Skellig shrugged, shaking his head. ''Well, if someone doesn't like you because of personal appearance, they need help. Besides, I'd love to have unusual features. I just have brown eyes, though. Can't get much more boring than that.'' He laughed, glancing over at Riku. ''Sure. If I must admit, I don't remember what direction I came from. I'd like to see that sketch pad of your's, in the least.'' He heard a noise, but as surprised at Riku's reaction to it. Even more surprised by the confusing question.

''Huh? Probably just some animal.'' Shrugging his shoulders, he got to his feet, looking around himself. ''Don't worry about it. If it is anything, I won't let it hurt you.'' He grinned broadly, stuffing his hands into his pockets. It really was cold, he thought. Oh well, didn't really make much of a difference.

Skellig grinned, walking along behind Riku. ''Nah, I'll be fine as I am, I just wanna see your drawings.'' He was still siling softly to himself, beginning to daydream a little. He wondered if the silver-haired boy was good at drawing, and decided he must have been; he just looked like the type to be good at that kind of thing. He didn't think it would make a difference if it did rain, though; he was wet enough as it was without the sky's help. His thoughts began to wander again, until he was almost completely unaware of his surroundings.

Skellig had been in the middle of wondering if Riku had any family, when he realized he was being spoken to. When he eventually snapped out of it, all he heard was ''... Skellig, my brother Kyin. Younger brother." He smiled nervously, running a hand through his hair. Hopefully, no one had noticed he'd blanked out completely. May as well let them know, though, in case he'd missed anything important. ''Ah, sorry about that... I think I... uh... Zoned out again.'' He gave a quiet laugh, shaking his head.

With a slight dip of his head, Skellig gave Kyin a once-over, grinning when he realized he had strange eyes, too. ''Heh, you don't look much like brothers.'' He said, laughing a little. ''Your eyes are a weird colour, too.'' Of course, he meant no harm by 'weird', but Skellig could be a little too thick at times for his own good.

Skellig laughed nervously, finally realizing that his comment could be taken differently to how he intended. ''But, uh, that's not a bad thing, of course! Sorry if I insulted you or anything, sometimes I... just don't think.'' He grinned sheepishly, looking back up when posed with a question. What was he doing there again? Oh yes, that was it. Riku's sketch pad.

''I just came to see some of Riku's drawings.'' He replied, a soft smile upon his lips. ''He seemed to be the kind of guy who's real good at that kind of thing. Don't ask me why, he just is.'' He wasn't sure why, but for some reason, he was just sure that Riku was a good artist.

Skellig was overjoyed at being able to look at Riku's drawings, and his face lit up with a bright smile. He nodded in agreement to being careful, and took it so gently from Kyin's hands it was as if he feared it would fall apart. Carefully opening it up, his eyes scanned the pages within it, showing a slight hint of wonder, or perhaps awe. He'd thought Riku would be good, but these were more than good.

They were amazing. He lingered at every page for at least a minute, looking carefully, wordlessly at each image. Every thought in his mind disappeared for once, and was replaced with a simple desire to look at more of Riku's artwork. He suddenly wanted to watch him drawing, and wondered if he'd ever get the chance. Hopefully, he would, and soon. He didn't even care what it was he drew, so long as it was something.

Skellig wondered, for the briefest of moments, if he should show Riku what he was. If he should shift, so he could finish his drawing. Would he be scared, though? Probably. Even Skellig wasn't stupid enough to shift in the middle of a human's house. The two of them would probably freak out and call the police or something, and there would go his chance of watching Riku draw. For some inexplainable reason, he wanted nothing more than that simple thing. He wondered, though, if they would perhaps react so badly if he gave them fair warning. They didn't seem like the type that would spill his secret.

Standing up, he walked silently over to the dresser and pulled it open, placing the sketchpad inside it and pushing it shut. That done, he walked back over to where he was before and sat down next to Kyin. ''Ah, if you're sure I won't be any trouble...'' He smiled, pausing for a minute. Glancing back up, he decided to take a chance. ''Ah... Riku? What if I could show you that tiger again?'' He asked, calling out to the other boy.

