Allira woke up one morning and noticed the sky was gray. She had a feeling something bad was going to happen that day. She also had a feeling it was from the fire nation. After she realized the sky was gray she got dressed in ripped jeans and a purple t-shirt. She got on her tennis shoes and equiped all the armor and weapons she had and ran outside and took a walk being perpared for anything.

Zaylek woke up just as Allira ran out of their hut. He got up quickly and put on his armor. He grabbed his sword and ran outside after her. The sky was completely gray. From what he could tell, there were no clouds, just gray. He ran in the direction he saw Allira's footprints going and soon caught up with her. Zaylek grabbed her arm and stopped her. "What the heck!?! You can't run off like that! It's dangerous here, you know that." His voice got softer, and he was mad at himself for being mad at her, if that makes any sense. "I know you think it's probably the firebenders, but we can't take on and entire army alone." He let go of her arm, afraid of hurting her. "Let's just go home. We can take on the entire fire nation when we're ready." He stared into her eyes, waiting for an answer.

Fine, but I will be training every second of the day, and will only stop to go to the bathroom and eat. I will not be afraid of them not today when the whole forest might be in danger. I will do whatever it takes to save this forest! Then, she ran away back to the hut.

"So tempermental!" He saighed. He quickly ran back to the hut. When he got there he saw her and said, "I'm sorry. I know how much this forest means to you... I love it too. But we can't go attack that many people... we'd die. Please forgive me, i'm sorry." He lightly touched her cheek.

She started crying and started to explain what had happened to the rest of her family when she was younger and what the fire nation did. She wanted to get revenge on the fire nation so much she wasn't afraid to go out there and be killed.

He hugged her, "I know. It's okay Allira." He hugged her and tried to make her feel better. Zaylek cradled her in his arms and wiped away her tears. "You don't have to worry about that anymore, someday we'll have our revenge." He thought about what had happened to make him an amnesiac. The fire nation had captured his family from their camp and made them slaves. Eventually they had killed his mother, father, and two brothers. Only his sister and him were still alive. They came to take her and he fought as long as he could to let her escape. She did and he had killed the men that tried to take her. He escaped and searched for her, but he never found her. "We'll kill them all."

I know we will but we have a chance to at least to kill a few of them and that will give us a better chance next time. So today at about noon I am going to go out and sneak up on 3 guys and kill them, and your not going to stop me! Then she stomped to her room.

He rolled his eyes, "Oh god, here we go again." He walked over to the pond yelled to Allira, "I'm bathing, don't come out!" He quickly got cleaned up and dressed again. Then he headed towards the hut and walked in. He saw her and said, "I'm gonna help you. You're not going by yourself. I don't want yo getting hurt, not that I think you're weak or anything." He smiled. "Get ready, if we're gonna attack them we might as well kill as many as possible. And that means starting early."

She yelled awesome! She tightened all her armor and secured her weapons and even grabbed some backup and put them in her shoe and ran out the door and at the halfway mark to where the fire nation were atacking she stopped.

He went up to Allira and hugged her, he whispered into her hear, "You're welcome." He laughed. And grabbed his sword off the ground. Even though it was pretty easy for him to kill with bending, he still liked to fight with a sword. "Are you ready?" He said as he picked up Allira's pack with supplies in it as long as his own.

He winked back and walked to the edge of their campsite and waited for her. When she came back they started walking into the forest towards the fire nation. "Here's our plan: We'll find one of the smaller camps near the edge. It should have about 20 people. We should be able to easily kill them and, depending on how we feel, move on to another site. Good?"

Perfect she said and they gave each other a hug when they were very close to one of the campsites. Just in case anything was to happen to one of them. Just as they were about to attack one of the fire nation warriors snuck up on them and knocked them both out.

Zaylek collapsed and felt like he was about to go unconcious. But, he knew he could'nt let anything happen to Allira. He grabbed his sword and swung it up through the air, killing the soldier that had attacked them. He saw three more behind and used his sword to dispatch them. He looked around and saw no immediate danger so he went over to Allira. She was unconcious. He knew that he couldn't take care of her here so he picked her up and swung her onto his soldier gently. He picked up all of their things and starteed runnng. He ran as fast as he could with all the extra weight, and soon arrived at the camp, he could barely breathe. He stumbled over to the pond and laid her down on a patch of moss. "Oh my god, I'm so sorry." He whispered although she could not hear him. He was crying when he checked her head and saw then large gash where she had been hit. He cleaned out the wound and bandaged her head. He did the same to his and then took her inside. Zaylek put her down on her makeshift bed and sat in his, watching the door and her at the same time. He had his sword across his lap and leaned against the wall. He was thinking: How could I be so careless. I should have told her not to go. I'm so sorry Allira...

A while later she woke up with her vision blury. But she could make out the picture of Zaylek. A few minutes later she murmured "Zalek". She could not believe she went out there so stupidly. A moment later Zalek came over to check on her.

"I'm so sorry, Allira." Zaylek said as she murmured his name. "I should have been able to protect you better." He grabbed her hand and sat by her, "Anyway, are you okay? Do you think you can walk? I tried to bandage you up, you should be pretty much okay... maybe a little lightheaded but..." He was blibking back tears, partially from seeing her in pain, but mostly because it had been his fault.

I'm fine she murmured. I think I'll be able to walk in a little while. Her vision was still a little blury but could still make out some images. When she was almost ready to walk she asked " what happened?"
