why the guards were smirking. Sure, they had been ordered to capture them, but why did they need to be happy about it? They'd done nothing wrong, never hurt the guards. He nodded when Kyin said they had to defend themselves, but was distracted by his hands, which appeared to be on fire. Didn't it hurt, to set yourself on fire?

Shaking himself out of his daydreams when Riku pulled him up, he stood still for a moment, transfixed by the electricity coursing through and over his hands. Eventually, Skellig realized he should probably shift if he wanted to be of any use, so leaned his head back as the snow white fur rippled over every part of him, his bones changed shape, and he dropped to all fours, a massive tiger.

A deep growl rumbled through his throat; if these people who took joy in hurting people who were his friends tried to touch either Kyin or Riku, he wouldn't hesitate to kill them.

Skellig swallowed, wondering just how long these repulsive people had known about Kyin and Riku. Had they been planning this attack for such a long time that they were this confident? Just how long had they spent, plotting to either murder or capture two innocent lads?

It made Skellig's blood boil, and the growl turned into a roar as another guard entered at the doorway. The huge white tiger ran forward, kicking off the ground with his back feet, jaws agape, intent on ripping the throat out of the man before him.

When he neared him, however, the man struck out at him with his sword, slashing a wound across Skellig's shoulder and making him miss. Not entirely, however; there were deep claw marks in the man's shoulder.

The tiger roared again, and although he was putting slightly less weight on his right foreleg, he still circled the man and prepared to strike once more.

Skellig roared a roar more powerful than any he had done before that, that seemed to almost shake the foundations of the house. They had hurt his friends. For that, they would pay. There was no way they were going to get away with that. Running forward, ignoring Riku's calls, the huge tiger smashed his shoulder- the non-bleeding one- into the guard stood nearest his friends. He managed to knock that one off his feet, but the one next to him quickly struck out with his own sword, giving Skellig a matching slash across his good shoulder.

Growling at the impact, Skellig stopped trying to plan out and reason his actions; instead, he charged wildly, swiping and trying to bite at all three of the guards. Had he been more logical, he might have succeeded. As it was, after not very long, he stood panting and weak, blood staining his pristine fur.

Three slashes, one crossing through the other two, adorned his left shoulder, two parallel wounds on his right. Across his side was a deeper slash, and there were many smaller cuts all over him. His lack of tactic had resulted in him being easily defeated, and in his last desperate lunge at the guards, the sword sliced a massive gash in his side, deeper than the others had been. The lack of blood and pain finally getting to him, the great beast swayed slightly, before collapsing to the ground in a heap near his friends.

Once on the ground, the tiger slowly shifted back into his human form. Skellig almost appeared sleeping, were it not for his wounds.

Skellig eventually realized he was awake. Or, concious in the least. Maybe he was dead. Was it possible to think when you're dead? He didn't think so, but then again, he'd never been dead. Was it possible to hurt this much when you were dead? Or was it just like sleeping? Maybe Kyin and Riku were dead too. He should probably open his eyes- Why were they closed if he was dead?- and try to find them. He wanted to ask if it was possible to sleep when you were dead. Riku was smart, he'd probably know. He hoped they weren't dead. He'd miss them if they were. But why would he miss them if he was dead too? Gah, this was just so confusing...

Eventually, after convincing himself that it didn't matter if he was dead or not and that he was probably alive because what was the point in dying if you still felt so dead after you died, Skellig forced his eyes open. As if it made much of a difference; everywhere around him was still dark. He tried to push himself into a sitting position and groaned, flopping back down with a thud that only made it hurt more.

After a few minutes of trying to catch his breath again, he tried once more and succeeded in getting himself to lean against the wall this time. He saw the figures of Kyin and Riku at the other side of the room, and his shoulders -painfully- drooped. No way was he going all the way over there.
''... Kyin...? Riku?'' He called out softly, his voice quiet. Maybe they wouldn't even wake up at all.

Skellig's sharp hearing picked up on the clinking of the chains instantly, and he wondered if they were chained up to the wall, and why that would be so. After all, he wasn't. Well, he had iron cuffs around his ankles, but that was about it. Maybe it was because their abilities required use of their hands, whereas his only needed for him to have space. Something which the ankle cuffs didn't allow.

He nodded his head as he was asked if he was okay, but by that point he was busy wondering why Kyin and Riku were kept so far away from him. The room wasn't very large, but it wasn't exactly small, either. ''Yeah, I'm fine...'' He mumbled, looking down at the ground. He wanted to make sure his friends were alright.

''What about you two?''

Skellig nodded and slowly got to his feet, a smile on his face. They were okay in the least, even if they both looked cold and tired. It was no wonder they both looked cold, though; the rooms were icy, even if he himself didn't appear to notice it much. When he eventually reached his friends, his feet felt like they were made of lead, and he sat down happily beside them. He was, by that point, curious as to what exactly they were doing, and who 'they' were.

''What are they going to do with us?'' He asked quietly, turning to look at Riku and Kyin with a curious ex
pression. In fact, his curiosity was stronger than any fears he had, and he wanted very much to meet the person responsible and ask them questions.

Skellig sighed, looking down. He didn't want to become a weapon. Despite his form, the form of a beast strong enough to tear a man in two, he didn't generally like any violence besides playful sparring. He didn't want to have to hurt innocent people, didn't want his friends to be hurt... He couldn't remember what dissecting was, but he doubted it would be very nice.

''But... why? Why do they do that? Can't they make stronger weapons than what we are?'' He looked confused, and suddenly began to wonder if perhaps things really were going to work out. He was cold and tired, his body was bruised and aching, and he had lost quite a quantity of blood, even if the majority of the wounds had stopped bleeding for the most part.