Skellig grinned, thinking he'd made the right choice. If it would make Riku happy, it didn't make a single difference whether he got caught or not. When that thought came to mind, he was a little bit surprised, but put it down to just wanting to watch him drawing. When Riku came back in and said it was milk, he was even happier. He loved milk; maybe it was something to do with how he became a big cat every once in a while... Sometimes involuntarily. If he got made angry enough, he could be forced to shift against his will. Thankfully, that hadn't happened in front of anyone yet.

When Kyin told him not to tell the police, he wondered what he would see. After all, it was just lighting a fire, right? Wrong. When a spark shot out from his hand and lit the fire, he was a bit surprised, but not frightened. If anything, happy. It had been a long, long time since he'd met anyone with powers; thanks to the government's involvement, they were a dying race.

''That's a neat trick, man. So, Riku... You want me to get that tiger for you after you're finished eating?'' He asked, tilting his head to the side slightly, a soft smile on his lips. Without saying anything more about how he would 'get that tiger', he began eating, wondering how Kyin and Riku would react.

Skellig smiled, finishing his soup and drinking his milk. Man, Riku sure was a good cook. He couldn't wait to let Riku finish his tiger drawing, and a little trait about Skellig was that when he was eager or excited about something, he tended to more or less lose his appetite. It amused him greatly, though, that the other boy thought he would 'catch' the tiger. He also wondered what Riku's power was, but decided not to ask. Kyin seemed worried about that kind of thing. When Kyin mentioned that Riku needed to eat more meat, Skellig smiled and pushed his plate over to the other boy, leaning back and resting his hands on the ground.

''He can have mine, then. I'm not very hungry anyway.'' He was quiet for a moment, pondering whether when he eventually did shift, he should do it inside or outside. If he shifted inside, he might break something, so he figured he'd go outside. ''I don't catch the tiger, anyway. I just... make him come out.'' He wondered if either of them had the smallest idea, but since they had powers, he figured they wouldn't be too freaked ou.

Skellig was beginning to have his doubts about the whole thing. Kyin and Riku seemed to be convinced tigers were dangerous creatures and that they would attack anyone who got near them. Maybe in most cases they might have been right, but it was still worrying they thought that. What if they were scared of him? He was glad that Riku didn't want to hurt it, though. He was snapped out of his thoughts of Riku as Kyin leaned closer, and was a little disappointed to hear him say how tigers were mean animals.

When he began whispering, Skellig was a little amused. Did he really think he was stupid enough to do something like that...? Probably. ''Ah, don't worry about it. Maybe some tigers are mean animals, but this one isn't. Trust me. And like I said, I don't plan to catch it. I've made it come out before no problem.'' He smiled softly, shaking his head. Turning to the other boy, he spoke softly and quietly, a nearly inaudible whisper. ''I guessed as much. I'm not stupid enough to do that, but thank you for the warning.'' He smiled again and stood up, stretching his arms above his head. He  glanced around himself, wondering when Riku would be finished. ''D'you need any help over there, Riku?'' He asked, loudly enough for the other boy to hear.

Skellig couldn't help but think how cute Riku looked when he smiled, but immediately pushed the thought out of his mind. That wasn't what he needed to be thinking about. right now; he should have been focusing on how not to get Kyin and Riku to freak out. Then again, Skellig had never been the best at focusing on one thing at a time, and became distracted again when Kyin put the fire out. It really was incredible, that power of his. He thought it would be easier to manage, once he'd learned to control it. More practical, too.

''We don't need to fish it out, like I've said. I just call it, it will come.'' Without saying anything more, he stuck his hands in his jeans and walked outside, to the back of the house. Tilting his head back and looking up to the sky for the briefest of moments, he closed his eyes and breathed in deeply. His skin seemed to take on a slight glow, although it could be put down to one's imagination, how faint it was. Silky, snow white and chocolate brown fur grew from his skin in what looked like ripples and waves, and his figure twisted into the shape of a four-legged beast. His jaws pushed out slightly, his ears became more runded and cat-like, and his over-all anatomy changed. By the time the shift had finished, there no longer stood the blonde haired boy; where he had been standing was now a white, brown-striped tiger, sat on it's haunches.

The shift did hurt of course, as it always did, but he'd adjusted and had remained silent during it. Now, when he opened his eyes and looked for the brothers, there was nothing more than a hint of amusement at the fact they had believed right up until the shift that he was going to catch the tiger.
